- Q: I enjoy baking as a stress buster and I was curious if using a cookie press was difficult in any way (including clean up). I've never seen one in use, but thought it would give my cookies a unique appeal since I don't know many people who use one. I adore those old fashioned, European style cookies.
- No, they are not difficult to use, you just need to practice a little. I bought one last year at Christmas time, So I will give you a couple of tips: 1) Use the recipe that comes with the press. They made the machine, so they know what combination of ingredients will work best with their machine. Some cookie doughs are too stiff, some are too buttery etc. to work in the press you buy. After you learn to use the press, you can try adapting some other recipe. 2) Chill your cookie sheet. The dough will absolutely not stick to a warm sheet, which will cause you undue frustration. Chill it for a few minutes before you cook your first batch, but more importantly chill it between batches. I like to rinse mine with cold tap water until it is cool to the touch, then dry it really well and stick it in the freezer for a few minutes before making a second batch. 3) Get a good quality cookie press. I got a Wilton because it seemed easier to fill and it comes apart completely for cleaning.
- Q: I've had this problem for a long time, after I have to shut down by pressing the power button (Or because there is a power failure) my computer starts up again, goes into loading screen, and then goes into a black screen with options like Last Good Configuration and Safe Mode. I don't usually have to turn off my computer by switch, but it does come up one time or another, and it doesn't happen the first time, maybe 5 times or 4. I run an XP, Please help! Is it because of pressing the switch or is it something I did before? I don't think it's virus though.
- It's probably due to pressing the switch. Computers generally prefer to be switched of by the conventional method of start, turn off and shut down.
- Q: i am 17, 5ft8 and weights around 180, and i can bench 3~5 sets of 185 pounds for 5~8 reps. and my max is 225 pounds for 1~2 reps,, is there any way to increase my bench press? i have been bench pressed for long time. and i do rest my muscles and i also eat lots of proteins and work my whole muscle groups. is it possible for me to reach my max to 315~350 pounds?
- There are a few matters that you'll be able to do: !st of all you have to do a little heavies. Put a huge quantity of weight at the bar and feature any person spot you. You must now not be competent to push it. Do this after your whole exercise approximately four time to a five moment rely. At 205 I might advocate 245 or so. You have to do extra push up then you're already doing. If now not doin any then do a minimum of 50 each higher frame day. You additionally have to comprise dips and incline/decline press into your exercise. Diet may be essential. You have to consume healthful and have you ever devour 255 grams of protein an afternoon. This gets you higher and more potent. When you get a weight that you just believe comfy at reduce it to one million/two your frame weight.
- Q: what is a soldier allowed to do or say when they are approach by the press and how do they refer to?
- I am assuming that every military base is like Australia and any information given to the Press is done By a Public Relations Officer or equivalent I refused to talk to them after all the Rubbish printed about the Military In England related to Ban the Bomb Marches and how they were treated Fact Military On inside Fence Police and Protesters on outside and those on inside NEVER NEVER got in contact with Protesters the Americans Used Fire Hoses on anyone climbing on fence and were arrested for trespassing
- Q: I am looking to get into reloading. What brand press should I get? I want a press that will do it all, prime, re-size etc. Also is it better to get a full kit or build my own from different manufacturers like say and RCBS press, Lyman scale, and Lee dies etc. Please help.
- I'd get the full kit.A lot less hassle every thing at once.If I were to just getting into reloading I'd go with Lee, cheaper than the others but they work fine.If you start to really getting into it and are reloading a lot you can always upgrade. But if you don't like it or don't reload much you won't be out of a crap load of money.I reload so that's just my opinion
- Q: : I am looking for a french press coffee mug that is equipped to heat the water by plugging it into the 12V socket in a car. I want to be able to add water to the coffee in the mug. Plug it in. Plunge it. and have french pressed coffee. It seems like a simple principle... but I can't find any available. Does it not exist???!? Assuming that this is true... please recommend car coffee makers for someone traveling in a car. Thanks!!!

- Q: How many times has Her Majesty had to issue gag orders to the press since taking the throne?
- She's gagging to.
- Q: I can military press 100lb dumbbells (one in each hand) with ease. I've worked really hard to get up to this point, but......100lbs dumbbells are the heaviest that my gym has, so I have to move on to the barbell. Since the dumbbells isolate both shoulders, I should technically be able to military press more with the barbell than I should with dumbbells, right? Does starting off at 205 or 215 sound like a good idea? I've only been lifting (seriously) for about 2 years, so I'm still somewhat of a noob. Thanks!
- Yeah, you can probably do as much as 245 lbs even In my experience (and this is none scientific at all) but in my experience, when I use barbells instead of dumbells for exercises like that (bench press, overhead press, bent over rows) - the amount of weight I can add to each side is almost identical to the weight of the dumbbells. So by that logic, you could add 100lbs to each side of a barbell, making the weight 245lbs HOWEVER, the form is slightly different, so I would advice to start at an even 200 and focus on perfecting the form. be careful with the changes. Watch your chin (you have to move your neck out of the way) and watch your back - you have to squeeze your glutes so your lower back doesn't arch. Also watch the positioning of your hands on the barbell as its slightly different. A narrower grip will work your shoulders primarily, but hit your triceps quite hard. A wider grip will work your shoulders and your upper chest the most.
- Q: Assualt charges?my husband assaulted me and Ive left him and moved to another state but ive been talking to some people and they told that I should press charges even tho it happened in another state.is it possible?
- no you left a time slot in between now and the time it happened and you left the state you cant do anything but take him to civil court. and you dont press charges you file charges.
- Q: I was watching Martha Stewart and she had a guest with an interesting method of pressing roses, in which she would cut out part of the rose to be rid of a lot of the excess bulk, and then press it.I was wondering if anyone could give me specific instructions for how to do this, as I saw it a long time ago, and these roses had sentimental value (so I don't want to mess them up...).
- just press them the normal person non martha stewart way...it works fine, stick the roses in like a little sandwich bag but dont close it, like if its a ziplock, leave it open, and get a really big heavy book, usually a big a** bible works if you have one, and stick it right in the middle, leave it there for a few weeks.
