- Q: I'm supposed to use a code S cleaner on my sofa (a solvent-based cleaner); however, I'm having a hard time finding one. Does anyone know the name/brand of one I can find at a place like Walmart or Target?
- well this may sound crazy, but u can jusr use regular baking soda. If u mix baking soda with water, and rub it on your sofa, your sofa shold get preatty clean. It works well with dishes, the floor, furniture abnd lots more. But tey not to make the solution too watery.

- Rattan itself is no pollution, mainly to see the furniture factory selected paint, generally speaking, after furniture factory placement and treatment, there should be no big pollution

- Good answer below.........except all the chemicals you used may have set the stain to where it will not come out now. For many years there was a wonderful product on the market, you'd mix it up and just use to foamy suds, too wet and it stained the fabric. Rubbed it on and immediately dabbed it off with a white towel. Have had pretty good success with kitchen liquid doing the same. I'm not real confident now about your chances with the stains. No doubt you'll need to replace the foam inside as the pee has soaked beyond the fabric.
- Q: The sofa is just 1 year old.
- I would find the source of the bugs first. Are the bugs coming from behind the sofa? between the floor and wall? someplace else? First make sure no extra bugs are getting into the sofa. Next, find a spray that is safe for humans (and pets if you have any pets) and spray to kill. Once the bugs are dead, I'd find a cleaning solution or foam that might clean away the poison you used on the sofa. Good luck!
- Q: I recently purchased a microfiber sofa and declined the fabric protection - I guess that's the first mistake. I've had the sofa a little over a week and there are four-five huge blue/black spots on the sofa!!! No one has spilled anything and we can not figure out where these stains are coming from. For instance, I fell asleep on the sofa last night and when I woke up this morning, there was a huge blue spot under the space I sat. I was wearing grey pants so I can't figure out where the blue is coming from. There was also a spot under where my feet were and I was wearing white socks so its not my clothing fabric bleeding onto the sofa. I am at a complete loss! My cover doesn't come off to wash and I don't know how to get rid of these spots but I'm furious after paying so much money for a sofa that these spots are showing up, seemingly out of nowhere. Any enlightenment would be welcome!
- I would immediately contact the store where you purchased your sofa. It sounds like perhaps they have covered a black lining with your microfiber and when you put pressure on it or perhaps perspire a little the black is bleeding through. In any event I would advise them you wish to have the sofa replaced. Money is too hard to come by!
- Q: Anyone who can help me with this problem! My cat just insisted on peeing on the sofa. It is driving my husband and me insane. - Pet stores have cat and dog spray repellent. I bought some once and it worked pretty good. Clean up the sofa, spray it with something like Oust or Odor Out (cheaper), then put the cat repellent on it. I keep blankets on my sofas so they don't get dusty and dirty when it's just us. I take the blankets off if we are having company. If it's a unneutered male, have it neutered. I have 1 neutered male that does not spray and 1 that still does. If it's a female, then she thinks she is dominant over you and will probably repeat the behavior. Make sure there are enough clean litter boxes available. Since I have 5 cats that come indoors, I have 3 litter boxes at various locations. 2 of my cats don't come in at all because they have obnoxious toilet habits.
