The best looking high wear carpet I have seen or installed is a frieze. It's also called California berber, California shag, or short shag. It has a tall, but loose pile and is very soft, especially if you put a heavy odo-ban pad underneath. I've noticed that salt and pepper or similar light/dark patterns look best in large areas. Also, frieze hides seams well, which is good if you have a large room.

Q: I had my boss come over for dinner last night and his 15 year olD pooped on my rug and it stinks how can i get the stain out: try some diaper soaker .first try iit onsome part oof the rug that can't be seen in case it takes the colour of the rug out .then use it carefully ,not too much soaker.about half a cup in a litre of water get as much of the poop off as you can before you start then gently drawing the stain to the center from each side dab on the diaper soaker. you will need to put the soaker in some warm water. when you think you have got it cleaned up get a micro cotton towel and put it over the stain and stand on it .this will soak up most of the water .you may have to repeat this to get it all out .

Q: if you want more detail just ask :): I live in Aus so floating a horse to me would be taking it somewhere. Dependent on how the horse is floating can determine the kind of rug. IE: i have an arab that will get on the float but he is a nervous wreck the whole trip. So i will generally put either a really thin cotton on if its a bit chilly or just float him naked because he sweats like a pig. We also have a quarterhorse that is not phased by the situation at all. So he can be in a rug that is a little thicker when it becomes colder, as we know he wont freak out and drip sweat.
