Some places might charge a lot of money for something like that, but I run an online website that sells mostly furniture, you know, coffee tables, end tables, etc. We do have a fairly good selection of rugs though and I'm looking at them now and we have a few that look just like that. Do not tell them you have the amount of yards of carpeting needed. This will give you an idea of how honest they are being. If you get a patterned carpet this calculator will not work. If you have pets get a padding that has a vapor barrier. Get the best padding you can afford. It supports you new carpeting. Home Depot in our area has a special for 99.00 to install your carpets. Then get you carpets cleaned every six month and it will last you for years.
- Q: Someone spilt some blue WKD on my cream carpet and I've tried carpet stain remover, white wine and an industrial carpet cleaning machine. Are there any other ways which will remove the stain?
- I don't know what wkd is, but here is a way to remove most stains that can be removed. A cup of warm water with 2 drops of a liquid laundry soap, mix well. Using your fingers dampen the carpet fibers. Try not to get the back of the carpet wet. After the carpet is wet , make a big pile of white paper towels on top of the wet spot. Now put a weight on top that will not rust or bleed from the water. Maybe a cookie sheet with a brick on top. Leave it covered for 12 to 24 hours. Remove . Look at the paper towel if the stain has transferred to the paper you are on the right track. Just keep doing it until its gone. There is a chance that the wkd has removed the color from the carpet and you can not fix it. Also you may have set the stain with the wine. For your information carpet cleaners have equipment and stain removers that home owners can not buy. Calling a carpet cleaner is a lot less money than replacing the carpet. One last word , your home owners insurance company may cover the cost of replacement.

- Q: What is sole and composit bottom of the carpet? What's the difference?
- There is no need to be composit bottom. If it is laid in front of the bed or marble. The composit bottom carpet is mainly used for the floor tile: Composit bottom means that add a layer of anti-skid plastic cloth to the back bottom of chenille. If laid in the wooden floor, it not only has a non slip effect, but also can make the product more three-dimensional. Especially in the bathroom.

- A UTI could be the cause of your cat's missing the box in favor for the rug, or he could be upset about something. Have you moved his box? Changed his food? Changed his schedule? Anything that is different that might seem small to you might be big to him. My mom's cat started pooping on her rug because my mom moved her litter box. She solved the problem by purchasing Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract cat litter; it is specifically made for cats who fail to use the litter box. - Q: I cannot for the life of me find the rugs in sims 2. I've seen some other answers here that say things like quot;decorations, rugs, put it on the floor.quot; well obviously if I am having to ask, I'm not able to follow those instructions as easily as you. Call me retarded or what you want, but all I see under decorations is plants, sculptures, wall hangings, mirrors, and curtains. - I just opened my game to see where the rugs were and they are here: Buy Mode Decorative Under Decorative as you already said there are the sub-categories plants, sculptures, wall hangings, mirrors, curtains, then rugs, then an icon that has 3 little buttons that is the sub-category miscellaneous, then next to that an icon that looks like a figure 8 on its side that represents the sub-category 'All'. Can you see MISCELLANEOUS and ALL? It is possible that the sub-category 'rugs' only appeared after I installed a certain expansion pack. I'm not sure as it's nearly 5 years since I just had the original game on its own. But if that is the case, and 'rugs' only got its own icon sub-category after EA released certain expansion packs, then I would guess that if you have the base game with no expansions rugs would either show up under DecorativeMiscellaneous or DecorativeAll. There are only 2 or 3 rugs that I can say for certain came with the base game- this is maybe why they didn't originally have their own sub-category, would hardly have been worth it for only a couple of items. And custom rugs will nearly always show up under DecorativeMiscellaneous. This is because they are hardly ever cloned from Maxis rugs, which are very boring.

- Okay, I know you're not going to like this but, here goes... The only thing that I have ever seen work in an environment that you and your friends are about to put carpet through were custom fit quarter inch masonite panels which were duct taped to the baseboards and thresholds. And this is on construction sites with fewer people who are very mindful of other peoples work. It's hard enough to walk on a solid surface when drunk let alone a carpet covered with plastic, paper and/or cloth. If you do have a spill, more than likely, no one would know about it until the next day when the covering is removed. You would have a lot less food and drink spilled if you were to leave the carpet uncovered. That said..... Resign yourself to the possibility (probability) that you'll have to have the carpet professionally cleaned . How do you pay for that? Your guests can ante up a couple of bucks each as a cover charge. It's a pittance compared to tuition fees. Another way to look at it is, if you are renting and have placed a security deposit with your landlord and decide not to do anything about a stained carpet, how frugal do you think he or she will be with your money when contracting a carpet cleaner? Not! The way the economy is now you can probably get a pretty good deal. So get busy. Oh, and while getting your prices, you might want to ask which stains are the most difficult to remove. I know that candle wax is a tough one. One last thought. You may know or know of someone who has a carpet cleaner. See if you can borrow it for the evening. Have it set up and ready to go should there be an accident. I'd loan you mine but I'm over 30 and can't be trusted. Have fun and I hope I didn't sound too much like your father.

- Q: Some wax fell on the carpet(quite dense) and i tried the old trick ironing down a piece of paper on top of it to lift the wax off. It has worked for me before. But now, part of the paper has stuck to the carpet. I tried ripping it off real quick but now there's just a huge patch of paper stuck right into the carpet. How can i get it off/out ? Help ?
- In the laundry section at the store, they sell this stuff to remove wax from carpet, clothes, etc... it works. approx $5
