- Q: For example i have the Pelican xbox 360 av and power cables not the microsoft kind. So as i heard does it make a difference like does the intercooler still eventually melt in to your xbox 360 or will it stay normal? I ask this question because my niece also has an xbox 360 and while my 360 was getting repaired i came over to play her 360, when i plug in the intercooler it worked fine but i had a little trouble pulling the power brick cord out of the intercooler and hers is microsoft av and power cables, but when i pull my Pelican power brick cable out of my intercooler it came out easily, no trouble at all. So thats why i wanted to ask the question.

- This most likely isn't a windows 7 problem at all. It's more likely there would be some damage to the internals of your power cable at some place. Usually if there is, it's in the connecting end or the power conversion box. I would try a replacement cable first if you can. If you don't' have one, take it to a pc shop and see if they can use a test adaptor. If theirs works, it's the adaptor. If theirs doesn't, it's then more likely the power port on your pc is damaged.

- Power cable? You mean AC Adaptor? Well, you need an NES AC adaptor and an NES RF Switch. The RF Switch is that little gray box with the coax screw on it. If your tv (or whatever you're plugging the console into) doesn't have the old analog plugs that a coax cable can screw in to, then I don't know of any other solution?

- It is a BAD idea to run speaker wires and AC power wires in parallel. It wont cause a fire or harm anything - but you may notice a 60 hz hum or noise in your system if power is flowing through the power wires at the same time you are listening to your system. If this happens - then you need to re-run your speaker wires away from the power wires.

- I don't think you can, really... Modular power supplies come with cables, they are not one size fits all, every brand and even every model might have different cables and plugs.
