- I've purchased several sofas and sectionals from Z Gallerie (they carry a variety of brands) and I've always had great luck with them. You might want to check them out. Their prices are fairly reasonably for the quality and they tend to last longer than most which gives you greater value in the long run. In general, avoid sofas and sectionals that have sewn-in cushions. Since you cannot flip and rotate the cushions you cannot maximize their life. How often does anyone actually sit in the middle of the sofa, right? A good salesperson will be willing to unzip the cushions and show you the construction going on inside. I recommend foam cushions that are wrapped in a blanket of down for more comfort and loft; also the down blanket can be [somewhat] fluffed.

- Q: i have a beige microfiber sofa, it has stains, that I think might be from the dogs, drool perhaps?? we cant use our carpet cleaning machine on this material, I assume-= is there something we can use to get the stains out???It is a fairly new couch, so comfy, dont want to have to cover it or get rid of it. - Q: I am thinking about getting one of those surefit slipcovers for my couch. But I am wondering if it will fit, my couch has huge pillows for the back and sides. Will it stretch enough to go over the pillows or should I try to cover the couch without the pillows and try to find pillows to go over the cover? - I have an attached, overstuffed pillowback sofa and I used a Surefit cover. It was fine. The only problem I had was the space between the pillowback and the sofa back. It seemed like too big a hollow for me, so I bought some batting and filled it out. But the slipcover is great...highly recommend it.

- Finn.no is probably the largest used items web shop. OKorder hasn't made many inroads in Norway yet. The other option would be Fretex, but not as a web site. If you live in a reasonably sized town there probably is a fretex shop that does furniture. Of course you might be able to stretch to new, the wonderful Ikea isn't that silly as far as prices go. Be prepared though some of the taste is shocking!

I've been in Korea on E2 Visa since 4/2009 and just recently tried to obtain a job, but obviously denied due to the SOFA ordinary resident rule.Stupid rule if you ask me because I am still an American citizen and pay my State Federal taxes each and every year since I have been here.Here are my questions: I have read some answers about leaving Korea every 90 days and go to USA. I have a couple of questions: 1. Is a weekend trip sufficient to Guam?2. Does it matter is I am in Korea on an E2 visa and not a tourist visa? - Your statements are unclear, are you asking about SOFA status, jobs with the military (on the base, or actual government or GS jobs?) It seems as if you are trying to obtain employment with the military, not to enlist as an active duty member? So you are living in Korea, but not as a military member or a dependent of a military member, therefore you are not eligible for SOFA status. The rules are the rules, whether you think they are stupid or not. Then you also seem to be asking about your E2 visa guidelines? Not sure exactly what to answer here. You might contact the US embassy there for specific direction. Maybe clarify your question a little so we can understand what you are actually asking and what your employment goal is.
