- First put down tack strip which can be purchased at any home improvement store. Buy your pad there also cut the pad to fix snug within the tack strips. Now lay the carpet on top of the pad and rent or buy a knee kicker to stretch the carpet to the tack strips. Carpet needs to cover the tap strip when stretched over the strip and push down you should have a good job. It is very easy to remove.
- Q: I'm looking for a living room rug approximately 8x10 or larger. Someone told me that I can perhaps be able to buy two pieces of carpet and have them made into a rug, it suppose to cost less than an already made rug and I can chose the colors I want. - I wash mine .... I just put it on hand wash and fold them in half.... and dry on low or air .... and continue to check on em until they are just about dry!
- Q: Just wondering if anyone knows a product that will loosen carpet glue without ruining the finish on a terrazzo floor... the previous owners of our house covered up the terrazzo with carpeting and glued down the padding... not a lot of glue, but enough for me to say bad words, and I'd really like to take some of the carpeting out, but can't afford to have someone else come in to refinish the terrazzo at this point...Anyway, does anyone know of anything I could use?

- Q: It's pretty funny because we are both artist but can't seem to agree on a rug. My living room is bubble gum pink, yes and extremely wild color. My sofa is a sage or dull fern green. - well for starters there is no such thing as a muslim prayer rug... its just a prayer rug used by muslims... islamically its okay.. BUT, if a person doesn't want to use one, all they have to do is put something in front of where there head will land in sujood so that people know they're praying and don't pass in front of them, and they're good to go! also they CAN have intricate designs.. unless of course you have ADD or ADHD and can't keep your focus for too long and your mind drifts away to the geometric prints lol...
