This series of diaphragm pump is a latest model now at home. It is suitable for various corrosive,highly viscid, volatile, inflammable, explosive and virulent liquid, liquid containing grains, enamel slurry, mashed fruit and glue, and can pump completely in the recovery of bottom oil in oil tankers and temporary tank emptying etc. Its performance parameters are close to Germany WLLDENPUMPS and US MARIOWPUMPS. - Q: If there were no water at the discharge of a pump and then you had just fed water through and measured the pressure of the gauge...would that be a different pressure if the whole system (both inlet and outlet) were continuously filled with water?
- 1.If there is no water at the discharge of the pump then there can be no pressure. 2. If there is water at the discharge of the pump, but the pump is not running, then there will be a pressure in the system. 3. If the pump is running, the pressure in the system will be higher than at 2.) above becuse it takes additional pressure to move the water through the piping. The flowing water requires additional pressure to get thru the piping system.

- I just had this problem in my boat.. It was my filter clogged up.
- Q: can't get the pulleys to line up I know I have a mid 70's 400 and the water pump is later than 1969 but I can't find a pulley that works every one is about a half inch off I bought a aftermarket set of underdrive pulley's from march performance and still the same problem the water pump is a half inch off there was no long or short water pump right they are all the same lenght right??? The only difference I know of is that pre 1968 the pumps have a 8 bolt design and after they have a 11 bolt design is that right???
- Actually there was two main pumps for the older ones,, one was called a short shaft,,and one was called a long shaft,,the long shaft was the most popular,and it all depends on whether your car had power steering,,and air conditioning on it,,all the ones that used the long shaft usually had air,,and power steering on them also,,also some of them had a smog pump on them,,this was the main reason they used the long shaft,,most of the smog pumps got taken off and discarded down through the years,,but you still had to use the pump that had the long shaft,,this is the problem your having,,i own a repair shop in Tennessee,,and have been redoing some old cars in the past few years i to have run across the same problem you are having,,you can have a long shaft ordered for you ,,and it will work fine,,i had to use the long shaft on the one i was redoing hope this helps some.
- Q: What is the difference between a High Flow Water Pump, Heavy Duty Water Pump or and Electrical Water Pump for a street rod? I have a 77 Camaro with around 410hp with the factory A/C. The Camaro is stock as body, frame and interior. I want to enjoy the car vs racing it. I would like to go on trips to visit family out of town which is around 300 miles and be able to drive the car with out having over heating problems.
- the key to keeping a car cool isn't the size of rad but water flow and air flow.elec.are for race cars and cubic dollar cars stock works for me or aftermarket high flow.and good fan that pushes allot of air.
- Q: This only happens while I am running water. I can hear the pressure switch clicking on and off the whole time I am doing dishes, laundry, ... Since it is only when the water is running I believe that means it is not a leak. I changed the check valve and that did not fix the problem. I checked the pressure in the tank and it seemed to be around the 20/40 mark. Any other ideas anyone?Thanks.
- It sounds like the bladder in your pressure tank has ruptured.
- Q: Water pump. A drip on the edge of the pump or drip on the ground. Serious concern on which one?
- if its starting to drip coolant from it and it isn't a gasket you need to replace it ,they don't last to long once they start to leak,you can look at it and tell where the leak is coming from,i have seen a few on occasion that was leaking from the gasket where somone had replaced them and not got a good seal back on it,but most of the time your looking at repalcing the water pump,depending on what its on it can be a big job to do,good luck.

- The self-priming condition of the centrifugal pump is that a small water tank is attached to the pump body. Don't use water every time you start. No suction, no water tank. And the use of volumetric Self-priming pumps, such as car cleaning, high-pressure pumps are in this category.
- Q: Even when all water is shut off in the camper, my water pump keeps running. Even when the tank is completely empty. Does anyone know what is causing this?
- I might be miss-understanding your question. If you have no water in the tank then the pump will run all the time because you won't build enough pressure in the system to shut it off. There should be a switch to turn it off manually. If your system has water in it and pump still won't shut off then it could be several different things: 1. Pump is bad and leaking internally... do you have good pressure at the faucet? 2. There should be a pressure cut-out switch somewhere near the pump. This switch should shutoff the pump when the ideal pressure is reached and prevent the pump from over pressurizing the system. Make sure it is not stuck closed. (May have to remove to test) Check for continuity across the terminals with pressure with the pressure on and off. If it doesn't' change... replace. 3. You could have a leak somewhere in the system not allowing the system to build pressure. 4. There may be a pressure relief valve somewhere in the system that is stuck open and dumping your pressure back into the suction side of the pump. Good Luck!

- your question is not clear, do you need to build the pump from scratch or you should find one? what is the water flow rate? how high the water need to go? what the helmet has to do with the problem? simplest solution will be to go to the store and buy small hand pump (for fuel).
