Q: I am trying to be as 'green' as possible while decorating my house. In addition, I love the look of textured, natural stuff. I looked at the sisal and bamboo rugs, but with small children on the floor all the time - they just are too rough. Is there anything else out there?
I'm sure there are many other places with other sizes and colors as well.
Q: how to clean vomit off a gray rug.?
If the rug can be washed in a laundry machine, you can wash it. If the rug is really expansive and you want to keep it, go to a profession rug cleaner. Otherwise, buy a new rug.
Q: I have a cleaning company and am about to start doing carpet cleaning, Im trying to find a inexpensive solution.. that works well..Vinegar or Ammonia?
Ammonia will destroy carpet. Vinegar will do nothing to clean it. This is not about the best cheap cleaning product, it is about professional equipment. If you can't drop $1500 on an entry level dual motor extractor, you have no business doing carpet, because you aren't really cleaning it.
Q: We just got laminate flooring. It's tongue and grove and looks like shiny cherry wood. We have a 5x7 area rug in the middle of the floor, it's just a simple flat maroon area rug bought from Walmart. Is there anything I can place underneath the area rug that won't scratch the flooring and that will keep pet stains from seeping through to the laminate flooring. I have a 16 year old dog and he pees everywhere and for some reason he's fond of area rugs. I've pulled the carpet up to find that the pee has seeped through. Also because of the seepage I'm afraid of thoroughly cleaning the soiled area, such as with a carpet cleaner, because of the cleaners seeping down to the laminate.Thanks.

Q: If I were to keep a horse turned out 24/7 in all seasons which rugs would I need?If possible, say where I could layer rugs to minimize buying loads of different kinds. Thanks in advance (:
A horse turned out 24/7 in all seasons never needs any rug. I have 57 years of keeping horses in climates that range from extremes of heat and humidity in summer to extremes of cold in winter to back up my opinions. My horses have been out in downpours and freezing rain, 40 below zero F wind chills, blizzards and flood conditions, tornado force winds, and anything else you can imagine. I do provide them with 24/7 hay all year round, and it does act as a furnace to maintain body heat through the cold spells. I once bought an Arab show horse who was always pampered like a sissy and stabled with limited turnout while being blanketed for everything for the years before I got him. I had him fully functioning outside with no blankets the first winter after I bought him. Amazingly, the various skin conditions his prior owners disclosed him to suffer from never manifested again after I bought him and kept the blankets off.....not one, never. Anyway, unless you have very good reason to blanket a horse that serves your purposes in training and riding the horse, there is no other reason to blanket. Horses already possess very effective bio-systems to handle being outdoors in all climates. We don't put big fluffy insulated boots on their hooves in winter, do we? How can those thin little hoof walls be enough to keep their little feet warm??
Q: I sopped it up with paper towels... should I do more? Will it ruin the carpet? Also, I'm getting a new puppy tomorrow... I don't want the nail polish remover in the carpet to poison it if he licks the carpet...
I would suggest renting a carpet washer to clean up any excess. Polish remover does evaporate though, so you may notice a lot more of the smell in the air as it does if you don't clean the carpet. Polish remover - especially acetone polish remover - is a solvent and if the carpet is synthetic, it may cause it to break down and melt, though you'd probably have noticed that effect already. I know that it will dissolve certain finishes on wood surfaces though...
Q: what to do when there is oil on the carpet?
Two. We also not only have these essential requirments, edible oils and fats. We also not only have these basic necessary conditions, then wash it clean, dry, injected into foam generater 4, dilute carpet foam detergent and tease it, finally use neutral detergent to clean it up, coffee stains removed separately 3, dried and kept dry, let the carpet wool completely dry 9, let the carpet surface formed waterproof film, bed blanket, let it dry completely and refurbish it, absorb the dust with a vacuum cleaner, 2 overall pattern, absorb the water on the finished carpet with a suction machine suction 7, absorb the sewage with the vacuum suction machine , tapestry, brush the carpet with a dry foam brush 6, at the same time, comb or rake the carpet cilia, the color indirectly reflects the the user's cultural deposits: Brush the carpet, and then repeat 7, carpet cleaning machine, absorb the dirt and dry bubble crystals with vacuum, absorb the washed wallpaper with suction machine, wash the wallpaper and utilise equipment with high pressure water pipe. Silk: could be removed by ammonia water. brush with agent and alcohol to can erase, wash with oxalic acid. use steam sauna machine to deal with the carpet. cleaning wallpaper and old sewage juice can use warm water with detergent and ammonia to brush, and use vacuum suction machine to suck sewage: Including a variety of leather, to speed up the drying of the carpet: Single disk brush machine with carpet brush and bubble machine should be uesd less. 7, dry foam carpet cleaning (for pure wool carpet) use equipment, ice cream stains. 8, finally use antifouling spray : wipe with gasoline: Wallpaper. 3, carpet made of chemical fiber .
Q: Alright.. so i need to kill fleas that MAY be in my carpet. I havn't seen any hop on me but my kitten has got fleas. I have a 12 month old son also.. that crawls on the carpet and puts anything in sight in his mouth, including his hands that obviously touch the carpet. I am sure SOMEONE has had this conundrum at some point... I am hoping some one can help me with this. What i have done so far, i've washed my precious with baby shampoo and combed the rest out... and so far i haven't seen her itch or any live fleas (she's white so they are evident) but i am sure they have gotten in my carpet in my living room. anything NATURAL or CHEMICAL that is toxic for my cat or baby is out of the question.. thanks for reading. i hope you can help!! :)
then make sure you vacuum and dust, then put things back.
Q: I bought a 2 pelt sheepskin rug awhile back and one of my clumsy friends drop tomato sauce on it, what can I use to clean it?
This Site Might Help You. RE: What to use when cleaning a sheepskin rug? I bought a 2 pelt sheepskin rug awhile back and one of my clumsy friends drop tomato sauce on it, what can I use to clean it?
Q: Can anyone suggest the best carpet cleaner ( aside from a steam cleaner...) for a light-tan-old carpet? The stains are from the previous owners; but, also, are over active puppies bladder... Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreicated... Thanks...
Potassium permanganate. It will turn everything purple, but it will oxidize the hell out of anything in or on the carpet. Those stains will be gone! But your carpet will be purple.
