Q: I am currently visiting Japan and am interested in a couple jobs on base and possibly staying here for a while if I can find a decent good paying job. My question: what is the most efficient means of getting a SOFA stamp to be able to apply for the jobs on base here...?Does anyone have experience with my situation?I am visiting my Japanese wife on my passport and have base access as I am now inactive military. Some other options can include working as a gate guard or at the chow hall? I believe some of those jobs are contracted to Japanese workers you probably can apply since you have a spouse visa. Again, you will have to research what I have said because I'm just throwing some ideas out there.

Q: i have a beige microfiber sofa, it has stains, that I think might be from the dogs, drool perhaps?? we cant use our carpet cleaning machine on this material, I assume-= is there something we can use to get the stains out???It is a fairly new couch, so comfy, dont want to have to cover it or get rid of it. Q: i am always losing mine. wouldn't this be a good solution?: either that or do what I did and buy easy chairs,side tables,and a sofa with the remote built in. also you can buy remotes that have a recharger much like walk around phones that have a button you can push which causes the remote to make a noice.

Q: a sofa have been in a smoker's house for about 5 years now. And i really need to get rid of that smell ASAP with out spending too much money. Please help!: I did this with a leather sleeper sofa once. I don't think I'd try it with a fabric one; there is just too much fiber to trap the smell. First, I left it outside in the hot summer sun for several days to air out (sunlight also kills odors). Then I pulled out all the stuffing from the cushions, sprayed them with Febreeze, let it dry in the sun, repeated the Febreeze bath twice more, and restuffed the cushions. Even still, there is a faint residual odor. You may never be able to get enough of the smell out of it, and if anyone in your household has allergies or asthma, this sofa may affect their breathing.

Q: I prefer a website or links for 2nd hand sofas or other furnitures. I hate looking at newspapers, they usually dont have pictures so you have no clue what they look like. Q: I have a cream sofa, it has crayon food stains on ive tried cleaning it with stain remover but it never takes it all off and i cant afford to pay someone to clean it, any suggestions on what might work?: Dump a quart of goat blood on the carpet next to the sofa. I guarantee no one will notice the crayon and food stains. Also, you might want to invest in some coloring books and plates for your children.
