- Q: what can i use to take nail polish off a sofa chair?
- first of all try acetone free nail polish remover on a NON VISIBLE part of your sofa, ie under the cushions or somewhere you won't see it - if it damages the cushion cover it won't matter too much and you won't have caused more damage you could try putting clear polish on top of the polish that is dry and wiping both off together - again i would try this on a spare bit of material before you try it on your cushion failing that, try getting a professional sofa cleaning company in or see if you can get a replacement cover from the shop you bought it from
- Q: I'm sofa shopping and found one I like. It is 101 W x 44D x 42 H. My door is 33 W and 78 tall. I don't think the feet of the couch are removable. I'm worried it won't fit. Any help?
- The main thing here is the width, if your door is 33 wide then if you can turn the couch to be less than 33 even like 32 then you can wedge it through. If you can't then, this couch will not be able to go though the door. Good Luck!

- Contact SCS directly, explain the sofa picture you need and ask where you can see the picture online. It may be they dropped the page with the picture (especially if it has been 2 years). If they have ask if they can send you a copy via text or email? If someone other than SCS manufactured the sofa, find out the name and look them up online, they may still be carrying the picture but selling the sofa to someone other than SCS now.

I see listings in catalogs with things like no-sag springs and high density foam in seat cushions is this good? bad? any info will help! thanks!
- construction of the ''bones'' of the sofa, sofas that are heavy are typically built better then the lighter ones. ask if they(manufacturer) use staples versus wood dowls, buttjoints versus mortis/tenen. And a good high density foam and cotton padding versus polyesterfiber padding, and last , a durable fabric that can withstand wear and tear.

- Q: I've never heard of it before- but I would be more interested in dying the upholstery to the sofa if possible. I have a Hoover steam cleaner with and upholstery attachment that normally does a GREAT job, but this sofa is nearly white. With a mechanic for a husband and 4 cats, it just isn't working but the couch itself is in good shape and I can't afford to pay someone to reupholster it or buy a new one. I've also tried every cleaner possible, and even if there was something out there that would work the maintenance is just way to much to keep up with in my household!I already have spent quite a bit on several different sofa covers- nice name brand ones too, Unfortunately I really really don't like them because the shape of the sofa. None of them look right at ALL and ALL of them, even when they claim they shouldn't, just slip all over the place and look even worse!Does anyone know if there is a dye that I could use to darken up the entire sofa so stains won't look as bad
- I would either call Stanely Steamer to come out and clean it professionally or buy a nice slip cover for it. They look nice and can change the whole look if you like.
