Q: I need some advice! For my wedding we will be borrowing tables and metal folding chairs. I already have the tables planned out with white tablecloths and a fuschia tulle runner down the center. My problem is the chairs are really ugly and I need a very cheap idea on how to cover those. We are on a really tight budget ($3,000 for everything)as we are paying for everything ourselves. I was thinking of buying some tulle for the chairs and ribbon, but I wanted to know if anyone would have any idea what that would cost per chair? My colors are fuschia, yellow and orange. Thanks!: Check for sales on sheets. One sheet set will cover four chairs. Another thing you can do is just make fabric covers for the chairs that are lining aisle or outside edges. The tops of the interior chairs would just need something for the backs which will save you a ton of fabric. They don't show up in before ceremony pics and will be covered by your guests' bodies during. You could dye or paint canvas or just cotton fabric. Mixing patterns of clearance material will look fine as long as they are in the same colors and will help add to the casual feel. Watch the paper and check online. Joann's and Hobby Lobby usually have a 40% coupon every few weeks that you can use on any item in the store, even on sale. This will save you a ton. If you are on their mailing lists they will send you some as well. I wouldn't use tulle unless you really need to. The chairs are going to show through it.

A male stands next to the wall far enough to place a chair between himself and the wall. Place a chair between the male and the wall. Have the male bend over and place his head against the wall with his back being almost straight. Then the male should try to pickup the chair and standup at the same time. 99% of the men can not do it since their center of gravity is in their upper body. So no matter how strong they are it should not matter. Have a female do the same steps as listed above. She should be able to do it pretty easily since her center of gravity is typically in the lower half of the body. We had to do this in high school as a test.

Q: I have a reception site booked at a church. Unfortunately they only have fold-up chairs. We want something nicer but are on a VERY small budget.Can we put slipcovers on fold-up chairs?: Yes you can, you just have to get the measurements right but they are not cheap... how about sashes for the chairs instead in a nice colour. They are cheaper where we live and brighten up the room. You could even have the coloured sash with a flower in the middle of the back of the chair where the bow is formed....

Q: How do you make a bean bag chair,do you think feathers would work,or how about a mixture of packaging peanuts and feathers...do i have to follow a patter...thank you :) MORGANLEA: you NEED the foam peanuts that are used in the bean bag chairs for it to WORK like a bean bag chair...feathers will NOT work, they don't 'spring back' nor do they remain 'fluffy'...you can get the beans at most hobby or fabric stores (or online if you google for them) and yes it's best to use a pattern...if you don't know what you're doing (and by the question I see you don't), READ and LEARN to use a pattern and the CORRECT materials for the job.

Q: There's a chair my grandma got at a garage sale, so its always been in really bad shape, but my dads been attached to it ever since she passed. The springs are starting to cut through the bottom of the chair and the filler (the stuff that gives the chair cushion) is beginning to go with it. Q: I bought this chair but it's hard for me to push the wheels in. Any tips??: Just put a small block of wood on the caster and tap it with a hammer. It will drive the shank of the caster into the hole and it will set itself. You are done. You don't want to hit the plastic wheel directly with a metal hammer because it could just snap off. Consumer ALERT!! You could just buy this type of chair at a 2nd hand store, spend $5.00 on a caster,and have a $199 chair in your house. People are so stupid.

Q: I can snowboard perfectly fine down the slopes, I have no problem with balance or turning or anything like that. But every single time I get off of a chair lift I eat s**t. I try and do everything the people tell me, I even got a grip on my board but my boots slips right off, and my board is shiny which again makes it super slippery. I have tried putting my foot against the back binding but again my foot just slips out of position as soon as my board touches down on the snow ramp thing.! In the end I had to ask the guy to stop the chair lift and let me off so I didnt injury myself some more. Please help we are going up again in a few weeks and I dont wanna stack every time. Thanks any help is appreciated.: Try halfway sticking your boot in the straps like how someone wears a shoe while stepping on the heel part, wearing it like a slipper. Try to hook your free foot on some loop (probably the backstrap). One thing that'll really help is if you tighten your front foot(the one that's strapped in)'s ankle muscles, that'll make the back more rigid and easier to work with. You could also try to lean backwards a little, so that you have more weight on the back foot, planting it in place. While riding up the lift, right before, knock off excess snow so that you decrease chance of slipping. Good luck.
