Q:I have rugs on hardwood floors but these gets dirty very quickly as I broom daily and vacuum once or twice a week and then clean the floor with murphy oil but still rugs gets dirty and whats the best way to keep neat and clean: the only way is to either vacuum daily, or if they rugs are small enough, shake them outside of all the excess dirt and dust. I have lived in my apartment for 8 years when my current lease expires.: It sounds to me that since you have lived there for 8 years the 5 year scale has expired. Most carpets in the apartment rental business are prorated during the 1st 5-7 years. The $1200 must have been the value of the existing carpet or replacement value. Over the 5 years of the carpet's life if ever it were damaged and needed replacing, the $1200 would be prorated with X number of dollars deducted for each year of wear and tear. This means that after 8 years the landlord would get nothing for the carpet as it lived out its expected life. It is true that carpet quality varies but rest assured it is likely that an average quality carpet was installed when new. Prorating a carpet is based on: age of the carpet, quality of the carpet, how much the landlord paid, and expected life. I don't think you are going to owe anything for damage to the carpet unless the carpet was still in pristine condition and even then you would not owe very much.

I have received several answers-- she's a hatchling, she's 5 months old, she's 5 weeks old, etc. I was recently told that jungles hatch at 4-6 inches. Need a more definite answer! You will have to rent a large fan like the damage restoration places have. The carpet will need to be pulled up where lots of air can get under. Q:I have a 1 yr old Male, fixed, cat. He's never given me ANY problems. except lately he's been urinating on the bathroom rug.. Well, it sounds worse than it really is.. he did it once, then I washed the rug.. it was clean for a day.. then he peed on it once again.
