I don't want to ruin the growth of her winter coat, and she gets hay and a feed every night.: There is never a need to rug in high temperatures except maybe a fly rug here and there to stop nasty bites and stings popping up. Only rug when you feel the cold is enough to wear a coat outside. A horse will feel the same except only need a lighter one because they have a thick coat. When you step inside it feels really warm, just like a horse going into a stable so you take off the rug. Our gelding is part Arab and only in a lightweight in the field some days but at night because it is so chilly in his stable he wears a little fleece like we would. Hope I can Help.

Q: My cat is 2 1/2 yrs old and I've had him since he was 6 months old. Within this past couple of months he started pooping for some reason on one of my kitchen rugs. I've tried everything to correct this. I've used Nature's Miracle, Vinegar, other pet odor removers, put food in the spot so he would avoid the area, and not only changed litters but changed to scoopable. NOTHING has helped!! At first changing the litters seem to help and I scooped it out every couple of days. My only other choice is to scoop it out every day and/or put him in a cage for a week all day long with his own litter to try and break the habit. Other than that I feel I've run out of options! You could try to black that part off from him or just get new carpeting. But first take him to the vet to make sure nothing else is going on.
