- I've used cadd programs from the beginning of my programming career about 15 years ago. The coordinates may be points in a line, key points in describing an arc or a point on its own. The drawn lines you see on screen are based on user preferences such as colour, thickness, solid, dashed, etc. or something called a 'cell' for points. I would feel safe to say that probably any modern computer (laptop or desktop) is capable of running any cadd software package. The larger the cadd file, the more need there will be for memory and video card power but at that point, you'd more than likely know a lot more about the software not to have to ask. The output (printing) of cadd drawings can be done on any modern printer but often larger plotter-style devices are used to print out the drawing on large-format paper. Modern cadd software also has the ability to render drawings with surfaces and lighting to give the appearance of reality to the drawing which is the same kind of thing computer games do now to render ground, buildings, creatures, etc. In many ways, they're the same except cadd software is not interested in movement very much. - Q: I have a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria and when I started the car all the lights flashed [headlights, interior lights, dash lights] then went out. Now my headlights are not working nor is the turn signals. All I get when I turn the headlight switch is the interior dome light flash on and off. There is three positions on the headlight switch [off, parking lights, and on] and when I move it into either position in either direction there is a quick flash of the interior dome light. No headlights flash they just don‘t work, just the dome light and the light under the hood when you have the hood up. Any ideas?

- I wonder if you are looking at the right switch. There are usually two switches on the brake pedal - one for the brake lights and one for cruise control.

- Q: I have a McColloch HID Kit for about 3 yrs now with no issues. In the last couple months, the passenger side flickers sometimes when going over bumps(pot holes). I checked all connections and they seemed to be ok. Now, the headlights are not always coming on with the "Auto" headlights feature like it used to. The fog lights and marker lights come on but not the low beams. I have to turn the lights off and on again and then it will work. Thoughts PLEASE ?!
- You most likely need a new system. If they are not turning on all the time, it means the igniter is beginning to fail. The flickering is probably from bad bulbs, not the wiring. I've had the same issues before, and had to buy a new kit. See if McColloch will give you a deal, they are a pretty reputable company.
