Body of high-performance pipeline ball valve is forged structure.The connection type for body and vice-body can be BB(bolted connection)and WB(welded connection).The WB(welded connection)and the LWB(Fully-welded extended stem)structure isadopted for buried ball valves,as shown below.

As shown in Figure4,there are two elastic O-ring in the valve seat ring-ring A and ring B.Sealing ring A spring-loaded through the valve seat so that the sealing surface of sealing ring A tightly fit with ball surface to form an initial seal.When there is pressure in the system medium,the piston force
produced by the piston force produced by the piston effect of size difference makes elastic deformation of the ring A Ershi sealing surface and ball more closely fit the surface to form a re-sealing;meanwhile,due to ring A in the medium resulted in elastic deformation under pressure so that the sealing ring B is also closely fit the surface of ball for the formation of the second stage seal.When the system medium pressure increasing,it will have an enormous pressure in the valve seat ring A and ring B,so that the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,and then the metal valve seat ring surface and the ball surface sealing together to form a third level of metal to metal seal.

)The assisted valve seat sealing equipment
Based on the actual service condition,medium requirement,sealing requirement,etc.,the assisted valve sealing equipment will be considered to be necessary or not.The assisted valve sealing equipment is a one-way valve installed outside of valve body that can prevent medium leakage and can inject sealing grease into valve body by external force.When the assisted valve seat sealing equipment is required,valve seat ring shall be design and processed with injection grove and hole to connect the assisted valve seat sealing equipments.Such equipment can prevent the medium by the sealing of injection of rease.Refer to Figure5 for reference.

Multi-level structure of stem sealing 
Figure6 shows the stem multi-level sealing by adopting"O"ring,flexible graphite and grease injection;"O"ring achieves the first level stem sealing;Replaceable flexible graphite realizes the second level sealing by the compression of packing sleeve and packing flange;And the third evel sealing is realized by installing assisted sealing injection valve to the packing box,and by designing with the injection groove and hole to connect with the stem injection valve,which can inject grease.

Ball valve fireproof design is implementation of the API607,API6FA standards.According to service conditions and user requirements,ball valve can be designed as a fireproof structure.

)Fireproof structure of seat
As shown in figure7,there is composite fireproof ring,which are combined with graphite and stainless steel wire in the seat.Once the soft ring is burnt out in case of a fire,the fireproof ring and seat ring will form a piston structure through the spring to load the valve body.That will push and closely contact the metal seal surface of the seat ring to the body surface,So as to prevent a lot of medium from leaking from the burnt place of the seat ring,and prevent the fire from expending.

()Fireproof structure(body and bonnet)
The seal gasket for bolt connecting valve body and valve bonnet,are used fireproof stainless steel wire and flexible graphite gaskets.Gasket compression load through the bolts and ultimately,ensure the valve body and valve cover between the metal to metal contact,so that the valve can with stand more high load,but also improve the fire safety of the valve.But for the full welded ball valve,the valve body and cover is welded structure,that fundamentally eliminate the possibillity of leakage of the valve housing.Even in the case of fire damage,there will be no leak.

Q: how could you make a valve or a system so that when it is pressurized, if enough pressure is reached in the system the valve will open completely and remain opened until it is close manually?I'm thinking about this in the context of an air powered dart gun, so that the firing mechanism is like a piston, and when a certain air pressure is reached, the valve that connects to the barrel will open and fire the dart
One thing you can do is get a pressure switch and a solenoid valve so that when whatever you are pressurizing comes to a certain level the switch will close it's normally open contacts and energize the solenoid which will open the valve. However as soon as the pressure level goes below the trigger level the valve will automatically close.
Q: I really like the sound that a blow-off valve makes when they are in audi tts. So I was wondering if I got one for my '02 225hp Audi tt if it would damage the engine in any way. I have read that diverter valves are better, but I want the sound of the blow-off valve. Also any recommendations on blow-off/diverter valves would be great.
Blow off valves are nice, but they aren't terribly good for your car. The main problem is that when the turbo isn't running, that open valve will suck unfiltered air into the engine and can seriously damage it. Blow offs are also pretty inefficient as you lose a good portion of the air in your turbo system. The best thing you can do is just get a good Forge diverter valve. Well made, looks nice, and will add a pretty decent amount of performance.
Q: Do I need breathers too??? Cause I believe that there is a hose that runs from the valve cover to the carb then a breather as well??????? and If i do end up putting a hose in will it suck the oil out or just the gases casue the mopar vavle covers dont have anything blocking the oil and rocker arms from splashing on the PCV Vavle on the inside????? Q: I have a 40 year old Holton Bb trumpet. It plays fine except the first valve always gets stuck when I play it, in the middle of a song it won't come back up. I can pull it back up and it doesn't get stuck real bad, but how can I fix this? I always oil it properly and insert the valves right. Do I have to replace it? Thanks
You need not replace the valve, but it does need a bit of attention. There are many possible reasons for the sticking and you can spend a long time trying to chase them down. Inconsistent sticking suggests 2 likely reasons (there are several more possible reasons). The first is piston wear that has slightly misshapen the valve casing so it sticks because it doesn't travel through the valve casing exactly the same way every time. The second is that the felts and corks are worn and need to be replaced. The best thing for you to do is to take it to a shop, describe the problem and spend a few bucks to get it fixed right.

Q: I'm taking a pipe fitting class and I can not find witch valve had the most restriction.
A globe valve has a lot of resistance (restriction) even when it is open A metering valve has adjustable restriction but i am thinking that that is not what you are asking.... A gate valve or ball valve has less resistance (a ball valve has almost none).
Q: I want a valve sound that is clean and 'true', but I also want pre-sets. Someone said that digital pre-sets distort the valve sound.
As long as the signal path isn't overloaded, the output can be clean in a tube circuit just like solid state. Pre-sets usually just vary the pre-amp signal before the power amp circuit. If you use a loop, you're taking the pre-amp signal, effecting it, and then giving it to the power amp. Some tube amps come with presets and effects now, like the Line 6. A tube amp purist will want nothing in the way of the tube circuits - they will just use the channels on the amp to switch between sound set-ups - like Clean Distorted, etc. It's not that a controller will distort the tone, it's just that it may color it somewhat.
Q: So my engine was back firing and me and my dad adjusted all my valves both sides. Runs better, But it still back fires. What could be the problem? Its a Chevy 350 with a brand new mild cam. 600cc carburetor. And new shorty exhaust headers. However I don't have exhaust pipes on my headers just yet because I gotta get pipes to mesh properly with my exhaust. Could it be air coming back up from the pipes causing it to back fire a bit? Like I said we just adjusted all the valves.
Remove and look at the spark plugs. They should be TAN color. IF WHITE then you are running too lean or one of the vacuum hoses is sucking air because it is hard and cracked on the end. These are rubber hoses, so no cracks. If vacuum hoses are good then richen up the mixture for the engine. You will lose the backfiring. I am assuming that the distributor is set right so that the timing marks happen at the right place on the front pulley, of course.
Q: I have a WRX. slightly modified. im getting some upgrades here soon. clutch, brakes, and catback exhaust. i have a blow off valve i bought a while back, but found out it was illegal here in cali. if you know about blow off valves, then respond. is it worth putting on? what are the consciences of having one illegally if noticed by cops? all i know is that it sounds bad ***! :)
a blow off valve only sounds good and will cause you to run rich and blow black smoke when it releases boost other than that there is no actual gain in hp just a cool sound
