Q: got 1 amp in the back,i want to add another amp at the front without a distrubuter, could i trail another power cable from the battery to the amp?
You could either get a second battery or use a distribution block
Q: its 6pin power cable on vga if we went really connect to psu if i not connect to that it ll happen something ?if i want to connect psu or mother board?
The question was not making sense to me. 1. If you wanted to know if you wont connect any power cable to the video card will it work. No It will not work. The video card has its own power requirement hence it has to be connected to six pin PCIe power. If you don't have one of those in your power supply then then you have a molex to 6 pin power connector. 2. If you want to know if the PCI'e power connector canbe connected somewhere else the answer is no. 3. The graphic card can only be installed in PCIe X16 slot. Hope it helps Rocky :)
Q: So I've had my laptop for about a year and a half now and I've gone through 4 power cables, 3 non-factory. What happens with each one is, I plug it in, the blue light surrounding the hole turns on, the end of the power cable that plugs into my laptop gets super hot and either melts the power cable, or when I plug the cable in, the light won't come on unless I have it in just right. This usually starts to happen between one and three months after I get a new cable. It's starting to go through them faster now, any ideas?
you have a power short in the computer that's why it is getting to hot and melting the cables, get it seen to immediately
Q: I'm about to order everything to put a new sound system in my Jeep Wrangler and I've been planning the locations to run new wires and cables. I got to looking at the area's where I could run the power cable for the amp and have come to 2 conclusions. I could either drill a hole in a very difficult to reach but hidden area behind the dash and try to hide the cable on the interior of the Jeep all the way to the rear where the amp is.. or, I could run the cable inside the hollow frame rails (which have many pre-drilled holes to slip the cable in and out of) under the Jeep and then just drill a hole to the interior in an easy to reach location near the amp. My only concern is that the cable's insulation will breakdown and crack prematurely due to exposure to water and road salts.. is this a real risk if I run the cable on the exterior of the vehicle? Or will the cable hold up just as well as any other cable such as those in the engine compartment? Thanks for your help!
I have installed a system for a friend in high school, and he INSISTED i run it under the car. We ran the cable up through a rubber drain plug/grommet in the trunk area. Just check the wiring yearly to make sure its still in good condition. Wire takes a LOT of heat and other elements of the weather under the hood, a good quality wire should last for a good amount of time running outside the vehicle.
Q: It never occurred to me that the power cable -- the one connected from the outlet to the laptop's AC brick -- is rated at quot;125V - 7Aquot;. Does that mean it won't be able to handle the 240V in some countries? The brick itself is rated 100V - 240V, so it can be used internationally. In fact, I spent a year in France, where I used my Dell Inspiron just fine (with a prong adapter so it'll fit into the socket). The reason why I'm paying attention to the power cable is because the cable for my Nikon D80 battery charger has a quot;USsticker on it. The charger itself can handle 240V, but does this mean the cable cannot?
You will need to purchase an Adapter. Also you will need to check the power supply on your system and make sure it can handle the voltage difference. Most can, but all brands and models differ, and that could be a real issue. Be sure to check you users guide for this info (if no user guide, then go to manufacturers web site).
Q: Hello, I am looking to purchase a single power connector for 5 hard drives. I have a modular 1200W power supply, and all i can find on website is these single power connecters that do not even look like they will connect to my power supply. My computer came with power connectors for 4 hard drives in single cables. I do not want to waste another Power supply slot for just 1 more hard drive. Can anybody tell me how to search for this? Thank you.
exactly what PSU do you have? I am sure if it's a nice modular PSU you can always contact the manufacturer and order some extra modular cables that fit the drive type you are looking for (just make sure the cables you do have will fit into those sockets - they should). I am surprised a 1.2KW PSU didn't come with connectors for 12 hard drives or more. the reason why there's only 4 on one is because that's all the power that channel can handle. you shouldn't overload it. calculate the load for one channel (V*A=W) using hard drive or device power specs, and IF you think there's enough extra power for one more, then stick a splitter on a connector if one is available. it's best to leave some extra Amperage headroom. if you don't want to go through the load calculations, or can't, then just use another cable. but don't simply use a splitter because it's available. you will have to look at PSU rails specs to see what each rail can handle for those modular connectors. try simply looking at the 12V and 5V alone or just the 12V.
Q: What does the watt rating mean on amp power cables?
in a lot of cases - not much. The name brands usually mention only total RMS power rating, and those are fairly trustworthy. But the off brands often use peak power ratings. That can mean many things from wiring kit to wiring kit, and lots of other things when you compare one amp to another. So if you're looking at an off brand wiring kit I would advise looking past the power rating and see what size fuse is included with it. That's the best way to know the actual current the wire can handle, and you can figure that for every 100A you're good for about 1000w rms.
Q: Honda Accord Executive on a 56' reg car.Fitting help much appreciated.
Probably not easy but if ya find the hole in the firewall underneath ya dash somewhere than just poke it through there and run it underneath ya carpet. After that u'll just be able to find ya way into the boot with no problem. I like running the power cable down the centre of the car but that can sometimes be more of a hassle than its worth, so along the side of ur seat is cool.
Q: i am hooking up my system tomorow and im really not sure where to drill a hole in the firewall to run my 4 AWG cable any suggestions any pictures would be helpful thanks!
Check first for any factory made holes that are not in use or have extra space to be used. If you are explorer is anything like my Taurus I would say somewhere near where your steering wheel connects to the firewall. But it will be kinda risky around that area since you would have to be careful for your power steering.
Q: What is the concept of power cable middle head? What is the difference between a terminal and a terminal?
Cabling in the integrated wiring system according to the network topology diagram to configure how to connect, no network topology is unable to give the correct connection.
