- Q: Can laundry detergent be used to clean the carpet
- It depends on the materials of your carpet. Small is no peoblem. If the carpet is too large, then you have no way to clean by yourself. use shampoo, don't try to clean antique carpets on your own, the other is no problem,
- Q: What about soy sauce spilled on the carpet?
- The easiest way is to use vinegar to remove it
- Q: How to maintain the carpet?
- The choose of carpet color should consider not only the joy, but also the space walk habit. Plain carpet with no pattern easily exposes stains and footprints. Carpet lifetime maintenance: the maintenance is actually off and on in carpet operation life. Relative program, inspection and precaution. Frequently exam the carpet, do not exam it off and on. Exam the carpet to see if there are water stains and the stains are easy to be removed of early treatment. Choose superior quality carpet, because this kind of carpet is generally through special processing to provide anti fouling, dustproof and wearproof guarantee. The frequently stepped areas are easily contaminated, and stains with the spread of indoor footsteps entry indoor. So the hallway should be laid a carpet to wipe shoes dust to reduce dust accumulation and spread. And try to avoid carpet directly exposed to the sun, or the carpet will fade. Carpet should be cleaned by the vacuum, because dust accumulation in the carpet causing fiber wear and the color becoming darker. The corridor should have dust collection two to three times a week, and the bedroom should have dust collection at least once a week. When operate it, slowly push cleaner and push forward the cleaning brush, the pull back the brush, after that push forward the brush again. Except the regular cleaning of carpet, dry cleaning the carpet by yourself when laying. About every about two years, please cleaning company to thoroughly clean the carpet so that the carpet will like new for a long time.

I have this HUGE empty space in the middle of my room and want to get a rug.Well since everything else in my room is pink, where can I find a pink rug?Possibly around the size of 5ft x 4ft.Oh and for under 40 dollars.I just need the store names pleasssssse (:
- Also look around when dorm furniture and sales start, you'll see a lot of pink.
- Q: What's the rug under the sofa and tea table?
- The carpet under the sofa and tea table is called the living room carpet.Mat decoration than practical, carpet is a matter of personal preference, feel better, foreigners generally love carpet, especially in eastern europe.
- Q: What is the best way to clean stains on a seagrass rug? These are from a cat throwing up hairballs. We have tried water, Oxyclean, baking soda, carpet foaming cleaner...Any remedies would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
- Sorry to tell yo uthat the stains are most likely permanent. Seagrass, by nature is a porous fiber. Hence the stains have penetrated the fibers in the rug, and have become inherent, just as a dye would. Your best chance would be to completely redye the rug. It may be cheaper however to buy another, and keep Puss N Boots in the other room.
- Q: I tried using Prosolve Triple Action on my carpet after staining it with tea...IT DIDN'T WORK!!Any ideas!?
- I am a professional carpet cleaner- This is what will work but you must be careful not to damage your carpet so try this in an area that is hidden first.... Mix ammonia and peroxide together and apply to the spot. Cover the spot with a white cloth and apply an iron over the white cloth. The trick is to heat the fiber causing the stain to change it's appearance. I recommend never using store purchased stain removers unless a professional has recommended it specifically.
- Q: Because I live in aus and the temperatures range from *lowest 6-10C winter* and highest around 36C in summer, with no dramatic weather usually, would a horse the is kept out in a paddock all its life **pleasure horse** need such rugs like winter and summer etc? (if it was clipped or didn't have a nice big fluffy coat))thanks.
- I have three horses and live in Victoria. Two of them were unrugged this winter - a QH with a thick coat, not in work and a QH weanling with a thick coat. My first cross QH mare was clipped (hunter clip) as she was worked so she was rugged. The temps were getting down to -1C overnight. Mind you, my horses were hard fed twice daily and lived on average grass (not much grass because of the drought). If they weren't hard fed, they all would have needed rugs, including the weanling. The feed (especially roughage such as hay or chaff) ferments in the horses bowel, which warms them up from the inside. Less feed = less internal heating = more rugs required to keep the weight on. In summer, my show horses are rugged to keep their coats nice and prevent sun bleaching. If they aren't being show, then they don't get rugged. At the moment they are all unrugged as there are no shows because of EI. I am lucky enough to have my horses on full livery so there's always some one there to change their rugs if it gets too hot or too cold. If you aren't lucky enough to have someone keeping an eye on your horses (or if they aren't kept on your property) then you have to be very careful when keeping your horse rugged as they can get themselves into trouble. Rugs breaking, caught in fences, tearing and leaking, horse overheating because of a sudden patch of sunny weather, skin conditions because of sweating/overheating - the list goes on and on. Hope this has helped and not confused you further!
- Q: I have a large rugs that I need to wash, I've had it for a few months and it is getting dirty due to the constant walking and owning a pet. th the safest and best wa t to wash a larg rugi It is a five by 8 foot rug.
- either shampoo it by renting one or go to the laundry mat where they have industrial size washers.
- Q: OK, my pet pooped on the carpet, didn't notice it for awhile. It dried, I picked it up, vacuumed the carpet as well as I could, sprinkled a little (not too much) baking soda into the carpet and rubbed in it. Then I put diluted vinegar (half and half with water) in a container and soaked a paper towel, wrung it out and scrubbed the carpet with it. I didn't use a whole lot of vinegar, about half a cup solution (which would be 1/4 cup of water, 1/4 of water) for an area the size of a large cutting board.I plan on leaving it overnight and in the morning scrubbing it out with a bit of water - will the vinegar harm the carpet in the meantime or am I OK? Nothing was put sopping on the carpet - the paper towel was just damp.
- I wouldn't leave it overnight. It should be fine with the treatment you already gave it.
