Q: What color coffee table and carpet do match with green sofa
Gray should also be ok, matching with a slightly lighter color
Q: Im buying a horse who doesn't come with anything, i know what else i need but i wondered what rugs i need to last me the year i have a heavyweight full neck turnout that will fit her but didn't know about medium weights or stable or fleeces? shes quite a fine Arab cross mare any help would be brill! Thanks!
Hi The type of rugs you buy depends on your climate, whether she is clipped and whether she will live in or out. A full neck turnout rug is ideal particularly if she's clipped. I usually start to rug up on 1st October. A light fleece if stabled is ideal to begin with. As it gets colder a slightly heavier quilted rug is ideal. A few lighter layers are often better than one heavy rug, that way you can remove or add layers. For outdoors you will need to make sure you always have replacements to ensure she always has a dry turnout rug. I like the weatherbeeta range. To prevent any rubbing on her chest, always put a vest on under her rugs. A tip... arabs don't particularly get a heavy winter coat, but if she's not to be clipped but worked in winter, rug her up well to keep her warm (not too warm). The extra layers will prevent too much winter hair growth. My irish draft did not like being clipped and his rugs kept his winter growth to a minimum so he was still able to work comfortably in winter without undue sweating. I hope this helps you. Q: I was planning to wash my carpet(with my carpet washer) and there were some really tough stains in it. So I put some bleach with the pre-wash solution and I sprayed it onto the stains. After I washed it, I noticed white stains on my carpet (my carpet is light tan). I know that I have removed the color completely, but can I re-dye it with tea? If I can't please offer suggestions.
I did this a few weeks ago when I was cleaning my toilet. We have blue carpet that is variegated, but there were several dots where the bleach had dropped on the carpet. I don't know if it would work for you, but I used a purple colored pencil and covered over that with a gray colored pencil. It's not perfect, but it's no longer visible to the naked eye. Unless you're down on your hands and knees looking for a spot :) Hope this helps somewhat. Try a tan colored pencil on one spot and just see what it looks like.
Q: We have had some wrinkles develop in our carpeting, so I think I need to have it stretched. What causes that? Time, poor installation, or both? Also, we need our carpets cleaned. Would you have them cleaned and then stretched or vice versa? Thanks!
Carpets okorder ., to locate a professional certified, and insured carpet cleaner who uses the hot water extraction process. In most cases the furniture and other household furnishings need to be removed from the room to properly stretch the carpet. Coordinate the time for this with the cleaner to come in after the carpet is stretched, perhaps all completed in the same day. This is how we do it, I'm a professional HWE carpet cleaner.
Q: The pad is worn out under the carpet in traffic areas, but the carpet is fine.
I don't see why not, if your carpeting is still good. Why waste good carpeting if you don't have to. I say go for it. I would have the carpet cleaned before you replace the pad then it will be nice and fresh when you have the new pad put under it.
Q: How are the carpets laid?
Carpet laying: divided into two types of fixed and fixed, according to the area covered with shop and partial shop.
Q: My couch is black leather. I have a glass top coffe table with black legs. My tv is black, and the TV stand is black w/ a very dark wood. Also some other dark wooden misc peices that match. I want to paint the walls a fire engine red to make the room pop, but I also need a rug. I've been searching every store everywhere, but NOTHING seems to match. We tried several animal prints, but it ended up look tacky. Any suggestions??
Maybe like a burgundy color. You can pick a rug and go to Home Depot or Lowe's and they can match the paint to the color.
Q: Does anyone know the daily care of horse rugs? Like what to check for. Thanks..x
Daily care of rugs. My horse is in at night (weathers cold) and wears two rugs. In the morning I tie him up out side his box for breakfast the when I remove his rugs I shake them out, turn them inside out and hang in the yard to air through and if necessary dry off the pooey bits. Later that can be brushed off.. Check that the straps are in good working order also the buckles at the front. If he goes out during the day he wears his heavy waterproof rug with a neck piece and due to wetness after all the snow it gets plastered with mud from rolling. The mud dries out during the course of the day and when he comes in, it can be brushed off while he is still wearing it.. If it's wet still, hang it up to dry in a shed if possible but not near your tack as the dampness isn't good for leather. Check it all round for rips, tears and loose buckles/straps etc. When a horse starts to shed his winter coat, your work will really start! All those hairs to brush off the inside of the rug. I use a rubber curry comb or a pair of damp rubber gloves and then a good shake and hang to air out. Different rugs for different times of year - some of the lightweight ones can be put in the home washing machine once a week. When the summer arrives, get all the heavy weight ones professionally cleaned and re-proofed. Well worth the money.
Q: So I'm gonna be renting out a place but there is ugly orange stained carpet. What can I do to make it look better? The owner won't let me change the carpet either. :(
try putting rugs on them. It might make it look better. Get the rug color you want and try putting them around your apartment. And try not to put things that look interesting on the floor. Cause people will see it and they'll see your carpets.
Q: I'm thinking about buying a 9'2 x 12' 11 rug, but there are no rug pads with these dimensions. The closest pad size would be 8 x 10. Is it okay that the rug pad doesn't fit exactly with the rug or do I need to get a custom rug pad?
