Q:ENGINE LIGHT ON AND WON‘T PASS EMISSIONS IT IS NOT IN THE MANUAL OR 20.00 BOOK I BOUGHT AT AUTO ZONE IT ‘S DIAGNOSTIC PRINTED OUT THIS MESSAGE OF A MALFUNCTION OF THIS PART??? HELP: That depends on which part of the system you need. The most common problem in that system it the secondary air injection pump. It is located under the vehicle kind of in a little corner between the frame rail and crossmember. Because they are under the truck, they tend to get dirt, debris, and moisture in them which causes them to go bad. Another common failure that we see where I work is people drive the vehicle through deep water and the pupm gets full of water and shorts out. Anyhow, there are other parts to the system, but that is the most common to fail.

Q:I‘ve checked the coolant level and its fine and the indicator still stays on, so im not sure if its electrical or not? Another question does anybody know where the canister is on the audi a4 99 1.8t wagon?: Sounds like your vehicle might have air trapped in the coolant system. I'm not a auto technician, but I seen cases where the coolant light appears on. You can try bleeding the air from the radiator. Here is some information that I found on maybe getting rid of any air in the coolant system. Again, I'm no auto technician. I try to pick-up a little information here and there. As far as bleeding the air,leave the radiator cap off until fully warmed up.If you have overfilled the radiator a little spillage will occur as the thermostat opens,this is normal.Since the cap is higher than the thermostat it should bleed the air out by itself.

Q:Fuel gauge was not registering and diagnostic could not find problem but mechanic installed the ELD sensor and this seemed to solve the problem with the fuel gauge although mechanic did not think there was anything wrong with fuel gauge. That problem was in February. This month I brought the car to dealer because of engine light. Q:Recently my tail lights have quit working. My brake lights still work.Recently my car was acting kinda weird. When I would use my turn signal for the first time, it would auto lock the doors. That stopped after about 4 days. then, when I turn on my lights, the fasten seatbelt light flashes and buzzes at me. Last weekend that stopped after about 4 days.I have checked the fuse box, the fuses under the hood, and the wires connecting to the tail light unit.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks: i own a shop and try looking on the left side tail light ,for a small box that clips on it,and has a wiring harness on it,this is a control unit for the rear lighting system,I'm not sure if they used it on all Suzuki,s but i think they did,and this thing will short out,and make the lights go crazy on it,Nissan used them also,and it caused a lot of problems,its not an expensive little unit ,but it can cause some real headaches in trying to trouble shoot a wiring problem,yours may not have one but if its there try getting a good used one from a junk yard and see if that doesn't fix it,good luck with it,i hope this helps.

Q:For MIG and Flux core welding, do you need a differently rated shade. We have a # 10, and don‘t know how to tell when we could need a darker shade like a 12 for example. Somewhere we read about looking at a bare light bulb to see if you can see the outline of it as an indicator of needing a darker shade. We are just learning about welding and would like to know when an auto darkening system is better and how to pick a good one.thanks: Light enough to see the puddle and the path to weld. I use a 9 for all welding. Most people use a 10 to 12. You do not need a different shade for different types of welding.
