Q: I used a couple carpet cleaners that I bought at the grocery store and tried soap but carpets never get very clean. Is there a good brand that anyone has found to work really well?
There are several dissimilar cleaning methods to choose from such as Steam Cleaning, Dry Cleaning, Shampoo, Foam Cleaning and Bonnet Cleaning. Most of them are like Do-It-Yourself types. Removing stains from your carpet can be an overwhelming task for many. However, it is not really as bad as it sounds. There is always a solution, even if the stains are really tough, as the ones from coffee or red wine could be easily removed from your carpet. There are simply so many ways you can do it. I can hardly elaborate all of them but you might search the methods i just mentioned. And yeah, if it all fails, there definitely is the carpet cleaning service done by professionals.
Q: How many kinds of carpet machine?
Benefits of carpet machines:1. carpet mechanism, foam, roll brush, dry, three in one, high efficiency.2. carpet machine at the time of foam cleaning, dry very quickly, but also immediately put into use.3. carpet machine is light and handy, working height is only 45cm, very convenient to use in the room and other places.4. carpet machine than ordinary carpet cleaning, save water, there is the quality of his cleaning is relatively high.
Q: My friend knocked over her beer on my rug and didn't tell me until the morning after... it smells pretty bad. Any suggestions how to get rid of it quickly and permanently? I don't have many tools to use but i can run to a drug store if i need to.
since it's already dry use soapy water or carpet shampoo machine. maybe sprinkle diluted vinegar spray; after it's dry put down baking soda
Q: i have a extra room in my house that used to be a lil girls room. the carpet is sort of a reddish pinkish color. i dont have a girl anymore and would like to turn the room into a play room for my son. can i dye the carpet? if so wat colors could i change it to and where could i get the dye?
The easiest and surest way to change the color is to change the carpet. If the present carpet is nylon, there is no way to dye it evenly. Go to commercial carpet installer house and purchase an end run from a job of a color that works for you...you will spend far less money doing this than trying to dye a carpet that will make a mess. Choose level loop commercial carpet....will never wear out under residential use.
Q: we want to replace the carpeting in our sunken great room, which has a crawlspace under it. What can we do to keep the carpeting from getting musty? Can you put vapor barrier under the carpet? The floor in the great room is wood planks but is there a way to stop moisture from rising and making the carpet smelly? The room is heated but for some reason the carpet gets musty smelling over time.
Carpet Pad Moisture Barrier
Q: It doesn't have the plastic quot;stickinessquot; underneath the rug.And if I put that rug securing platic that you buy at convenience stores, won't it get mildewy?
try the shelving liners you get for your kitchen cabinets that are kinda tacky..(its like some type of soft plasticy-foam)depends on what kind of floor you have. just check out different types...dollar store's the best place to look. hope this helps. :)
Q: Im trying to find ways to make money for a low cost. I live in and area where there is around 5 other carpet cleaning businesses. Basically I need to pay for gas, car insurance+phone =$70 and I don't know how much being licensed and insured for the business would be. Basically if I get around 5-10 customers a month I'd be doing good. If you have had a carpet cleaning business or experience please let me know if its worth it. Thanks!
Well, I don't have a carpet cleaning business, but my dad has his own business, I manage the office at a business, and I am studying business. Carpet cleaning services is a competitive business. While you have competition, you must provide better quality work at cheaper/same costs. Licensing/insurance for the business may go off of the amount of profits you obtain. It may (equal) about another $70 a month (give or take a little). I think carpet cleaning would be a great business to get into! Most households/businesses have carpet that needs cleaned. You'll encounter customers that can't clean their carpets or just don't want to; thus, they'll hire someone to do it. I would take into account that you may encounter some nasty scenarios: i.e. flea-infested carpets, carpets with feces/urine, or other dirty circumstances. If they wouldn't bother you, go for it! Good luck!
Q: hi,i am getting a new horse this Thursday, there are no rugss tack or anything like that included, so i need to find a good make of a rug in uk and i need a head collar so please could you help me ! any awnser appreciated thanks !
i have given up on rugging my pony becuase she rips them so much! native breed and she's unclipped so she really doesn't need it anyway. a horse's own coat is much better than a rug so if they're not excessivly clipped they're probably okay. if not, decathalon! ?15 turn out rug, hasn't ripped, does the job totally fine! okay it wont last forever but for now, why not. horsewear ireland are good though. bit more costly but they're really nice rugs. if you;re anything like me before long you'll have a rug for every occasion. headcoller, oh goodness, i swear they breed i have so many, infact I think there's one under my feet now. oh yes there is and it's a horsewear ireland one. i've lost count of how many i have, cheap ones do the job fine, cost about ?5, leadropes are only a few quid and i buy them impulsivly. I got a glittery rope the other day actually, it's fantastic! good luck with your new horse, you must be so excited!
Q: i have a little dog and i'm still training her so i have a carpet cleaner spray i use on her areas that she had an accident on. Well anyway she did her thing inside instead of outside and i grabbed the tilex tile cleaner with bleach instead of the carpet cleaner and now my carpet is bleached in 2 areas! I am moving apartments in a month and i am afraid i wont get my deposit back. Is there any carpet dye or somthing i could do???
Dying bleach stains in a carpet can be done, but that is something usually best left to a professional. Try contacting local flooring companies, or check your local registry to see if you have someone in your area that does 'carpet repair, or dye'. If the bleach stains aren't very large, then it might be possible to 'swap' a portion of the carpet out of a closet, and patch it. Again, this isn't something I would recommend for a novice. It does take a bit of skill to make a patch that blends in so it isn't visible. Using carpet dye, or patching a carpet, are two things that can very easily end up with more problems than you started with, hehe. In a worst case scenario, the carpet could be replaced.. so it would be a toss up, as to which would be more expensive, losing the deposit, or installing new carpet. Before replacing it, I'd suggest you double check with the apartment management. Many apartment complexes will keep at least a portion of the deposit, for 'cleaning' anyway, so there is a chance you won't get your full deposit back, even if you leave it with absolutely no damage at all. The only way around it would be to hire a professional cleaning company yourself, and that usually costs more than letting the apartment management have their maintenance/cleaning employees do the work. I would recommend that, if you cannot find someone to repair the carpet, that you get some estimates on replacing it. Then, if the apartment management tries to keep the entire deposit, you make them break it down by cost (in writing). If their cost for carpet replacement is higher than your estimates, you've got something you can use to barter with, if it is worth your time. Good Luck
Q: What material is the Bolon Studio carpet made of?
Vinyl, also known as PVC, is a common PVC material that is usually poisonous, and bolon's flooring is made of this material
