FAQ of DIN Standard Close Coupling End Suction Pump (XAZ)
1. If I increase the power of the motor, must I also increase the power of the inverter? You must select the size of converter that allows maximum absorption of the electric motor.
2. Do you have pumps with grinders?
Yes, the WQ models.
3. How long is your warranty?
Unless otherwise expressly authorized in writing, by specifying a longer period or different conditions, CNBM states that, for a period of twelve (12) months from delivery date, all Products supplied are free from defects in materials and workmanship, and conform to the applicable specifications. - Q: I'm trying to make water pump with solar energy. I need to have good water pump. Could you find good websites to find DC 12v water pump, or is there any place that I can get it?
- Think okorder /... On the first page alone, there are half a dozen good-looking websites.
- Q: can a failing water pump sound like rattling or popcorn until the motor begins to over heat? the sound is nearthe waterpump. it goes away once the temp starts to overheat.the temp will get near redline then go down to normal and then start creeping up again. thanks for any replies.
- it sure can.
- Q: I have a 2002 honda civic with 85k miles the dealer says the timing belt should be replaced. But with the water pump timing belt tensioner also have to be replaced???
- The timing belt drives the water pump in your car. To replace the water pump, you have to remove the timing belt. When you are having the timing belt replaced, it makes sense to also replace the water pump. There is very little additional labor to do so, as the timing belt is already removed. You do not have to do so, but if you do not, and the water pump subsequently fails, you will be paying the full labor charge to replace it rather than just the cost of the part. As to the belt tensioner, I would replace that because it is a wear item, and if it fails it can cause a timing belt failure. If you are going to risk the timing belt failing (and causing major damage to the engine) you might as well not have the belt replaced. I would never replace a timing belt without also replacing the water pump and tensioner. It is false economy to do so.
- Q: I have a 1985 Jaguar XJ6 that runs great, that I was thinking about trading for a 1991 Alfa Romeo 164 that needs a water pump. Just wanted to get feedback from Alfa owners and find out how hard it would be to put a water pump in the car. Thanks
- About $130.00 for the water pump (first link below). As for the difficulty, take a look at the second link for a good thread on replacing the water pump on the 164.
- Q: I have a 2001 2500HD duramax and it is leaking antifreeze under the truck. I leaks a a drop every second what could be causing this
- If you can narrow down the location to being from the actual water pump and not a line, It would be the seal in the water pump. The only option is to replace the water pump.
- Q: The difference between submersible pumps and centrifugal pumps
- Difference:The installation position is different: one can discharge water, one is on the ground.Working principle: different submersible pump principle similar electric fan, centrifugal pump by centrifugal force makes the water thrown out. According to the design principle of centrifugal force, high speed rotation of the impeller blades to drive the liquid will rotate out of the liquid, so as to achieve the purpose of transportation. There are many medium for transportation, such as oil, water, chemicals and so on. The pump shaft and the motor shaft are of the same shaft, the pump and the motor are made into an integral body and immersed in water. The medium of transportation is water.
- Q: I am creating a project where I must pump water to a helmet. If you have any ideas, thoughts, solutions, diagrams, etc. please? thanks
- your question is not clear, do you need to build the pump from scratch or you should find one? what is the water flow rate? how high the water need to go? what the helmet has to do with the problem? simplest solution will be to go to the store and buy small hand pump (for fuel).
- Q: Help?Water is to be pumped to the top of a skyscraper. If the pump can create a gauge pressure (pressure above atmospheric pressure) of 8.50E+5 Pa, what is the height of the tallest building that it can service? DATA: g=9.8 m/s^2

- Q: I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out why? Problems started when our car overheated due to neglecting to refill the coolant a while back. The coolant tank got cracks in it and we had to replace it- but now the water pump is leaking, says my husband- should we just replace the water pump or could this be a bigger problem? Why is it leaking all of a sudden now? (please no snarky rude answers , I'm looking for help not to be scolded! Yes we neglected to add more coolant-- damage is already done so don't bother making a ridiculous comment about it!)Thanks!
- it is just a coincidence but quite possibly the water pump was leaking before and that caused the coolant loss in the first place. Having the tank loosing it's coolant wouldn't cause the overheating it is only a reservoir for the extra coolant. The cooling system only takes from it when it needs it and if your system boils over will push it there rather than the ground.
- Q: I'm looking to build a fountain to dispense Wine. For which, I'll need a pump. I'm thinking submersible aquarium pump. I'm concerned about after tastes, and general safety of this venture. Can you drink water that's been run through an aquarium pump?Would alcohol be any different? Is there a better choice? What would it be?
- It wouldn't be a good idea to use a water feature pump or aquarium pump due to the lubrication on the Impeller which can contaminate the wine and make it taste weird. Ofc, if you're going to use enough wine then a small water feature pump will work without changing the taste, either way it is safe enough to drink. Your best bet though would be (something like) a chocolate fountain, but without the heater. Edit: as strange as this may sound, another idea is to use an air pump with an air stone inside a peice of tubing. This is commonly known as a sponge filter, where the uplift from the air rising pushes the liquid up.
