It still came on again. I went to take it off. Guess what? Q: I had it checked already and fixed the problem but there are no more errors or codes. Just need to reset system and turn off engine light. If not I can‘t pass emissions.: Once you've established the cause of all codes being recieved by the ECU, and made the necessary repairs, you'll need to attach an OBD II scan-tool to the connector located beneath your steering wheel and erase all codes. Q: 2003 Ford Expedition 5.4L The overdrive light begins to flash only at low rpms (less then 1000) or at a stop. Once the rpms go above 1000 or so the light turns off. Its also not consistent. Sometimes its after it warms up, other times it turns on almost immediately. The transmission doesn‘t slip, it doesn‘t jerk or clunk. Other then the light turning on now you would never know there is an issue The mechanic that we took it to, said it was a fluid sensor, but we couldn‘t afford to fix it at the time. But now we no longer know exactly which sensor to change. I know its in the pan, because they suggested changing the filter at the same time, since they had to remove the pan anyways. I‘ve looked for any and all sensors, but none that i have seen seem to fit the description of a fluid sensor. Which sensor is the likely culprit? Any help would be appreciated.: well when the light comes on it leaves a code the code would help to determine what it is. no fluid sensor. there are two different transmissions used it. depending on which 5.4 used a 16 valve or 24 valve design. get back to us with that code its in the system since the light doesn't always come on. auto zone does the scan for nothing
