- Q: Every time I hit the F5 or F6 to light it up, A grey box pops up with a cancel sign in the bottom and won‘t let me light up my screen. What buttons do I hit to unlock it?
- If you are in a bright place, it will do that if the Auto illumination is checked. Try going to System Preferences/Keyboard and un-check Automatically illuminate keyboard in low light

Now to find out my honk and everything related to the front driver airbag is not working. (totally whole different thing). I know they must have done something and the owner acted like they didnt do anything and will do nothing about fixing , they are all in this. I am in the process of filing complaint and would like to know could it possible they done something wrong while fixing my car? - the act of replacing the clutch should not have affected the air bag system.if you horn is also not working it could have something to do with the air bag clock spring that is located under the airbag in your steering wheel.at this point you air bag system is not working.it will not deploy in case of an accident. your best bet is to take it to the dealer and have them run a diagnostic check.it will cost,but the may be able to tell you what caused it.there are time where just disconnecting the battery will require a set set. as far as them putting a license plate frame on your vehicle,they should not have done that without your consent.in a sense you are advertising for them.
- Q: in my 1994 mitsubishi expo when the brake is not on.then after awhile it shuts off.the guy at firestone said the brake fluid was dirty and a little low, but he couldn‘t just change it or add more in , he would have to check for a leak in the system first , and that would cost about $600.but when he dipped his finger in it and I drove away, it shut off.It did this again today and after warmed up , it shut itself off
- yeah, it normally indicates some issue with the hydraulic fluid in the brake line (leak or blockage), but the guy seems to be playing his part to get some extra bucks. Check another shop before paying the 600$, try a Mitsubishi one if u find it.
- Q: Has anyone been having problems with Windows Updates lately? The past couple of times, my computer had automatic Windows updates, and I‘ve had problems turning my computer back on. The power light comes on, the CD/DVD drive light flashes as it should, but the system doesn‘t kick in or start up (no Windows splash screen, etc.).It‘s only when I unplugged and plugged in the computer itself, that my computer came back on. The same thing happened once before, after the previous Windows Auto update. I have turned off the auto update function in the Control Panel.Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to make sure I don‘t have this problem again? I‘m afraid to turn off my computer now, as I might not be able to turn it back on. I have an HP Pavilion with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
- That and more. my most recent problems with Auto Update were updates changing drivers or firmware. I haven't had any problems since disabling the updates. You might need to do a system restore and then disable the updates and simply choose the files yourself to update.
