This series of diaphragm pumps are the latest model at home. They are functioned to take out and suck in various corrosive liquid containing granules,Viscous, volatile, inflammable, explosive or poisonous liquid, procelain slurry, mashed fruit, flue, the reclamation of residual oil in tanker, temporary reversion of tanker, etc. The performance parameters of this series are close to that of German WLLDENPUMPS and American MARIO-WPUMPS.The components in contact with flow are made of stainless steel ,aluminium alloy and cast iron, while diaphragm may be NBR,viton, neoprene or PTEE.
QBY pneumatic diaphragm pumps are driven by compressed air ,steam or industrial waste gas, suction head up to 7m ,delivery head between 0-50m,and flow infinitely adjustable between 0.8-30m3/h.
- Q:how to install a main pipe water pump to service the community?
- Installation of water pump is very easy, any certified plumber and electrician can install electric water pump. Your question maybe is, how to design water pump water system to service the community? To determine the correct rating of water pump to be used and to design a water system, here are the steps : 1) Determine the safe discharge yield of your well for your water source, by series of tests. This will enable you to know discharge rate of well and the draw back time of water after pumping. This data will be used for designing a pump (its discharge capacity). Note that pump discharge capacity should be lower than well safe yield capacity in order not to drain the well. 2) Determine the suction lift or height of water table in the well by measuring the height from water table up to the top of the well. This data will be used for pump design (its suction lift/height capacity). Pumps suction lift varies depends on its Horsepower capacity and the type of pump (submersibble or centrifugal). 3) Determine number of households in the community. This data will be used for the design of reservoir (tank) for your water system and the number of hours for the pump to operate to fill the tank. Note that the average usage of water is 120 liters per day per capita. So the more the number of population, the bigger the tank and the longer the pumping time in order to meet the per capita usage. 4) Determine the elevations from your water source towards the community to be served. Use survey instrument to determine the elevations. This data will be used to design a height of the tank and the sizes of service pipes towards the community. The higher the difference in elevation from your source towards community, the lower the height of the tank and the smaller the sizes of service pipes. Sizes of service pipes can be determined by hydraulic heads (heights). By following these steps, I gues you can now design and construct a water system.
- Q:I installed a new water pump on a Cherokee straight-6 engine, the upper radiator hose is not heating up and the engine is starting to make a funny noise. The thermostat is new and was working fine before. The coolant reservoir is full and no more coolant will drain to radiator / engine. Anyone know why waterpump is not circulating coolant?
- is the radiator full enough?
- Q:what is a submersible well pump?
- A submersible slides down into a 4 inch or larger well. It is dropped down below the water level so it pushes the water up the pipe. The other way is to have a pump on top of the well pipe. Submersibles are far more dependable and pump a larger volume of water.
- Q:For the past couple days my car has been over heating quickly and there ha been some leaking underneath my car. well I went to start my car today to run to the store and the heating gauge was going up and down from overheating to perfectly fine within seconds...I popped the hood and there was antifreeze spraying on the engine. So my friend that I called said that meant there was a leak in my water pump. The autoshop in town is busy with over cars all day, I already called, and there isn't another shop within 15 miles. I work in 3 hours, and the drive is 30 minutes away. I have no other way to get to work, is it safe to drive my car or should I call in and let my manager know I can't make it? I have been working there almost 2 months and have never been late or called in.
- for someone that has spare hose laying around, it could have been repaired in less than 15 minutes with a piece of hose with an inside diameter the same size as the outside diameter of the original pump hose. 2 hose clamps and your good to go. fill her up and drive to work then get a new hose and replace it yourself or get it to a shop. This answer is more for anyone visiting this question now rather than the original poster.
- Q:I'm not familiar w/ this model but need to swap out the water pump. I have no pictures or publications. Anything in particular to watch out for? Is this a pushrod engine w/ a water pump mounted in the front center of the engine and driven by a serpentine belt? Thanks in advance.
- You probably have the 3.1 v-6, so the pump is not really hard to change, and is a belt driven pump.
- Q:Which is the better option for a home water pump? a submersible pump or floor based pump?
- last week i got a price on a above ground pump it pumps water up from 100 ft. it sure beats pulling 100ft of caseing every few years
- Q:I've noticed after driving my car for a while recently it squeals while accelerating. I'm wondering if its the water pump cause I've had a coolant leak for a while. I poured alluminum sealer in the reservoir and its stopped the leak almost completely though. If it was a broken pump, would this sealer have stopped the leak like it has? I drive a 2000 saturn sl2
- Coolant from water pump can leak on the belts and cause a squeal. So get some belt dressing to stop that. All things can be fixed with cans from auto stores. Fix a flat is good stuff too.
- Q:My truck turned off by itself and a bunch of steam and smoke came out and my radiator was dry. To keep it running i had to have the engine revved and at a stop sign hold the brake down. and slightly press. I'm assuming its the water pump however. It started yesterday as the colder weather started. What my question is what do you think it is and if you have experience with water pumps, how hard is it to replace i found one for $14
- that don,t sound like the water pump. if it was the pump then it would overheat and leak out. check to see where it,s leaking at. if it,s leaking from the pump then it will have to be changed even though it still might not help it to idle. it,s not really that hard to change the pump on a 351W . the hardest part is getting into it. you might have to remover some stuff so you can work. the belt and water pump pulley will have to come off and the fan but that should let you into the bolts.
- Q:the pulley wheel fell off while i was driving and all of the pulleys turn except the two under the water pump pulley. does anyone know if that is supposed to spin by hand or will it only spin when the car is running?
- Is it a big pulley down there? I'm thinking its the crankshaft pulley. That one won't turn by hand. Very difficult. What kind of car? Is a serpentine belt which one belt turn everything or multiple belts? A water pump should turn by hand and if its bad it will leak water. But there are time when the pump just goes out. Replace belt
