- Q: I am getting married this October and I'm having my reception in a banquet hall...it's very nice and of course they provide white tableclothes for their round tables but their chairs are like an ugly pinkish color...I'm wanting to get some white chair covers to cover them up and make it look more elegant. The banquet hall recommended a place that they use and I guess the people come out and steam the covers on the chairs so they aren't wrinkled and they have a display out at the hotel we are having the reception at and they are really nice but they are $6 a chair cover and I'm having over 200 guests at my wedding and I don't want to be spending that kind of money on just chair covers. Just wanted to know if any of you have ever ordered chair covers online that you can rent? I found a website where you can rent them and they are only like $1 or $2 for each chair cover, but I hate to order them and they come and are are really wrinkled and don't even look nice...any of you done this?
- $6 is too much. You might be able to find another venus on your own. If I were you, I would just put chair covers on the bridal party table and leave every one else with the chairs provided. No one is really going to care. Too much emphasis is being placed on the $ side of weddings that you end up forgetting that after a wedding, marriage begins. Good luck.

Then Icebyrd Slim, after you have finished all these quests, will give you the chair.

- While they do make the overall appearance of the room look nice, I have never been to a wedding wear i can remember if they had chair covers or not. My 3 friends and I are all in the process of planning and keep trying to think back to other weddings we've attended. Usually just the bridal party, and the party. - Look for chairs with plastic tips installed on the chair legs. These tips are also available in hardware stores for installation into wooden chair legs. Your floors will be fine. None. But it is easy to imaging making this mistake in a garage that has natural light.

- I have wood floors and is hasnt been a problem for me, but i think it depends on the type of chair and the weight of the person. If you have a cheap chair with plastic wheels and a 200 pound person sliding back and forth on it, youre obviously gonna do some damage. It wouldnt hurt to get a plastic matt for the floor, but i wouldnt say its necessary.

- If you can walk then no you don't need the chair. I would take it easy for a few weeks to let your knee heal though.
