- Firstly, I would thoroughly vacuum the sofa under the cushions, underneath, on all the fabric areas, checking for obvious stains, etc - if there are any, I would sponge clean those and let the sofa air out for a few hours. The vacuuming and airing should deal with any flea eggs, etc if you are thorough enough. If you notice any urine odor, there are products to treat that, in the pet aisle or specialist pet store. Next, I would get a dishrag, using soapy water and wring it out well, wipe over all leather parts and dry, to remove dirt, then use leather cleaner to condition and protect the sofa. I clean my leather sofas with leather cleaner that is from the automotive dept. It is liquid that you apply with a cloth and then buff off with a dry duster. The sofa should be as good as new and last for years.

- Going to Japan without Command Sponsorship is a very bad idea. First of all you will be staying on a tourist visa and the most time you will get is 90 days. You won't be able to work legally.No you can't get a SOFA stamp until your Command Sponsored. Living in Japan is extremely expensive. Where would you live while awaiting sponsorship ? Evan a fleabag hotel cost upwards of $150 a night and then there is the issue of food. Renting evan a modest house costs $2,500 a month plus figure in at least $400 a month for utilities. Bottom line is unless you have a huge amount of savings, no way will what your planning work out. It will take 1-2 months after your married to complete the requirements for Command Sponsorship.

- You do NOT need a Green Card in order to get a SOFA Stamp. That is just wrong. All best answers are for 10 points. If you are command sponsored, and you say you are, you take your passport and a copy of his orders to admin and let them process the SOFA Stamp for you.

- It's not an IKEA sofa (though they have some slightly similar). It is just as likely a digital mockup of a non-existent sofa or a one-off made for a designer shoot out of cardboard and plastic. You could probably find something similar at the ultra-modern furnishings sites, but this sort of furniture is often just an invention for a photo shoot -- I have friends who work in advertising and in design staging and what they use is often just a rented prop from a studio supply house.
- Q: It's a really nice sofa. It's an Ashley corduroy motivation sofa and it's has power recliners. The cat has attacked the cord and unplugged it once already, and he has tried to claw the sides and back of the sofa, but I shoo him away whenever I catch him. I have never had a husband, cat, or new sofa before in my life.
- some cats you can train not to do it using spray bottle of water when caught or punishing or using furniture padding but mostly since it is a normal behavior to use claws your best bet if you cant get cat use a scratching board or toy and cant leave in a shut room while gone and only have cat out when someone home and can keep constant watch and try train then only other way is have it declawed by vet.good luck
