- Should be labeled on the motherboard, if not look for a port that looks like the end of the cable. It only will fit in a SATA port so your safe to try to fit it.

- 1) put the hdmi cable in the back of the the console. 2) put the other end in the telly. 3) also make sure the power cable is connected to the console 4) change the telly channel to hdmi That should be it and yes you will get sound :)

- you should see a hole in your firewall with wires going through already. pop your hood an look where theyre coming through then go inside and locate the hole.

I have heard that there is a power cable that will plug into one of the other ports on the side of the computer to, but I don't know where to find one or what they are called. - in case you're blowing 13amp fuses then you definately've a defective PSU. It desires repairing or changing. EDIT: Makes somewhat extra experience now. might no longer be PSU that's defective it would purely be doing that's job and closing down because of the fact something on board is overloading it (defective). in case you're no longer skilled this is suited which you have it regarded at via expert. or you could attempt to coach one way or yet another whether this is PSU or no longer. Like disconnecting some factors separately, to any extent further HDD or photos card etc. the least complicated attempt of coarse is to aim yet another PSU. purely some techniques for you, yet as I say if no longer skilled suited go away to specialists. I.E. their 400 series cables that are wound in different arrays to optimize each frequency out put? Can a Power cable actually provide more efficiency if constructed right, once again, their 400 series?Subwoofers being 1000 RMS but only getting 500, will running them at their RMS make a significant difference?
- Power cables are very very important when running a comp set up. You want as much current running through as you can possible get. Same goes for your ground, you want it to be just as good. Monster Cables are a very good brand of cable. RMS is basically the wattage a speaker can take continuously. If you run twice as many watts through your amp it will be significantly louder and boost your SPL.
- Q: I recently bought an asustek computer with a 350 watt PSU. Unfortunately, it did not come with a power supply cable. I have a quot;king-cord10 amp 125v 1250w cable numbered KC-003. Will this cord work to power my computer, is it too powerful, not powerful enough? I don't want to plug it in and over power it or somethig. Thanks for the help.

- Hi Sherlock, You need a copy of BS 7671 The IEE Regulations. By the cable sizes mentioned you must be in the UK. The current carrying capacity of a conductor is a function of its Cross Sectional Area, Length, Method of installation, Is it grouped with other circuits, Ambient Temperature and fuse or CB type. (these are called multipliers) For larger cables the power factor of the load must also be considered. The basic formula assuming no multipliers are used is Volt Drop per ampere per metre X length of run X Design current / 1000 Volt drop is from the tables in BS 7671 Length of run is the cable length design current is the current the cable will have to carry in normal use 1000 is because Vont Drop per Amper per Metre is given in millivolts

- That's right, the power cable is in case your power supply doesn't have a 6-pin power connector. A 300W power supply for a 3850 is cutting it a bit close, but you'll probably get away with it if the rest of your machine is typical. (Typical machines with a 3850 are just under 200W peak. See link.)
