- It all depends on the sofa bed. Futons for instance are fine, they have a quite hard mattress, and they are OK for using regularly, but maybe not for many years. Other sofa beds are usually for occasional use and therefore not necessarily good for your back etc. You could get a futon and top it with a reasonably good mattress, as this would also be higher and therefore more easy to get in and out of bed. I'm sure that would be better, but it would not save you much space in the room.

- Off white and the brown/gold stripes. That will coordinate well with the other room (golds and red are natural complements) and that will really liven up the white sofa, creating a warmer cozy feeling. You also have a wider range of accent colors on this scheme. The blackish blue would clash with the other room and make the creamy sofa more formal and cool.
- Q: When I look at the the material it say 100% poleyster, and not to use reg. upholstery shampoo cleaner. every thing you can imagine has been and spilled on this coach it is brand new though, don't have a pro cleaning service near by live oversease and they don't know of any.
- If you know the company's name that made the sofa, I would look it up on the computer or go to the store where you bought the sofa and see what they recommend to clean it with. I don't think I would risk anything such as you are speaking of on your sofa. I had a doe skin suede sofa and it came with some spray cleaner and said not to use anyting but that to clean it. Let me go get the can and see what the name of it is. OK it is a Furniture Care Kit. It works on Fabric, Leather and wood. It has 4 different bottles inside along with sponges and clothes. It's made by Stainsafe and Leather Master out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418. I am sure there are other type products on the market besides just this one. Be careful what you use on your sofa. - Try scrubbing the stains with shaving cream. Then wipe with a clean wet cloth. Shaving cream is nothing but whipped soap that rinses off easily. The last thing you want to use on your sofa is overly sudsy soap. You'll never get the suds out. Any brand of shaving cream works, as long as it's the typical white foamy kind. The gels don't work. -

- I had a problem with cat urine on my couch. After getting a pro to clean it and using my own concoctions, none of which worked, I ended up putting a plastic mattress cover over it and bought a nice Roots quilt to throw over it. No more smell. The smell was driving me mad. It was either try that or replace it.

- Watch her carefully, and when you see her jump up on the sofa, say no and remove her. She will learn you do not want her up there, but you must catch this as soon as she jumps up and you must be consistent. If you don't want her up there, she must never be allowed to jump up on the sofa.

- If it is spots I just get a rag put some dawn on it and spot clean it. It works great. I have children and do it regularly. If it is a bigger job steam clean it with rented carpet cleaner or if you have one use the hand wand.
