- Q: I have asked this question before I have more information now.Yesterday I filled the foot tub with water/ turned it on and I also turned on the massage for the chair. After a few minutes It tripped so I pushed the reset button and it still tripped. I had the plug in the out let down by the floor the outlet above it is the one that tripped? Then I plugged the cord to the pedicure chair into an out let on another wall the chair after 15 minutes was still running. Then I turned the circuit breaker off and all the power to the room went off. Why is the chair running off one wall and not the other one?A guy came out and replaced the two out lets on the other wall that has the plug with the reset button.I was told the other wall needed grounding to run the pedicure chair. What does this mean I need to do. The electrician said It was the chair must have bad wiring. I have used this chair maybe 10 times NEW chair Please help?????? Thanks so very much
- Pedicure chairs are required to be plugged into a GFCI protected circuit. Failure to plug the chair into a GFCI receptacle would render the occupier of the chair to a potentially fatal electrical shock in the event of a wiring fault. If your chair is tripping the GFCI, then there is a fault in your chair and it should be repaired by a qualified technician or replaced. DO NOT USE on a circuit that is not GFCI protected.
- Q: Im looking for a good gaming chair that i can rock back and forth in, and it doesnt have any speakers, and its extremely comphy and reclines i have a setup where i sit on the ground and my tv is just in front of me but just a little bit higher. i dont want a chair that is tall i just want one that on the ground and reclines and has no speaker and is extremely comphy and allowes me to rock in it back and forth if i felt like it.
- haha? i've never heard of such a thing? try googling gaming chairs goodluck!
- Q: Radius 3m, length of chain and chair 2.5m.Mass of rider and chair 100kg. (8 chairs riders)a)Determine rotational speed when chair is at 30 degrees to the verticalb)How many g's does a rider feel?I have the final answers, but don't know how to get to them.Using trig I get a total radius of 4.25m then I get stuck! Please help! Thanks
- I assume the top of the chain is anchored to a point which is at radius 3m Let the force in the chain when in the 30? position be F then vertically downward force on rider chair = Fv = 981 N = F s30? so that F = 981/0.866 = 1133 N The horizontal component of force on the rider = Fh = F.sin30? = 566.4 N Radius or rider at the 30? position = 3 + 2.5sin30? = 4.25 m Fh is the force produced by rotation and = m.ω?.r giving ω = √[F/(m.r)] = 1.1544 where ω is the rotational angular frequency. So rotational frequency = ω/(2.π) = 0.18373 revs/sec = 11.024 r.p.m.. The rider experiences total force F = 1133N. If he were standing still he would experience 981 N, so g force is 1133/981 = 1.155g. This is the total force on the rider, including his own weight. The extra force he experiences due to rotation is 566.4/981 = 0.577 g – the answer you are given.
- Q: I have some oak dining room chairs and a few are getting wobbly. Should I take them apart and re-glue them or will that make it worse. What should I do?
- I hate to voice the dissenting opinion, but I respectfully disagree with the other answers. Often attempting to disassemble a chair joint can cause more harm than good. Of course it depends on your specific chair, but because of the way a chair is assembled, you may have to stress or pull several joints apart in order to re-glue one. I would consider other methods first. One way is to squirt adhesive into the joint with a syringe. They make a glue applicator specifically for that purpose. If the joint is a mortise and tenon (hole and peg), you can sometimes drill a small hole in the chair leg opposite the joint just big enough to fit the syringe nozzle. Fill the hole with adhesive and clamp. Another available product (also with a syringe applicator) simply swells the joint so it becomes a tight, wobble free fit. In my experience, it works - but only temporarily. I also disagree with using 'Gorilla' type glue. Poly glues are strong, but expand when they dry and try to force the glue joint apart. Certainly you can avoid this by securely clamping the joint, but I think a yellow carpenter's glue is a better choice. They are also much easier to clean up. Either way, if you do separate the joint, remove as much of the old adhesive as possible. Glue works best when adhering to raw, unsealed wood. Good luck!
- Q: How do you get a fresh stain out of an upholstered chair and it cant be complicated. please help.
- If the stain has set, use Resolve rung and upholstery cleaner.
- Q: Hi, I'm wanting to drape a wing-back arm chair with some fabric rather than reupholster it, and I'm not sure how to get the measurements for it. Could someone help me? Thanks!
- a fail proof way to get an idea of how much fabric you will need: Take a tablecloth and drape it over the chair. This will give you a feeling of how much fabric you will need. If the tablecloth is too big, buy less fabric than the table cloth measurements and vice versa. I realize this is not a professional way to measure, but for the layman, it is a great way to get the spacial measurement needed.
- Q: Help im realy stuck in my chair and i cant get out luckly my charir is rite by my computer and i can post this to my fellow friends on yahoo! help call the firefighters!
- how u get stuck to a chair
- Q: I'm having hard time deciding on which piece of furniture I should get for my room. I want either a double papasan chair or a lovesac supersac.
- 2nd one.
- Q: What we have available for the site are these not so great metal chairs! Don't really have the budget to rent chair covers (and probably would not want to even if we did) so I'm really just looking for something to decorate the back a bit to make it prettier. After all, most of the chair is going to be covered anyway by a person! But the backs of a metal folding chair..yuck..not pretty.Anyone have any ideas out there?
- I am answering off the top of my head... but could you go to Wal-Mart and buy cheap fabric and make a little cover that just goes over the top of the chair? (you can probably even just sew 2 pieces of fabric together and slip it over the top of the chair and have it just long enough to cover the back... I may not be explaining myself very well. Dollar store - big bows, or some bridal ribbon and a pretty silk flower, and scotch tape it on the back of the chair If you choose to go with a flower, maybe you can get some magnet tape, cut a couple little pieces for each decoration... then it'll be easy on and easy off and won't ruin the paint on the chairs. best of luck!
