- Q:recently i purchased an imac G4, it included everything)keyboard, speakers, mouse ect.) but, it didnt come with a powercable. i knew this when i bought it, but thought it was a standard connector,i was wrong, it is a 3 pronged connector, I have a cable that will fit, but it is only 2 prongs, (it's missing the ground pin) . i only can return this item in 4 days if there is a problem with it, i could buy a powercord, but i risk it not coming in time. Can i use my 2-pronged power cord just to test it's funcionality. (fans, chime etc.) without the computer catching on fire of any other type of failure.Chris
- specific. the means cords designed for the iMac are what's mandatory to function the iMac. the present twine probably isn't feeding adequate means to function all stages of the device. that could happen. substitute the twine. optimistically, which will remedy your subject. stable success.

- Q:what is the difference in applications between single and multicore power cables?
- Multi-core power cables are useful any time you're carrying a circuit in and out of an appliance at the same location. Usually that's just 2 plus an optional ground. For electronic devices with specialized power requirements, there may be several power lines in the cable carrying different voltages. Single-core power cables are especially useful in high amperage appliances, such as welding equipment, and in DC automotive wiring in which the chassis serves as the ground. Thick cables for high amperage are hard enough to manage and wire without being bundled into a multi-core monster. It also makes sense to use single core cables with a ground chassis so that you only have to run one wire, and just complete the circuit to ground at the point of use. Single-core power cables can also be useful in serial or parallel wired appliances, or power supplies, such as a string of lights, or an array of batteries.
- Q:I just bought a new power supply and it doesn't have the cables for my CD drives, how do I know when I buy a PSU if it will have all the cables I need? How do I know if its compatible with my motherb?
- you need to consider 2 things. 1. check the pin-out. the cable should match the connector on your mother board. 2. make sure you have atleast 600~750Watts power on the new power supply.
- Q:is there any way to fix this? i don't want to upgrade my power thingy though.
- just take out the shorter cable and buy a bgger 1 and install in onto it.
- Q:What is the difference between an ordinary power cable for a dedicated cable?
- Another example is the flashlight and electric shaver although the voltage is very low, power and current is very small, is still strong
- Q:Printer is powered on cables are securely connected printer has ink and paper printer is installed as network printer on all clients computers and other users are able to print to the printer except me? what should i do so i can print
- This sort of problem can happen with networks. Assuming the network has been set up correctly you can try a few things. It might be the sequence of switching things on and logging on. Try logging onto your computer AFTER printer is switched on. Also you can try not logging onto the network - I have had that work as well. I had 2 computers on a network that were always temperamental. Also check there are not too many users on the network, the printer can count as one user.
- Q:I bought a grand am and i was going to install a amp. in the trunk there are servil wires comming out of the side but idk which is with what does the power cable look like? the rc cables remote ect? all the ends are just cut off
- the power cable is red the remote cable is blue and the ground is a short cable ..black color the rca's are two inputs..hahaa i hope that helps you
- Q:Asus Motherboard: P7P55D-E ProIntel CPU: Core i5-750 Quad-Core Desktop LGA1156BFG Tech Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT 512 MBPower Supply: Thermaltake TR2 600WRAM: PNY 2GB DDR3 PC3-10666 1333MHzHD: Seagate 320GBTitle says it all. I've google my heart out looking for answers. Many say maybe power supply is bad. I tested my old PS and it still doesn't work. Try new Cable. Try every RAM slot. Made sure my CPU is nice and tight. Sigh...headache....headache.
- You might want to look at Asus website under CPU support..the 750 shows 2 different bios up dates with a URL to go to for more Info. If that's all right..try the ram...(if its dual channel) take out one stick at a time see if you have a bad stick...if you only have one 2GB it may be bad...Go to BIOS and set to safe default then try it
- Q:Does it need the PCI-e power cable on the PSU
- Well the older models don't, but the newer models do. Theres either 6-pin, 8-pin, one 8-pin one 6-pin etc.
