They go perfectly with the rest of my decor so I don't what to have to go find new ones.: You can go for various rug pads available online.Another option would be use Two sided tape and paste in on floor and the next step is stick a Velcro on the tape and the other part of the Velcro on bottom edge of the rug. This will surely help your old rug from curling up from edges.

Q: I have two dogs and I am so tired of all the fur on the rugs.: If you are asking about area rugs, then the braided rugs aren't too bad for that but they can slip so need something under it to stop the slipping (stitching rubber sealer rings in random places can work)..I have a couple of natural coloured sheep skin rugs that seem good..the hair from my dog (who sleeps on one a lot or from the cats - have two) doesn't seem to stick to it at all! The only problem I have with the sheepskin is that you have to have it specially cleaned...but looks great.

Q: We have had some wrinkles develop in our carpeting, so I think I need to have it stretched. What causes that? Time, poor installation, or both?Also, we need our carpets cleaned. In most cases the furniture and other household furnishings need to be removed from the room to properly stretch the carpet. Q: that moves constantly. I'm forever pulling and tugging on it to keep it flat and straight. The rug is located in my living room with a coffee table on it. Q: I have a new beige carpet that is about 1 year old. I have some stains from a dog. I used Woolite Heavy Traffic and vacuum but it really did not work. The carpet looks darker than the rest of the carpet. What can I use to make the carpet clean again?: In spite of two dogs, I kept cream and beige carpets looking good for years using Zoflora disinfectant diluted in warm water. You have to get down on hands and knees and rub it in sparingly in circles with a cloth and then not walk on the carpet until it dries. It comes in pleasant flower fragrances and is very cheap.

Q: Yes... i have been staining a part of my wood closet doors. While this has happened... i had accidentally gotten a few small spots of stain on the carpet. Does anyone know how to get these out?: If you have olefin carpeting you can use anything to get it out. If you have a blend then you are out of luck. If it can penetrate wood to stain it, it will penetrate carpet fiber. We use a solvent to break down oil stains. Water based cleaners will not work. Like takes out like. Be careful with solvent cleaners. If you use too much it can beak down the glue on you carpet backing. You can get solvent spotters from carpet cleaning supply stores. We consider this to be carpet damage not a stain.
