- Hardwood floors. I had a choice, hardwood floors or carpeting. Made the wrong choice and picked wall to wall carpeting. Too much work for me. Don't like to vacuuming, it's a pain in my butt. When my cat gets sick it's always on the carpeting even though tile is right there. I think she does this on purpose. I'm convinced she was out to get me. I finally said, ENOUGH! and had to admit once again I made the wrong choice. Ripped it all up and put down laminate. I love it. It's strong, doesn't scratch, easy to clean, especially with cat around. Give me a soft dust mop any day. Easy clean all the way around. Don't have real wood floors. Chose laminate because it's stronger and doesn't need to be sanded and redone. My opinion, my opinion only.
- Q: I stay at my current apartment for 8 years, the carpet is not in good condition. The landlord just sent someone to do carpet wash, but refused to replace it. I am wondering if there is any law/regulation regarding how often the carpet needs to be replaced at the landlords/owners expense. Or any way I can request him to replace?Thank you.
- I'm in FL and every 2-3 years or every new tenant where the former tenant has been there for one year then a new carpet is installed and the cost of that carpet is about $300 for a one bedroom place. I too have lived in an apartment for many years and have not changed it but only to keep my rent down. They said they would not replace it unless i removed some boxes which I refuse to do that, so they haven't come in to change mine. But if I wanted them to I'd simply ask them to do that and they'd raise my rent for me to pay for it. I never heard of any law or regulation about replacing carpets.

- You could have the carpet repaired. If you just had it done most likely you have a small amount of left over contact your installer and have them come over and patch it. They will cut out the burned area and glue in a new piece it will be invisible to the eye. Good Luck!

- There is no need to bother, open the car door and dry in the sun, take the foot pad out and dry, but the car must be dry,

- A carpet steamer would be your best bet for disinfecting. The clorox is going to put white spots all over the carpet.

- It depends on the size of the snake . They continue to grow so it really depends . I would say a 20 gallon long aquarium would be fine for most. You do not necessarily need a vertical cage . You do need a cage large enough so your snake can have hides/wooden boxes in different areas so he can have a warmer box closer to a light when he wants to warm up and a cooler hide/box in another area so he can regulate his temp. You can stack wooden boxes ( easily made ) with an entrance hole so that each one gets warm as it gets closer to your heat lamp. You could also put damp moss in one for a more humid hide . They are beautiful snakes a easy to care for . Just have accurate digital thermometers and one to measure your humidity level. I like to have one artificial branch for them to climb on.

- dogs respond to high pitched heavier voices. use a heavy voice to yell at the dog WEN YOU SEE HIM DOING IT. you have to catch him in the act yell extremely loud and strong. put his face about an inch away from the pee before u clean it up then smack his noise a couple times then put him in his cage. keep doing it wenever he trys itll take time to train him but itll work btw to get pee outta a rug pour water on the area that got peed on and then use paper towls by prsssing them down hard on the water until it comes out. the water will take the pee out with it and get rid of the pee and the smell
