Q: what are your feelings towards the press..like the media. do you think they are fair or are they bias-est? please be insightful..your opinion does count. feel free to share how you feel about the media and the pressp.sif possible share if you have had any experience with the media and how it affected you (positively or negatively)
The press should be non-bias. The press presents all sides so you, the reader, can make a decision based on what you think is best.
Q: Who originally started the Press one for English and is it required by law?
Press one for English was initiated when companies started communicating in other languages. I don't think it is required by law, but if a company wants business from people who do not speak English, it is in their best interest to communicate in a second language.
Q: Is it alright if I apply pressed powder or loose powder without using foundation/bb cream? Will it cover the pores and acne on my face?
relies upon. pressed powder may well be utilized with ladies with mild imperfection, like mild pimples marks and glaring pores interior the inverted t-zone section. in case you have a very undesirable case of pimples, it pressed powder does not suffice. for a on a daily basis look with extra insurance, attempt a tinted moisturizer then brush pressed powder ;) wish that helps.
Q: Also what's the best way to brew coffee in a French press?
medium to coarse grind. no more than 5 minutes. i'd recommend about 3 minutes. any more than 5 and you've got some really bitter coffee.
Q: For social studies I have to write why freedom of the press was important to the abolitionist movement but I don't know what freedom of the press is and the rights it gives us. Can anyone give me and easy to understand description of it?
Basically, freedom of the press means that you're allowed to express yourself freely in writing. For example, if you said something bad about the government in a piece of writing, you couldn't get punished by the government. Hope I helped! :)
Q: Last week, I was doing military presses incorrectly. I brought the bar down to touch my chest (which was extended outward), rather than around my chin. The neck day, I awoke with neck pain. I thought I may have slept in a bad position, but the pain increased until I could not move my head w/o a lot of pain that day. It's gotten better since then, but I still have pain. It goes from the bottom of the skull on my left, down my neck to my clavicle. Was it really from the military press, and what can I do? I am going to a doctor, but that may be a week or two away.
In a military press the bar should come down below your chin but it's possible you could have pulled a muscle by doing the press in bad form or got off balance. Might be a pulled/strained trapezius muscle. A good medicine for this type of pain is Naxproxen by prescription or Aleve over the counter.
Q: I am doing an avocado oil extraction research to compare the recovery rate of cold-pressed and hot-pressed extraction, and I would like to have more information about the two :)
chilly pressed = greater virgin the olives are seeded/pitted, then pressed w/o any warmth. that's chilly pressed ror EV. as quickly as that around has been executed, they collect up the squished olives, upload warmth, and press returned. greater oil is released using warmth and better rigidity. that's in basic terms olive oil.
Q: I work for a country-western media company and would like to get hold of press passes for an upcoming concert. Now this would be my first one, so what steps should I take to obtain a press pass?
Assuming you're actually a member of the press -- meaning you're going to write or broadcast something about the concert -- your first contact would be the concert promoter. They may be able to arrange press credentials, or they can put you in touch with the band's management. Be aware that having a press pass does not necessarily give you access to the performers. You can ask for an interview, but they're under no obligation to give you one. If you're not a member of the press, but just want to get backstage, you'll have to come up with a pretty convincing reason why you should be there.
Q: Does anyone know how much a beginner bench presses? And does anyone know and ways to tell when you need to move up on weight with your bench pressing?
Hey Michael! The average man who has not lifted weights before should be able to bench approx 60Kg or 130lbs (Strength wise) once they're familiar with the technique that is. Use the principle of 'progressive overload' to gauge when you should increase the weight -depending on your goals. e.g. 3 sets of 8-12 reps at your working weight is a good guideline for maximum muscle growth Start with a weight you can do for 3 sets of 8 reps Try to Increase your reps each workout When you can complete 3 sets of 12 reps increase the weight and start again 5lb increases are perfect for an exercise such as the bench press For strength 5 sets of 5 is the best routine and allows for heavier lifting Apply the same logic as above for progress Be careful, learn and practice good technique before worrying about the weight you're lifting (Start with just the bar and focus on technique is fine - don't let ego get you into trouble you'll be lifting heavy quickly enough) and always have a spotter for your working sets.Good Luck :-)
Q: The gym that I go to does not have any barbells (health and safety gone mad) for doing bench presses. But... they do have a chest press machine which is essentially the same as a bench press but you are sat up-right instead of lying down.Am I working the exact same muscle groups by doing a chest press, obviously I know it's working the pectorals and the triceps as a secondary muscle group so it is basically the same? Is either one better than the other? My other option if a chest press is not as good as a bench press, is to do a bench press in the gym just with 2 dumbbells as appose to a bar bell. Please give your thoughts...Thanks!
The Bench Press is better, that's why you hear a lot more about it on the internet and in the gym.
