Q: I‘m looking for a new Semi-auto (light-weight) shot gun that I can put a rifled barrel on and use as a slug gun. I was looking around and found out Benelli‘s semi-autos have an inertia system instead of a gas one. Does that system still use the recoil of the gun? How does it work different from the gas. (and if you know of any good light-weight semi-auto slug guns please feel free to post any oppinions or info on that) (except Remingtons, I can‘t stand em): Benellis are over rated. They bleed off excess gas after the action cycles and compensates with their inertia management system. The price tag alone is enough to shy away most experienced hunters. That, coupled with the fact that Remington and even old Winchester semis have a better established reputation, doesn't interest me in the least. I'd rather have a pump action any day such as my 870.

Q: 2000 Pontiac grand am 2.4 automaticbattery light came on while driving. took battery and alt to Autozone. alt tested good. battery tester not working. warrantied battery anyway. so, good alt and new battery. checked for loose/bad connection. all seem fine.when I start car in the morning I can drive 10 min the the battery light comes on. Q: My ps3 will, once in a blue moon, shut itself down while playing a game and will have the red light flashing. It turns back on with no problems. The fan does get really loud too. If it is one of the older models and is out of warrenty I would recommend opening it up and cleaning out any dust that might have built up in there and maybe buying some Arctic Silver and apply it to the CPU and GPU just to make sure. Q: I have a 1997 Acura RL, Just last week, when gently braking, the pedal releases for a moment and I hear a motor of some kind engage. This only lasts a moment and the brake takes hold again. I bought the car on a very limited budget, and I don‘t have much to repair issues. The ABS light, TCS light and Check Engine lights have been on since I bought it a year ago. The pads and rotors are fine, as is the brake fluid level. What on earth is this?! If it‘s simply the ABS, can‘t I pull the fuse and just drive the car w/o the ABS system? Please auto gods, I need your help!: sounds like 1 of the wheel sensors is bad. before changing them check the plug-ins going to them to see if they are loose or corroded.

Q: Mitsubishi Galant 1998. I was in a recent auto accident that damaged the radiator area and I am trying to fix it myself. The check engine light is on it runs pretty hot. First off I understand that the coolant system is pressurized. In the accident the coolant bottle was crushed in such a way that the cap does not fit properly onto the bottle. The hose is still in the coolant and it doesnt leak. Could this cause a problem since the bottle cannot be pressurized?Second the radiator fans do not come on when the engine is turned on. does the thermostat need to activate the fans before they come on? ie is this normalAny ideas would be great. Thanks!: The cooling system does need to be pressurized. With the system pressurized the coolant gets hotter than if not pressurized. The fans may not come on immediately when you start the car because they are typically controlled by the ECT (engine coolant temperature sensor). When this sensor has a certain amount of heat passing through it it increases the voltage going to the PCM and will tell it to turn on the cooling fan. However, if you run the A/C, the cooling fan, or auxiliary cooling fan should turn on immediately. As far as the check engine light being on, it might be telling you that a sensor is bad. I would just take the car to an advance auto parts, or autozone and let them scan it really quick. This might pinpoint your issue right away.

I'd like one that updates automatically and uses the cigarette lighter for power.: There are no navigation systems on the market today that I know of that automatically update. The pioneer AVIC are updated by CD. I have a Magellan, and there is no information in the manuals about updating.

Q: my gf got into an accident last night. she said everything went well then when she went to turn she couldnt completly and ran into an embankment. also last week it was raining hard and she said the same thing happen except that she almost hit the sidewall. she said all this time for a while her low trac light has been on but never said anything. she said it felt like a glitchwhen steering the first time. what problems would set off that light that would cause a prob? she has a 95 camero auto v6: Not sure that a low trac light would do it - as most of the GM traction controls of that era have to do with limiting engine power during low traction conditions. However, some of the newer controls would pulse various brake pads using the ABS system, which in a turning condition, depending on how hard the pulses were, could make the car turn sharper, or make it much more difficult to turn. I wouldn't put it out of the question, but seems a bit far fetched.
