Operations Conditions
1. The medium temperature should not be over 60oC, the density 1200Kg/m3, and the pH value within 5-9.
2. During running, the pump must not be lower than the permitted lowest liquid level.
3. Rated voltage 380 V, rated frequency 50 Hz. The motor can run successfully, only under the condition the deviations of both rated voltage and frequency are not over ± 5%.
4. The maximum diameter of the solid grain going through the pump has not to be larger than 50% of that of the pump outlet.

- Q: I am planning to make a overflow box for my 55 gallon saltwater tank and need to know whats a good pump to get the water back up???
- Rio pumps are inexpensive and are very very durable. I highly reccomend them. I keep my sump level fairly low so that when i see bubbles in the display tank cause the pump is sucking a little air, i remember to add top off water. My pump sucks air about once every other week prolly for a few hrs at a time, until i get home from work and its still going strong! (I know this isnt the best way to do it, but if i dont run it low enough for it to suck air i totally forget to add top off water). I havent had to replace the pump yet. I also replaced my outdoor garden fountain pump with a rio. It sucks up leaves and junk all the time with no problems (except when the leaves cover where it sucks the water but thats not the pumps fault lol)
- Q: was told by a Toyota Service that this would only be 1 hour more labor and cost me about 140 dollars more..and that they always recommend it being done same time as timing belt and water pump replacement....but is really a good idea or not? (if engine is 20 years old..but has ony 150 ,000 miles on it..btw. this is for a 94 Toyota 4 Runner V6 engine
- The genuine AISIN timing belt water Pump kit is about $140 at ROCK AUTO! It is NOT necessary to replace the VALVE SEALS! This usually requires removing the YIELDING HEAD to do this! The OI OIL PUMP SEAL would be LEAKING BADLY by now, and it is BEST not to disturb it, if it was NOT LEAKING! Many times they DAMAGE the SEAL housing and cause MORE trouble than it is WORTH! Use the RIGHT type of SYNTHETIC OIL at oil change time with the TOYOTA approval spec numbers printed on the LABEL! I would clean your THROTTLE BODY and IDLE AIR CONTROL valve instead! UUSUALLY, they want you to replace the CAM seals and NOT the oil pump seals WEIRD! IN detorit the 3.0 engien TIMIGN BELT and WATER PUM Preaplcements cost about $750 at either LEXUS or TOYOTA dealership! WOW! I wodu lNOT disturb the seals if they are NOT LEAKING by now! This is NOT a cavlier or PINTO here! The PRECISON with wich a TOYOTA engein is amde and the MATERIALS they have tested and PROVEN to be GREAT should NOT leak in ANOTHER 150k miles! Get a MOTOR FLUSH and retin the ORIGNAL seals! GOOD LUCK!!

- It isn't practical to give a detailed description here. This is a positive displacement pump. The pump chamber is sealed so that as the piston is moved up the volume within the chamber increases. Water is pushed into this chamber by the outside air pressure. If the pump is located too far above the water source then the air pressure is not sufficient and you will produce a vacuum inside but the water still will not flow. When the pump is pushed down the water flows out. Now the one way valves are critical. We don't want the water to flow back the way it came and we don't want the water that we have already pumped to flow back into the pump. So a one way valve on the inlet will permit water to flow into the pump but not out of it. And a one way valve on the outlet will permit water to flow OUT of the pump but not into it. So with each stroke you a) reduce the pressure in the pump. b) water is forced from the inlet, past its one way valve and then into the pump. c) the pump is pushed down increasing the pressure in the pump. d) water flows out of the pump through the other one way valve and on to the output.

- Q: So, my husband and I bought a 1993 Chevrolet Corsica a couple of months ago. This weekend we took a trip that ended up being about 400 miles round trip. About 300 miles into our trip, the Check Engine light came on, but there was no noticable problem with the car, no overheating, no clanking or odd smells, the light went off about 2 minutes later. My husband drove it to work this morning, and we were preparing to go to the store tonight in it, and we noticed a massive amount of radiator fluid under the car and the overflow bottle was empty. The leaking appears to be coming from the engine, and the antifreeze is running down one of the upper belts. Could this be a water pump problem? If so, what is the average cost to repair one (I know water pumps are relatively inexpensive, but we'll need to take it in to a shop). Does anyone have any idea? All replies will be greatly appreciated.
- It could be the water pump, it could be many items. Rather than just guessing I would take it to a shop and have them pressure test the cooling system and do a block test. We charge 30 dollars at my shop. At that point, you can decide whether it's worth fixing the car or junking it.

- (1) Identify your potential water source through various methods. (2) Drill a small exploratory hole to different depths, test water pressure and water quality. (3) Drill the complete borehole for production and retrieval of the groundwater. (4) Complete the physical well, will a sheath to allow in the water at the wanted levels, solid pluge to keep other levels out. (5) Insert a chemical and physical filter system (small screen membranes, activate charcoal and diatomaceous earth, etc.) (6) Put in the submersible pump and plug it in. (7) The pump is made up of a motor, an intake and a centrifugal pump. It's all sealed so no water can penetrate through. The water is suctioned into the centrifugal pump, which is an impeller type device. The water is then pushed out at a much higher pressure rate than it came in. This is how the pump works from the bottom instead of above ground. The water is sent to the pressure tank, sometimes referred to as a holding tank, and is kept at a constant pressure, so when you turn on your faucet or shower, the water comes out quickly. - What's the make and year of the car? If the water pump is bad the car would overheat, not just shut off edit: If the water pump needs to be replaced the car should be overheating. There has to be another cause for the stalling, perhaps he meant to say fuel pump? or filter? Sounds a bit sketchy to me, have a mechanic check everything for you before you buy it, and if you get the water pump changed get a new timing belt while you're at it. I wouldn't pay more than 500 for it from what I've heard. If you can't do the work yourself you're gonna be looking at some huge mechanic bills. You could definitely find a car for a 1000 that wouldn't require any immediate repairs
