- Q:I recently purchased a microfiber sofa and declined the fabric protection - I guess that's the first mistake. I've had the sofa a little over a week and there are four-five huge blue/black spots on the sofa!!! No one has spilled anything and we can not figure out where these stains are coming from. For instance, I fell asleep on the sofa last night and when I woke up this morning, there was a huge blue spot under the space I sat. I was wearing grey pants so I can't figure out where the blue is coming from. There was also a spot under where my feet were and I was wearing white socks so its not my clothing fabric bleeding onto the sofa. I am at a complete loss! My cover doesn't come off to wash and I don't know how to get rid of these spots but I'm furious after paying so much money for a sofa that these spots are showing up, seemingly out of nowhere. Any enlightenment would be welcome!

It wont harm the sofas. Blow some followers on them once you end in case you have them- the two way they'll dry exceptionally at as quickly as- reliable as new- with out watermarks or anthing! Yippee!

- You Cannot dye a sofa. That'd be pretty awesome if you could though. The best option is getting a covering for it that you can buy to fit your sofa. Custom made- which can be costly, but looks fab!

- I've purchased several sofas and sectionals from Z Gallerie (they carry a variety of brands) and I've always had great luck with them. You might want to check them out. Their prices are fairly reasonably for the quality and they tend to last longer than most which gives you greater value in the long run. In general, avoid sofas and sectionals that have sewn-in cushions. Since you cannot flip and rotate the cushions you cannot maximize their life. How often does anyone actually sit in the middle of the sofa, right? A good salesperson will be willing to unzip the cushions and show you the construction going on inside. I recommend foam cushions that are wrapped in a blanket of down for more comfort and loft; also the down blanket can be [somewhat] fluffed.

- Any furniture store that is not touted as knock down furniture arrives fully assembled. I actually have never heard of having to put a sofa together and I worked the business for years. Knock down furniture is, of course, much cheaper. Delivery fees depend on the furniture store. Some have a free radius. It's always best to ask your sales consultant before making puchases. Just a side note. Good furniture is built in the factory locations and shipped to the stores completed. It can take anywhere from one month to 4 months depending on the piece.
- Q:Matisse does not have a UTI as he does this once every two weeks or so. He used to do this alot but we changed his litter and it got better. - First of all, I think the water spritzing is inhumane. Physical punishment should never be used on cats or dogs. The best thing to do is to protect your furniture. I have two cats and one of them sometimes pees on the sofa. I bought a SureFit Quick Cover Furniture Saver for Sofa from Sears on-line shopping, slip-resistant backing, waterproof polyurethane barrier, microsuede front, polyester fill, machine washable, and looks and feels great. It nice enough for company, or you can just temporarily remove it while you have company.

- Here is a solution get a used leather sofa. You won't be contributing too the death and suffering of other animals nor will you be buying a new product which will always hurt animals and the earth more nor will you be buying a fake product made out of harmful chemicals which will hurt everything. Plus it will appease your parents, they get there silly leather sofa and no animals are harmed to get it (aside from the ones harmed to make it in the first place which you have nothing to do with because they were killed a long time ago for someone else and you are just stopping it from being thrown out or destroyed which creates more harm) I don't much like leather either and would always try and stay away from leather but rather it come used then buying anything new. As the phrase goes: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle...sad that few people actually follow it and that the government uses it as a pretty veil for their destruction and waste.
