Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q: Chev 350 in marine use. Made horiffic exhaust noise, especially with increasing throttle. Cam seems fine still, but the rocker on #5 exhaust was somewhat off to the side but still touching the side of the valve stem...but stem bent. What would cause this and is this the cause of the loud combustion sound (like a spark plug out of it's hole?
You have several problems here! First of all lets dispense with the marine part, -- which is mostly cooling system conversion! A bent valve -- probably reason for popping, - it is most likely bent inside from striking (being struck) by piston with some possible small piece of metal between top and valve, -- this could be a simple as a piece of broken piston ring, or maybe a screw or nut that has fallen down in intake system some time,- and just now sucked into combustion chamber! Clearance between piston and head not really large when piston all the way up! In order to repair, you need to remove the head and have valve taken out, -- which will probaly require new valve guide replacement! As for rocker arm, it may or may not be involved in actual origional problem! I would have head all checked over to make sure that it is ok,-- as foreign objects inside engine can ruin head also! Now if this is a high time engine, It might be a good idea to pull other head off also, as you have to remove stuff on top and intake manifold to get other one off again, -- (if it has problems later)! The loud noises may have been piston still banging on valve, -or exhaust gasses popping out when ingniton occoured because of valve not seating, -- you could also have bent intake valve, just not as bad, -- and gas popping back out through intake system also!
Q: hey...im kinda confusedis cochlear an artificial valve???and if not..what is an artificial valve??
The cochlea is the auditory portion of the inner ear. A cochlear implant (CI) is a surgically implanted electronic device that provides a sense of sound to a person who is profoundly deaf or severely hard of hearing. The cochlear implant is often referred to as a bionic ear. An artificial heart valve is a device implanted in the heart of a patient with heart valvular disease. When one of the four heart valves malfunctions, the medical choice may be to replace the natural valve with an artificial valve. This requires open-heart surgery.
Q: the valve stem?
Just buy a new one for goodness sake!!!
Q: Hey I'm high rite now and i have a checkup for mitro-valve prolapse tomrow, i was wondering if they will take my blood and see THC in me....

Q: I have rented a house and the irrigation timer only has wires of one zone.It goes to a single valve then out to a big round cover with 6 zone pipes coming out of it. What the heck kind of set up is this?does it do a mechanical rotation inside that cover? the zones only come on one at a time but every time I turn it on I get a different zone as they are all Zone 1 on the timer.

Q: I have a suzuki bandit 1200 (2001) and I think it needs a valve adjustment. The engine is tapping at idle and while riding but I cant stop riding long enough to get it fixed. All the shops I checked with are booked for a week. Will I make the engine worst by riding it like this?

Q: I have a trumpet, but unintentionally dropped it. When I started playing, I noticed that the first valve was very sticky. Therefore, I decided to put some oil on it. Despite the oil helping a lot, the valves are still sticking a bit when I push them down, as the key still stays in the valve for a few second before coming up again. It could possibly have a slight dent, but when I opened the valve, I did not see any damage at all. Are there any suggestions? And if it is dented how much would it cost to repair it?
My valves have had many issues over the past few years. Your problem is either 1. horn is dirty 2. there is a tiny dent (even 1/2mm is enough to stop the valve, happened to me last month). If your horn is dirty, there are plenty of youtube videos on how; it generally involves using water and rising all the gunk out. You could also have too much oil buildup. If there is a dent, don't even try to repair it yourself--it is waaaaay to hard, and you'll ruin the instrument even more. Take it to the store; it should only cost $20-30. I suggest you clean the trumpet first and then try to get it fixed if it is not good.
Q: i have a leaky tp valve on my hot water boiler. The valve is rated at 30 psi and 155,000 btu. I can't find one with that btu rating. will a higher rating work?
You can absolutely use one with a higher btu rating., but not with a higher pressure rating. Just be aware that this valve has a much lower blowoff point than a typical hot water heater tp valve, so be very sure of the PRESSURE rating on the new valve. (should be 30 psi, just like the old one) You may want to check to be sure that your expansion tank isn't water logged, and that your boiler pressure isn't too high.(shouldn't be much more than 15psi or so, unless you have a multi story house). Expansion tank or water feeder pressure regulating valve may be having issues,....sometimes there's a reason why the tp valves leak. Hope this helps
Q: Ok i dont know much about cars so if anybody could help out with this id appreciate it. Do i need to take my car in to get the PCV valve replaced or can i buy it and have it done in my driveway?Thanks....
The PCV valve is about 3 inches long, just pull it out of the valve covers and replace it with the new one!!!
Q: How does a thermal bypass valve work, specifically in a car.
Many block valves in steam systems have much smaller bypass valves designed to make it easier to control the heating of cold steam lines during startup. Some control valves have by pass valves to permit work on the control valve without interrupting service. The heat exchangers have by pass valves so they can be taken out of service if they are not needed or for repair and maintenance.
