Q: I've heard that it's good to replace your office chair with a large yoga ball. It's suppose to work out your back and abs while sitting. Is this true, or rumor?: those little green balls? oh you ment YOGA NOT YODA

Q: Is there something you can buy to put under the legs of a chair, so when you slide your chair out it doesn't make an annoying screech sound?: You can buy different sizes of little felt pads that attach to the bottom of your chair's legs, they will make the chair glide easier but beware they don't always stay on well with just the adhesive that comes on them. I would put them on with a little drop of super glue. Just be sure to let them dry completely before using otherwise you may end up with super glue where you don't want it

Q: ok so i was sitting in my leather chair and a flea hopped onto my paper i was workin on then jumpe into the edg of the chair s a few mins i scratche my leg and he jumped next to me again, i freaked out thinking what if theyre living in my chair? i HATE fleas. i have a big room w/ alot of stuff on the floor, do you think this is why they might be here? bci havent vacumed in a while? what do i do about the chair? is ther some kind of sticky pad i could lay on there that might attract them? think theyre attracted to heat? is that right?: They won't just be living on the chair but in the carpet as well. You need to clear the floor and vacuum. I had trouble with fleas recently and had to spray the carpets, I used a natural based insect spray. If all else fails you may need to flea bomb the place. Get any pets treated as well. Supposedly fleas are attracted to light, if you put a lamp over a container of water they are supposed to jump towards the light and end up falling into the water. This isn't just a one off treatment, they lay eggs that are just waiting to hatch. Even if the room is locked up and not used for a while the flea eggs are supposed to survive until they sense movement.

Q: The front leg of a metal, stackable chair collapsed under me when I sat on it. What are the metal tolerances which might or could have been lacking which made the chair leg so weak?: It is unlikely that the chair collapsed solely based on your weight. Chairs are designed to take compressive forces. They are not designed to be tilted where compressive forces would favour a single leg of the chair. My suspicion is that this chair was subjected to this improper usage either while you were using it or before you were using it. In any case, the chair would have to have been damaged or improperly used in order for it to collapse. The other possibility is that your weight exceeded the maximum allowable load rating of the chair.

Q: Is there a better (meaning cheaper but ergonomically excellent) chair to buy for my home office?: Probably, but shop around. I found drastically different prices from site to site.
