- Oxy clean does not contain bleach and will not change the color of your carpet.Oxy clean makes several different products and some even state they will work on carpets.If you want to try it on a out of site area such as under a piece of furniture.But I believe it will be fine.

- I know very little beyond what is shown in showrooms and on Antiques Roadshow. Mostly they have Persian carpets, and not that much on Armenian.

- Hi small burns are fairly easy to fix. Tools you will need needle nose pliers, white glue, two-inch nail or tooth pick. First with the pliers grab the burnt fibre and pull them out (when this is done you should see the backing of the carpet) Now from the a 1 foot area around the burn pull out fibres one at a time, but not beside each other (you should not notices them missing) this is to get the same colour and wear pattern. Dip the end of fibre into the white glue and push the fibre with the nail into the backing of the carpet repeat this for each fibre until the burn spot is fill with new fibre. When the glue is dry you can trim the fibres to match. From a carpet cleaner for 14 years
- Q: It is a shag type rug made with leather strips. I need to know how to vaccum it without tearing it up or blowing up my vaccum cleaner. I have a dog that sheds horribly twice a year and well, this is one them!
- I would suggest using a brush attachment, rather than the heavy part of the vacuum. If it's small enough, you might be better off taking the rug frequently to shake it out outside. Good luck!

- You need 320 s/f butttttttt..... Carpet comes mainly in 12 and 15 foot wide so depending on how you room is laid out with its walking patterns etc is how its laid and seamed. Generaly a seam will be on the furthest wall away from all traffic. Again if your carpet comes 15 foot ( some do some only comes 12 foot wide) you ll you ll need extra carpet for a seam . You ll be scraping out some so you ll have to get more than 320 s/f GL

- Get as much up as possible while it's dry, once it gets wet it's going to stain and be a mess. You'll probably end up steam vacuuming it up in the end.

- Hi I would recommend using a wet vac and slowly pour hot water (almost to the boiling point) on the spot and vacuum it up at the same time (this will open up the dye ports on the carpet fibre releasing the stain. and remove the residue from the carpet). If the stain is still visible than use a little carpet spotter on it or Dawn dishwashing liquid (2 or 3 drops into one cup of water) and repeat step 1. The stain may come back in a few days so you may have to do this a few times. Please DO NOT put anything on the carpet that was not made for carpet. At this point if the stain is still there please call a carpet cleaner. Carpet cleaner of 14 years

Rotating your rugs will allow them to wear more evenly, maintaining their original appearance and value. Also, rotate your rugs according to the amount of direct sunlight. Over time direct sunlight can fade the dyes of your rugs.
