Q: I have a ninja 250r and I recently start hearing Squeaking noises while I ride it and its getting worst and worst every day the faster i go the louder it get, I don’t really know where is the noise coming from and My front Brake Lever makes click sound when I pull it?? I just want to know what the problem is and how to fix it?
Get rid of the mouse underneath your seat and it will probably go away.
Q: It just started this weekend. I have been riding in the mountains and when I began coasting down the hills, my bike would begin to wobble. It only seems to do this when I am using the back brake slightly or when I am coasting without holding the clutch in. I also see that the back wheel has no wheel weight on it and wonder if thats the problem. Help me out.
Place the bike on a stand, center-stand if applicable. Check - for any loose spokes, side-play from axle to rim, loose axle nuts, proper alignment of rear wheel to frame and - you didn't mention how old the tires were!? If they are more than five years old and subjected to ups downs in usage and weather, they may be out of whack also. The balance weights loss would only effect forward movement, the wobble is something else.
Q: Go home, and want to buy a woman's motorcycle, should pay attention to those matters, and hope friends to write detailed point Oh
Yamaha has a pedal, displacement 100. Very nice and not expensive! There are models of yellow more suitable for women!
Q: I wear dresses frequently. Is it unsafe if I rode my motorcycle side saddle and avoided using the rear brake?
Galvanized steel will rust and corrode even though it is galvanized ( a layer of zinc is applied to the steel to resist corrosion upon the steel). So after 40 years your galvanized water pipe will have a pretty good layer of rust and corrosion and joints may begin to leak after a time. It definitly is not neccessary to change the water piping just because you have galvanized steel. However depending on the age of the house the pipes may be nearing the end of their lifespan - so to avoid a leak which could cost much because of flood damage - you would be wise to change the piping over before that point. So it's not absolutely neccessary but it is recommended if the galvanized steel is quite old (like say 35 years or more). If you are going to change the piping you will want to use PEX tubing nowadays instead of copper. It's safe for drinking water, 3 times as fast as copper because with copper each joint needs to be heated and soldered, and as a result is much cheaper- also cheaper because copper in itself is quite expensive. Depending on the size of the home (multi-level/crawlspace/attic/open or finished basement etc.) you could be looking at anywhere from $1500 CDN to $5000 or more. Generally the more access we have the quicker and cheaper it will be. A smallish rancher with a nice open crawlspace would be about $1500 and take a couple of days for one plumber to re-pipe. And hey, if you lived in Victoria BC Canada I could do it for you. lol. Have a nice day. As far as PEX being no good for UV exposure and having high maintenance costs - that is only if the plumber is too cheap to buy the red and blue UV resistant stuff.
Q: Do i need a motorcycle license to ride a 49cc pocketbike legally in michigan?
Definition of a Motorcycle A motorcycle is a two- or three-wheeled motor vehicle with a saddle or seat that produces more than 2.0 brake horsepower and can attain speeds greater than 30 mph on a level surface. Some vehicles, such as pocket rockets or mini choppers, may meet this definition, but do not have all of the equipment required by Michigan law to legally drive them on public roads and will not be registered by the Department of State. www.michigan /sos/0,1607,7-127. 257.32b “Moped” defined. Sec. 32b. “Moped” means a 2- or 3-wheeled vehicle which is equipped with a motor that does not exceed 50 cubic centimeters piston displacement, produces 2.0 brake horsepower or less, and cannot propel the vehicle at a speed greater than 30 miles per hour on a level surface. The power drive system shall not require the operator to shift gears. www.legislature.mi /(S(3j2m0i2. No license reqiured. It won't be registered by the state. It's not a moped. To ride a pocket bike (even a super pocket bike) legally, you must ride on private property with the owner's permission. Might as well get a dirt bike.
Q: Ok i‘m turning 15 in September and I really want to learn to ride a street bike, so when I can get a motorcycle licence, I‘ll already have some riding experience. I wanted a 125cc but apperently they are only available in every other country but ours. So i want to start with a 250 Ninja and use it till I graduate. But I feel like that‘s still to big for me.Is there any good beginner bikes I can get under 250cc that are street legal?? Oh and no automatic please, gotta get used to clutch if im gonna be riding a Ninja!
The engine size is not the problem with the Ninja 250. You really don't want to start on a sport bike, as they are a bit touchy at the throttle (as you'd expect), which makes it tough to build good riding habits quickly. Look for a 250-500 cc bike, preferably in a standard style (the old Honda Nighthawks were a perfect example of this style). If this isn't easily available, the next best choice would be either a street-legal dirt bike or a cruiser style. These bikes would all be fairly easy to learn on, and will let you build on the habits you'll learn in your motorcycle course. I know you're probably not planning to take a course, but do it. 87% of motorcycle accidents in the US (and I assume similar statistics would apply elsewhere) involve motorcyclists with no formal training and less than 6 months of experience on their current motorcycle. You should be able to find a one-weekend class that will give you some good basics to build on, and help make sure you know the proper way to brake, steer, and swerve (there's more to each of these than most of us know before training).
