- I would Go with really Pretty Beige and some nice cream pillows and you should even through in some nice Gray bluish Accents. With a nice Throw Blanket and some Nice Pictures. Or you could do a nice cream colored couch or even a off white , like egg shell color , don't do white that wont look good.

- That was in England, but I can definitely imagine the same thing happening here. Chinese made sofas had 'sachets' of an antifungal inside the couches to prevent mold from growing on the leather, the antifungal stuff poisoned a bunch of people.

- Q: When I look at the the material it say 100% poleyster, and not to use reg. upholstery shampoo cleaner. every thing you can imagine has been and spilled on this coach it is brand new though, don't have a pro cleaning service near by live oversease and they don't know of any.
- If you know the company's name that made the sofa, I would look it up on the computer or go to the store where you bought the sofa and see what they recommend to clean it with. I don't think I would risk anything such as you are speaking of on your sofa. I had a doe skin suede sofa and it came with some spray cleaner and said not to use anyting but that to clean it. Let me go get the can and see what the name of it is. OK it is a Furniture Care Kit. It works on Fabric, Leather and wood. It has 4 different bottles inside along with sponges and clothes. It's made by Stainsafe and Leather Master out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418. I am sure there are other type products on the market besides just this one. Be careful what you use on your sofa. - It is never cool to be a sofa king. If you sit on your butt all day while watching tv, you are not cool. Not if you have better things to do with your time (which should be the case). Don't eat chips while watching tv all day, that's pathetic.

- Actually I have an Ikea sofa Karlstad in my living room and it's not the most comfortable couch, but I got it because I needed one real bad and at least I can change the color if I want. A couple of people have slept on it without complaints. I have a small place and it works for what I need. My boyfriend hates my couch though-lol. Anyway, it has a warranty on it which is nice and it's not the type of couch that has a slipcover If you want to change it you actually take it apart and it's got these very thick pieces of velcro which are virtually invisible unless you take the couch apart. It never looks raggedy, it's always tight so you would never know by looking at it that you can change it. That part I really like. Knowing that when I get tired of the color I can just go to Ikea and for about $50 I can get a new couch again. It's definitely a practical couch, but it's no Laz-boy or anything. I put a couple of pillows on it and it's pretty comfy for me. I think my boyfriend is just a guy, he likes those big ugly leather chairs that you can kick your feet up on.
