It is hard to describe. Can I put them together? One in the living room and one under the table? From the end of one to the beginning of other there would only be about 18 inches? Thanks
- It's hard to say without pics but as long as there are a few similar colors between the two then I'd say they'd work great - after all we are talking about two seperate areas in one big space so I wouldn't say they'd have to match exactly.

- Ask the Home Depot people, too, cause they know all the latest stuff, but that Resolve worked for me with other stains. If you ever drop something like that again (a dry powder), vacuum it up first. Then, use the carpet stain remover. good luck.

- its just dust. That's why carpet isnt good to have in closed places or just generally in your house. It holds in lots of dust and pet hair and other stuff in the air that settles. Its most likely nothing toxic but it can have negative effects on health in the long run like shortness of breath. best advice...save up some money and remove the carpet and put tiles or hardwood flooring (easier to maintain too) Or you could vacuum like twice a week (at least).

- Carpet padding is usually under carpet in homes. Under that can be plywood or cement. To get rid of the smell under the carpet, you'd have to pull the carpet. The amount of effort it would take to pull that carpet and to re-install it would be tremendous, and it wouldn't have any guarantees of getting the smell out. You'd be better off getting new carpet padding.

- Best kind of carpet, is the type that is easy to clean. My neighbor has very shaggy carpeting, and the result is more bugs, and gunk in the floor, and dirt and stains are hard to remove. Stick away from cotton, wool, polyester, etc. There are specialty carpet stores, check your local listings, also general Bed Bath and Beyond Type home improvement stores have various carpets. For cheap deals try visiting the Flee market or something. Since carpets are personal preference, it is best you feel the texture and stuff in the store for yourself.

- The newly created spots are the easiest to clean. Not wet) or napkins press firmly on the spot for several minutes. So, most of the liquid is absorbed into the towels or napkins, spots are basically in dry condition. Then, sprinkle dry clean powder and abstergent in the area polluted by spots, use a soft brush to brush back and forth. If the spots have been removed, absorbing dust is ok. If there is a little traces, sprinkle the dry clean powder once again, press on the spot by hand lightly, like this, the effect will be more prominent. Finally, absorb dust. As for parched spots, you can use a strong detergent, dip detergent on the towel, then scrub the spots from different directions. Most of the spots on the carpet will be transferred to the towel Use a dry towel to wipe the spots again to make the surface dry Then, sprinkle some dry cleaning powder, use hand brush to clean spots from all directions. Generally speaking, this method can be used to clean out a lot of parched spots.

- Paint thinner and a carpet cleaner! Be patient. I spilled black stain on a tan carpet once and i kept pouring paint thinner on it then soak it up. DONT SMEAR IT BLOT IT! Then when its about all gone mix the paint thinner in the carpet cleaner and suck it out. If you dont have a carpet cleaner go find a shop vac and put the thinner on and suck it up keep doing it till its gone! Or you can let it dry all the way IF ITS JUST ON TOP then kinda shave it off with scissors its not gonna look new but better than it did or another good way but a dresser or something over it LOL it'll save you till you move out
