Q: I have a camp trailer and I put car tires on it ,did great for 2 years then got into a wind storm and the tread came off
One key difference we need to think about though is the intended use. An automotive tire (if you listen to the vehicle manufacturers) is there to give you a soft comfortable ride. To do this they have lower air pressure and softer side walls which flex a lot. Trailer tires on the other hand are meant to carry a load. If we follow the 32 psi rule, the trailer tires side wall will flex too much and quickly overheat, possibility leading to a tire failure. More on tire pressure is a little further on. A big difference however lies in construction of the tires. There is a huge difference in the plies and belting of automotive tires versus many trailer tires. There is also a huge difference in trailer tire between manufacturer's and some are just down right garbage.
Q: I am tired alot why?
Fatigue is often due to an unhealthy lifestyle. Fatigue often triggers off further problems such as headaches, migraines, dizziness, lightheadedness, shakiness and nausea. To combat fatigue perhaps the energy vitamin B12 can help or a vitamin B complex. Coenzyme Q10 can also help to boost your energy level as in a web search for coenzyme q10 for energy. The super food Spirulina is another good energy booster. One of the most common fatigue causes is anxiety which is a state of fear of real or imagined danger, which is manifested as increased heart rate, trembling, panic, weakness, extreme fatigue and stomach or intestinal discomfort. Besides anxiety there are many other common fatigue causes such as insufficient sleep, too much sleep, under eating, thyroid problems or other illnesses (such as anemia, mononucleosis, CFS, glandular fever and many others), side effects from medication, dehydration, overexertion, an unhealthy diet and other causes as discussed in a web search for common fatigue causes.
Q: What is the name of the pattern for rotating directional tires on an AWD? What about non-directional?-Thanks
I'm not sure the name of the pattern, but on a AWD vehicle you would rotate the front tires to the rear and the rear tire forward to the front and keeping the tires on the same side of the vehicle that you removed them from. This applies to both directional and non-directional tires. Vehicles with different size tires front and rear can not be rotated. Hope this helps.
Q: I‘ve heard different things regarding tire pressure for best fuel economy. Do I do what it says on the inside of my door(35 psi) or what it says on my tires (50psi)? My tires and wheels are not stock so I am curious as to what to do. thanks
Not a single person got this right. Time for the professionals. To begin, there is no RECOMMENDED inflation pressure listed on the sidewall of the tire, only an informational listing of the tires maximum load carrying capacity at the tires maximum inflation pressure. That is not a recommendation. In fact if you really look at the sidewall there is a notice there to refer to the tire load and inflation tag inside the door for the recommended pressure for your vehicle - but nobody EVER looks at that bit. If you contact the tire manufacturer they will tell you the same thing. Go by what the car says. The vehicle tag will be accurate for any tire from any manufacturer so long as it is the same size as originally installed on the vehicle. Inflation pressure, contrary to popular myth frequently perpetuated around here, is determined by tire size, not brand or model. If you have changed tire sizes then different inflation pressures may be required. There is a simple way to calculate this but I would need to know your vehicles original tire size and recommended inflation pressure (or at least year/make/model) as well as the tire size you are currently using - including the load index. Its the most important part but nobody knows what it is so they always leave it out.
Q: Tire says 80psi, door plate says 40 psi, thats a huge difference.
Go by the door. Air pressure is what carries the weight. The vehicle manufacturer determines how much air is required to safely support the vehicle and its contents. The pressure on the tire is the maximum pressure that tire is capable of holding. If your tire says 80 psi, you have a load range E tire. That tire will fit on several different applications, which might be 3/4 or 1 ton trucks, obviously heavier and having the need for more weight carrying capacity. What the tire says is maximum pressure, not your truck needs this pressure.
Q: I got a flat tire, didn‘t know how so I go and put more air in the tire and notice that it is coming out of the little tube which you put the air in through, it is almost like the tube rubbed up against the rim and slit the a whole in the that tubeBasically is there any way I can repair that instead of getting a whole new tire?I bought that green slime stuff and tried that, the botte suggested it wouldn‘t work but I thought for eight bucks it was worth a shotdidnt work tho
Are you pulling over to park? Or are you stopping at a red light or stopsign, planning to take off again shortly? If you're parking, you shift all the way down as you're slowing down, to neutral. If you're planning to start again momentarily, you shift down to first. You sit at the light with your clutch lever held in until the light changes, then you take off again. It's harder to find neutral when shifting down, because it's only a 'half click' down from 2nd. So if you are shifting down into neutral (like to park) you might find it easier to shift all the way down to first, and then half a click up. If you're slowing down and think you might or might not have to stop (like approaching a crowded intersection), you shift down as you slow down, so at any point you can let out the clutch, apply some throttle, and take off again. This takes some practice, to know what gear to be in at what speed, but if you get it wrong, it's easy to pull in the clutch quickly and shift up or down one or two gears. It takes about half a second. A couple of weeks of actual riding will teach you all about this. It's easier to do than to explain.
Q: My tires are literally bald and is in need for replacements. I also need my tire size it will help a lot.
I suggest a tire store to fulfill your needs. You don't even know the 2 places on your car where the size is listed so I deem you hopeless. Remember go to a Tire store and not the pizza place.
Q: my tires are wearing inside and outside is that hubs or ball joints?
Hi I think it is too low of tire pressure. Too much air , tires ware in the center.
Q: I am looking to get new all season tires for my 2004 mazda 3s, are these good tires?
Perelli is a good company, as are all of the companies. Regardless of what happened with Firestone. (that B/S was Ford's fault for overloading the tire with more and more vehicle) The bad thing about 4 season tires is that they are not great for any season, but a middle ground for all of them. You may want to consider your driving habits and aim for tires that give you the best performance for the money. (if you drive a lot in snow, get a set of winter tires and switch back to good rain tires after winter) Just my thoughts.
Q: My tire blew 14 days into buying a new 2009 car. It might be defective. The manager at the garage that replaced my tire told me that GoodYear no longer covers/replaces defective tires (even if shown to be defective) since maybe 2 years ago.Is this true, or was I fed a lie?
Pour in some icing and poke a small hollow in the top and you have a cake decorator bag. once you're making erotic truffles, you will no longer even ought to drain the little bugger, purely get some extra adult adult males to fill it up !
