Q:i have 45 kva Perkins diesel generator cranks, battery is ok,does anybody know why the engine doesn't start?every think looks clear!!!please help!!!: Diesel cranks but doesn't start. All that's left is the fuel system. Is there a pre-heat unit? Is it working? Pressure at the injectors?

Q:I accidentally filled my generator with diesel instead of unleaded. It already had a half a tank of unleaded so it has about half a tank of diesel. To make the full tank. Can anybody help me out please.: you need to drain tank, and flush it out, if you do get it to run like it is it will smoke, foul spark plug and the diesel fuel will destroy the gaskets on carb, and also contaminate the oil, remove tank and flush it out before you try to start it

Q:I have a Kubota GL7000 portable diesel generator. now I've followed the recommended maint. schedule on it, new fuel filters, oil filters, oil changes, etc. I have just under 1,000 hours on it right now, it smokes a little when it's cold but when it warms up it runs nice and smooth and with no smoke, it seems to me that it's running really solid and I have no complaints or problems, but I'm curious how long a generator like this (2 years old) should last me?: ok so you a caring owner of the kubota gen. well a bit of smoke is ok w/ 1k hrs and you dont say how many times you use it ie you start it up just to ck it or your actualiy putting a load on it with power being draw on the gen. ? also its important that the oil your using is combatible with the weather and area your using it in trust this 40 w in the rockies aint gonna work and in winter you need a heater in the sump too keep oil warm

Or will i shoot myself for buying another Chinese product?I'm looking at model KDE16STA: Dont buy anything Chinese. They are not interested in customer satisfaction or quality and just want to shift as much product as possible. The materials are usually sub-standard and the build quality is total rubbish! I guess it depends what you want it for? If it is a one off use and then you are prepared to throw it away then maybe consider it but otherwise spend even double the amount and get some equipment that can be serviced and that has a customer service and back up plan. It will be more value in the long run. It is also more patriotic.

Q:I am designing the system to produce electricity for a computer room with 40 PC and 40 LCD screens. The needed power is about 15 KW (20 hp). My system consists of a compressor, a compressed air tank, a turbocharger and a mini gas turbine. I will talk a little bit about the operation: the air is released from the tank and driven by ducting system to turbocharger, at which the air flow is through turbocharger and run turbine to produce electricity. I have searched in internet many times about the turbine but still have no fit one. Can anybody suggest me one? And the turbocharger too if you don't mind. Q:I have an old generator that the motor doesn't run. I want to salvage the generator head and make something like a wind, steam, or bio diesel generator I haven't made my mind up yet. But for now I need to dismantle the head from the motor. I think it has some kind of a ratio box on it too I'm not sure I've never done this before.
