- Q: i live in the states but i am currently in germany visiting my husband because he is in the us military and is stationed here. i have been here for almost two weeks and upon my arrival my husband was told i was only allowed to stay for 90 days, however, i have done some research and learned that i do not have to adhere to the 90 days because i am staying on a us military base and i may exceed the 90 days as long as my passport has a SOFA stamp which proves i am a dependent of a us soldier stationed in a foreign country or something like that. my questions are:do i have to be command sponsored and living with my husband in germany to be able to obtain a SOFA stamp ?if not, what are the required documents needed to obtain a SOFA stamp ?where can i go to get the SOFA stamp ?any additional information is appreciated. please and thank you so much for your help i am looking forward to staying longer than 90 days because i want to be with my husband as long as i can before he has to deploy.
- In order to gain sofa status u must be in your husbands orders to the overseas base. He has to hav accompanied orders and you listed as the dependent who is accompanying him. When me and my children pcs'd with my husband upon entering the country over seas in which he is stationed I had to present my husbands orders. To obtain my sofa license which allows you to drive in another country and work I took the class on base and received if from security forces my husband is air force. But I do know that you can stay longer than 90 days if you exit the country and then return the following dAy,you can research Germay's visa laws and it will mention something about getting a longer visa. This is your best option or your husband can put in to amend his orders so they are accompanied and you can move there for the remainder of his tour. Depending on how long he has left of his tour it may not be worth it because amending orders takes time.

Since the sofa goes up a ramp, it definitely gains gravitational potential energy: The higher off the street it gets, the more “potential” it has to gain speed if it falls. (B) Energy conservation is not violated: Of the 1600 joules of work done by the worker on the sofa, 100 joules go into the sofa’skinetic energy while the other 1500 joules go into the sofa’s potential energy.

- Q: Couple of months ago I asked about my dogs peeing on sofa. Got several answers back; all said to crate train them, train them to go outside etc. The problem is that they are trained to go outside and they won't pee in their 'crate'. - Have the dogs been checked by a vet? Ruled out possible urinary tract infection, crystals, etc.? When dogs are eliminating inappropriately, the first thing to do is a vet check-up. They may associate peeing outdoors with pain (from infection, etc.), and try eliminating in other places. It's likely that one dog is doing the peeing on the couch-take a fresh urine sample (less than 24 hours old) from each dog to the vet (marked, of course) for urinalysis.
