Q: im getting a sofa but i want it to un fold as a bed, the one i want to get says sleeper does that mean sofabed
Sofa bed...futon...fold out lounge bed...daybed...etc.etc..depends what country you live in............
Q: What kind of furniture made of rattan furniture rattan?
False vine, rattan, plastic rattan, although cheap, but the use of a lot of problems, it is easy to break vine, cracking, milling. Unsuitable for long term use. Woody vine is agate rattan, the herb is Tengbukebi.
Q: i have 3 cats and one of them pooped on the sofa so i need to find out which one and teach them not to because my room smelled like poop for a whole day
agree with Tess. You have to catch them in actual act. And also remember once they did it their they will try to do it their only twice again. so you have very less time.
Q: What kind of sofa or couch do you have?
Couch. Sofa sounds like a freakin rich person word.. no offense.
Q: I am looking for a living room set and I need a love-seat (two seater) and a sofa (three seater). Does anyone know a good place to buy those that mathch each other?
You okorder /
Q: i just moved with my husband (active US Army) to Germany..I have my country's passport and my husband is a US Citizen..I know for tourist, that its up to 90 days to live in Germany..Im command sponsored but was told to get a SOFA stamp in order to reside in Germany..For those who were stationed in Germany or overseas know that its about 2-3 years to be stationed overseas..i was told in order to get a SOFA stamp,i need to get some kind of USA visa (green card)..theres some spouse, same situation, just applied for SOFA stamp and got approved without getting a permenant residence card (green card)...the military legal is no help and its hard getting thru the US consulate..any suggestion would help..thanks :)
You need to be command sponsored through his unit. If you are not, then you don't get a SOFA stamp. SOFA stamps are aquired on the passport when inporcessing the base/flying onto a military installation. You show your dependant ID along with a copy of orders showing you're command sponsored. Then you get your stamp. If you aren't command sponsored, then you can not get the SOFA stamp, because you will not fall under SOFA.
Q: I have a nice sofa, but the pattern is gross so I am shopping around for a sofa cover, however, the sofa's in the pictures all have only two cushions and look a great deal smaller than the couch I have. Will it still work? Does anyone know from experience? Thanks!
hun measure your sofa, then look at the package of the sofa cover, on it it should tell you what size it will cover...at times they even have a picture on them. If you cant get one any other way, go to a dressmaker and have her make you one, the exact size you want
Q: I have a sofa with pillows, but I want to put different designs on the pillows. Maybe new materials. How do I go about making new pillow covers for the pillows on the sofa. Its about 8 big pillows and two small ones.
This is actually not that hard. I've recovered a lot of sofa cushions. Most pillow covers on sofas zip off. Unzip each cover and take out the stuffing. Turn the pillow cover inside out. Then take a tape measure or ruler and measure the size of each of the pieces of fabric that are sewed together. Draw a sketch of each piece, with the measurements. Add about 1/2 to 1 around each edge for the sewing seam. Once you've got all of the pieces written down, figure out how much fabric you will need by making a diagram of all of the pieces. Most upholstery fabric is about 54 to 60 wide. It can be very expensive but there are a lot of discount places that sell remnants. Be sure to buy zippers in the right length or a little bit longer than the old zippers. After you buy the fabric, you can either layout the pieces to cut from the measurements on the sketches or just lay an inside out old cover on the fabric, pin it down and cut around it. Sew the zippers into the side pieces just like the original covers. Sew the tops and bottoms of the pillows to the narrow side strip piece. Be careful to make the corners line up. If you go to a sewing and fabric store, most of the major dress pattern companies also sell patterns with instructions for making slipcovers, which can be helpful. The salespeople who work at such stores can usually help you out a lot with measuring and with instructions, too. By the way, if you get washable fabric and want to be able to launder the covers, be sure to machine wash and dry the fabric BEFORE you cut it and make the covers.
Q: OH NOOO! HELP! I have just spent a small fortune on a leather sofa (traditional one) buying online without having sat on or viewed. I know.... so STUPID. Closing down sale - money back is not an option. The sofa came - it's pretty uncomfortable although that I can deal with. It's like a chesterfield but the BIG problem is that what I thought would be a gentle tan shade is like a burnt ORANGE!!! Help!!! Is there any way this leather can be bleached lighter (the sofa cost quite a lot so I wouldn't want to take a really big chance right enough)?I could probably learn to cope with it if it were a few shades lighter and it just wasn't the ONLY thing I see when I walk into the lounge. Can ANYone help me!!??
Yikes!!! I'm not going to be much of a help becuase I'm not sure of that one... But if worse comes to worse you could always put the sofa up for sale on OKorder or something like that..... getting your money (or maybe even more) back to buy a sofa you really like.
Q: We have a fabric-type sofa. We have 2 dogs. One sleeps on there as much as she can!!! She's a Choc. Lab so a larger dog. She gets the sofa smelling!I plan on taking a carpet cleaner to it to get it clean. How can I protect it from smells? I was thinking of getting a plastic like material and laying it on the seat area then covering that with like a soft fabric, like what they use for pet beds. I'd remove it as guest come. How else can I protect it? What do you do?Oh and keeping dog off the sofa is a no-no. we have 2 sofas and the 'good one' is the one i bought before our marriage. My husband wants the dog to have something other then her beds to lay on so refuses to keep her off. BLOCKING sofa is NOT something we will do.We might buy a new sofa in a year or 2, but for right now I need that sofa to be CLEAN!!!!!!! Its so smelly! (Neat freak here! :) )
The easiest and best answer to your question is to keep you pets OFF the furniture.. The second is to keep your pet properly groomed and bathed. We have a dog and we treat her as a dog.. She is not allowed on our furniture. She has her own comfy pet bed that she lays on for hours and hours at a time. I vacuum my sofa 1x a week and use febreze on it to keep it smelling nice as I have 2 children that sit on the sofa.... If you husband wants the dogs to ruin your furniture I would suggest you get HIM a pet bed so he can lay elsewhere. You could also get a sofa slip cover that you can wash as needed or uncover when you have company.. Plastic is sooo tacky.. * Oh I read your question and it doesn't make much sense... I have a smelly dog that sleeps on the couch but, I don't want my couch to smell? Doesn't make much sense.... If you groom/bathe your dog they don't smell.... Good luck
