Q: I am redecorating my room. I really want a polka dot chair but I want a cheap one. If anyone can find a really cheap one online or for sale like on eBay or Criegslist that would be great!!!! here is the website of what i am looking for but MUCH cheaper.: Search local garage sales for a chair you like then buy a polka dot cover or some polka dot material and re-cover the chair, it will be cheaper and one of a kind.

Q: The green chairs are pretty bad. Not sure if I can find room in my budget for chair cover rental as this is a completely unexpected expense. Anyone have any suggestions or links to good DIY websites?: Do you know anyone who knits or sow you could make pillow cushions out of some old pretty fabric they don't have to all look alike just have to be part of your wedding theme. You could also tie a beautiful elegant bow around the chairs using old sheets or shirts any fabric you have laying around, or you could go out and find a store that sells cheap ribbon, tie it at the top have it flow to the ground. The dollar store sells floral arts and crafts and so does Walmart you could put together some floral designs and find a way to attach it to the back of the chair. It really depends on what kind of chairs they are plastic, wood, etc. Maybe you could use some old sheets you don't use and throw them over the chair. If money is a big issue the thrift store has some nice shirts and pants you can turn into a cushion I don't know how much time you have left to do something about the chairs but I hope this helps or sparks some ideas for you.

Q: Can't put my actual tent up and need to make one with blankets and chairs. Please please help me.: take four chairs, i use the ones from my dining room with nice points edges. space them out and place them facing away from each other ( like if people were going to sit facing away from everyone). get a biggg blanket and throw it over the chairs. (i reccomend a big but thin blanket so it will stay up, a bed sheet will also work well cause you can stretch the elastic around the chairs.) if your chairs have rounded edges duct tape the blanket to the chairs, or maybe put a pillow on the chair and tuck the blanket beneath it so it stays. if the blanket is too heavy you might have to place a book or something on the chairs to weight them down. next, if you want, you can throw a smaller blanket over just two of the chairs and let it hang off the side to make a door kind of. or, throw towels lengthwise over the middle of the big blanket to make doors. use pillows on the inside to cover up empty spaces and in between the chairs. BE CREATIVE! Hope this helps! :)

Q: We are having our wedding at a museum that doesn't do a lot of weddings, just 1 or 2 a year. They do other events like conferences and dinners though and they have chairs that we can use. The problem is, as far as I know they are just basic black metal folding chairs. In the pictures that I've seen of events held there, there wasn't any chair coverings at all. Do you think that it would be tacky to leave them as is? Is it the type of thing that a guest would notice or frown upon at all? I know little details like this don't really concern most guests, I'm just not sure how little this is. We're not looking to spend a crazy amount of money on this, but any cheaper DIY chair cover ideas would be welcome as well! I have a horrible couch that kills everyones back when you sit in it. you sink straight down. it killed my back before i was pregnant.: I was never very comfortable nursing in a glider rocker. The baby just didn't fit very well in my arms, with the arms of the chair getting in the way of my elbows. The one you have linked has padded arms that may help. Nursing in bed is nice, too - if you lay on your side, instead of sitting up. Nice way for both of you to get a little nap in :D If you've got room for it, I would look on craigslist or in a local thrift store see if you can get a comfy recliner. They even have rocking recliners, if you think the rocking would be nice.
