Q: i puked on my carpet then i scrubed it with soap and water. just wanna know if that'll cause mold to occur?
no it shouldnt if you cleaned it well but just to make sure go over it again with some kind of strong cleaner or bleach and it should be fine
Q: I can't seem to find a bamboo rug that is larger than 10x8. I need to know if there's anywhere that I can custom order a larger bamboo rug closer to 11x15.Please help!!!
Bamboo rugs over 8 x 10 just are not available. I have sold rugs for 20 years and they just are not made larger than 8' in the smaller size. Try looking at sisal or similar material. They have the same natural feeling.
Q: Carpet is worn to padding something black under the carpet its showing and landlord is cheap and doesn't want to fix anything. Exterminator told landlord a year ago it needed replaced but landlord ignored. My kids and I have to wear flip flops in the house because this carpet is nauseating. I was going to buy a carpet cleaner but im not wasting my money or time on this carpet. Been here 8 years and carpet was here before I moved in.
From my experience, if the rental agreement says other than 'landlord/owner is responsible for any household cosmetics, outside paint, carpet, lights/bulbs, windows, walls, doors, blah blah.' Other than what you personally destroy, then no. You agreed to move into **** town, they have the right to keep it that way. BUT, you can report it to someone and then get that ball started. AKA, had moved into a apartment close to college but not college dorm. The walls had mold under he wallpaper, carpet has piss stains and mold. I reported it to a health place in town and boy did they take care of it quickly. Owner paid all expenses, and this kicking me out and giving me a 'red flag'. Big whoop, the 'flag' lasted 3 days till my next rental when they Understood the circumstances I was under.
Q: How do you get round rainbow carpet in pickup hall?
This is basically not dig mining, there is no festival of -0- there is a generation gap task is three block, after completion will get a reward of rainbow carpet, also seems to have a very low level is the task of the rainbow carpet, the carpet wool rose for side, then use the carpet and tomato for circular carpet.
Q: It's dark brown colour, the carpet is nearly brand new!!Any sensible ideas on how to get it out? Thanks.
An unfortunate accident with hair dye can make cleaning carpet a nightmare. In many cases, it may even mean the end of your carpet. Hopefully it won't come to this. There are a few things you can try to remove carpet stains of this nature. First of all, it should go without saying that if hair dye is spilled on the carpet one should act immediately. Dampen a sponge and apply dishwashing liquid. Blot the stain with the sponge until you've lifted as much of the dye as possible. You can also try doing the same thing with vinegar. If this doesn't work and the stain hasn't set into the carpet too deep, you might be able to snip the very top fibers of the carpet without anyone knowing. If none of this works, you'll have to call in a professional who makes cleaning carpet stains his business or rearrange your furniutre to hide the stain...
Q: I don't have the cash to rent a rug doctor. I have a large white rug in my living room and I guess from walking around the house with no socks on, there is a 2'x6' area that is darker than the rest, along with a few stains from spilled drinks.I have a bottle of some carpet cleaning foam with a cheap scrubber on the end but it's just too small to cover that large of an area.So I'm thinking a bucket and a rag might be the best option. I have since bought a small bathroom size mat over the area my feet go on but I'd like to clean it still. So maybe a bucket of warm water with a dab of dishwashing liquid detergent? Or some baking soda?I also don't want to get so many suds in there to where I have to keep scrubbing with a rag and water only 5-10 times to get all the cleanser out.Any ideas?
some valid solutions right here so a techniques. Counter perfect or floor tile and grout, in a kitchen or tub are a never ending cleansing concern,,,no count the colour of the two. Grout removal isn't purely tedious, yet you would be able to break tile besides. together as I completely GET IT as to matching or coordinating grout colour with tile, even the darkest is a place for residue/ airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust/ grease/ mildew/ to be a controversy. Sealers artwork Modestly, and choose RE-Sealing besides. I in many cases use,,,very carefully,,,each and all of the stated procedures, besides as PREP in a muriatic acid answer. Grout, besides as mortar is a medium that pulls and holds the STUFF of our on an known basis use of the floor. i could additionally upload a handbook for in spite of the priority, which you do no longer define, by way of using any cleansing brokers with a twine brush,,,and correct prep. Q: What color rug would go with this bedding?
first i thought i liked the orange but together with the bedding i like the navy, green or tan. i think i'd have to say that i like it with the navy the best!
Q: The lid wasn't screwed on all the way, and now there is a lump of it on the carpet..how can I get it out without ruining carpet!?
Nail polish remover won't work...it will just work the nail polish deeper into the carpet. However, you can usually remove spilled nail polish with scissors. Often nail polish on carpet is just on the very tips of the fibers. If this is the case you can just snip the polish off with sharp scissors. Just cut the very tips of the fibers. Work slowly. Don't cut a single millimeter more than you have to and pull up while cutting. This will help prevent divots in the carpet. Try your best to do just one or two fibers at a time...not a whole clump. And dissect the spills first by cutting them in half or thirds, so that you separate clumps. This will work unless you have already used nail polish remover and have worked the nail polish into the carpet. Also...cutting the nail polish works on shag or plush carpet, but not Berber or loopy carpet. Good luck. -
Q: Say my carpet is white and I would like to make it.... red. Can it be done? Does anyone know where I can find such a product.I called the Home Depot and some rude black chick said I should clean it. After I told her the carpet is not in need of cleaning, but maybe a change in color, I reminded her that we put someone on the moon, and built a bunch of pyramids, she still had nothing for me.If not products, ideas? Home remedies?I would appreciate it.
It CAN be done, yes. However, I don't think this is a DIY project. There are companies that can do this. I have no idea what's involved or what it will cost, though. From white to red is a big change ... and keep in mind that red, whether on hair or walls or fabric, is THE hardest color to achieve, the most likely to fade, and the least likely to turn out the way you intended! (How do you feel about pink carpet?) I honestly don't know how you'd find a company that would specialize in carpet-dyeing ... perhaps call a store in your area that sells and installs carpet, and ask who they recommend for color services.
Q: I have never in my life had a fireplace before, so we were lighting the pilot light on a gas fireplace in an apartment we just got the keys to today. Some black soot type stuff got onto the carpet so I (stupidly) proceeded to spray it with carpet cleaner and blot it! It spread everywhere, and now I don't know what to do. What can I use to get ground-in soot out of off white carpet? Thank you!
carpet stains can be removed with a paste of 2 tablespoons white distilled vinegar and 1/4 cup salt or baking soda. Rub into the carpet stain and let dry. Vacuum up the residue the next day. White distilled vinegar is a popular household cleanser, effective for killing most mold, bacteria, and germs, due to its level of acidity.
