- Q: I bought a Zmodo CCTV system. The system came with 60' of cable,so I purchased some 165' cables.I would like to have more, but I can't find anything longer than 165' anywhere. Is that the longest size that they manke?Thank you
- you can buy power cables for a cctv system from global sparenparts private limited.
- Q: How long is the service life of the cable?
- For corrosive environments, cable trays with suitable corrosion resistant coatings should be used
- Q: i have the computer powersupply 400w and i dont know what cable to connect to the car stereo???
- if you have a volt meter eather of the black wires are ground you will see a red and a yellow one is 5 volts and the other is 12 volts the 12 volts wire paired with one of the black wires will power your car audio
- Q: i dont even know what phantom power is. i bought a behringer c-1 mic and ii think i need phantom power.is it a cable. i just wanna connect it to my laptop via usb or audio input jack...plz helpthnanks
- If okorder /... So to answer your question, just use a regular USB cable. Your computer will provide the phantom power and there is no special cable you need.
- Q: im hooking up a system in my truck..im doing it the redneck way they way i have watched my dad do it many of many of times. im using jumper cable wire!! yes jumper cable wire, its plenty of juice the perfect size! but im not sure if he ever used a fuse link.do you have too? what if i dont use one? if so where is the cheapest place to get it?what size fuse is it?
- Any wire that you connect to your battery should have a fuse, located as close to the battery terminal as possible. Without a fuse, a short circuit on the wire could result in a fire. Most car audio stores should have fuses and fuse holders available. The size of the fuse depends on the size of the wire. An 8-gauge wire can be fused up to 50 amps; if your wire is 4-gauge, then you can go up to 120 amps or so.
- Q: Does anyone know if this PSU comes with a power cord/cable? I can't find an answer for this.
- Psus usually come with one, if not the cable is universal and is dirt cheap
- Q: My setup is an alpine MRX-M100 powering 2 alpine type R 12's on 4 ohm, and also an old eclipse PA 5422 speaker amp. The main thing is I have 4 gauge running from my battery to my amps, but I have this sort of distribution block that turns the 4 gauge wire into 2 8 gauge wires. I know that this probably isn't the best for the MRX-M100, but it's all I had or what I could afford at the time. The main thing I wanted to ask was is this bad for the amp, and what would it be like if I had 0 gauge coming off the battery so then it would be 4 gauge going to the amps? Would it be louder? Could I turn it up higher? because right now if I turn up the volume past a certain point the subs will just stop playing. If I just shut off my head unit and turn it back on they start up again. Your thoughts and recommendations would be appreciated!
- okay alot of 4 gauge amp kits are not legit 4 gauge ive seen some more like 10 gauge of actual wire if you have legit awg wire you should be fine but you should have another 4 gauge strand to the alpine amp Id also recommend the big 3 upgrade your power will be increased greatly... if you want to run a 0 gauge you can but you could also just run another 4 gauge wire also make sure your grounds are sufficant because they shouldnt shut off either way
- Q: I'm new to PCs and I recently bought a Dell Optiplex 745 desktop PC but it came without cables. I thought I had the correct power cord but it turns out I gave it away to friends. I have the power cable that you plug into the wall which has the standard PC kettle plug (the correct one for PCs not an actual kettle plug) that you'd usually plug into an adapter then into your PC but I'm not sure if you can just plug it in without the correct adapter. I have Googled but cant make head nor tail of it all. And by adapter I mean the cable with the little box that you usually plug into a device such as a PC, laptop or Xbox 360 before you connect the cable to the mains.Thanks.
- It all comes down to the amount of output that the pc is set to take. I would think that you would be fine without the adapter, assuming it already works. If you do decide to do this make sure you set up a surge protector, dont just plug it into the wall. A power surge could fry the internals and brick the pc.
- Q: i am going to establish a new power cable manufacturing business. i want to ask you what should i name to my business or what brand name should i adopt that is appopriate.
- follow the suggestions. Good Luck
- Q: Can I connect a single HDD and a DVD drive to the same SATA cable or will that draw too much power? I have 3 sata cables and a modular 850W PSU so I could use another cable if I needed to.
- Hi, No you can only have one hard drive or cd drive per sata data cable. Do you perhaps mean a power cable, if so yes that should be OK. Arnak
