FAQ of Air conditoning Pump
1. Are CNBM pumps available in DIY stores?
Yes, currently, we’re available for DIY stores all over the world.
2. Where do I have to send pumps for service?
You must send them to the CNBM PUMP Service Point or, after contacting Customer Care, to the CNBM PUMP service center in China.
3. Are your pumps acid-proofed?
To choose the right pumps for chemical applications, we do need further details on hydraulic operations as well as on the type, concentration and temperature of the liquid.
4. Can your pumps mount Eff.1 motors
Currently, only on request though this will shortly be a CNBM standard.
5. Are your pumps protected against dry running?
No, unprotected centrifugal pumps are not generally designed for dry running. It is important to give us or your dealer as much information as possible about the system in which the pump is used. Inlet pressure, the type of liquid to be pumped, together with relative density, viscosity and temperature, for example, are required in order to allow CNBM to recommend the right pump with the right gaskets for a long operating lifetime.
- Q: Water pump is STILL constantly running! Since this past thursday, we did:new check valvenew pressure controlnew foot valve (well)well is not dryprime, air pressure are finewe have above ground pump in the basement. we called a plumber and he could do nothing! we have water and pump/tank and everything seem working fine. But the pump is on and off every 30 seconds - 1 minute. It is so annoying and out of ideas what could be wrong. My husband think it could be the tank and suggested that we replace it. But the plumber didn't say anything about the tank. And it is not too old.Do you think it is the tank and we need to replace it? If so, we will do it on this Sunday morning even though it might cost extra charge! please help!!!
- ITS A WATER LOGGED TANK, DONT REPLACE IT JUST DRAIN IT drain the tank, you need the air pocket in the tank. drain the pressure tank completely, let it fill it again, and have an air pocket in it. if it has a rubber bladder in it , the bladder could be leaking and all the air has been replaced with water, drain the tank and see if it feels empty after it is drained, if not the rubber bladder is full of water, new tank is needed. with no air pocket the pump is going to keep cycling on and off. the pressure switch comes on at 20 lbs, shuts off at 40 lbs. the only way it gets the 20 lbs difference is with the air pocket expanding. if all is well, lets say it takes 2 minutes for the pressure to drop from 40 to 20 with a faucet wide open. with no air pocket it will drop from 40 to 20 in a half a second, pump kicks on to pressureize it and its back to 40 in a half a second. pump is on and off, on and off over and over over. with an air pocket it will take the pump several minutes to bring it back up to 40 from 20.
- Q: I have a submersible pump outdoors for the water to my house. Indoors is a holding tank and pressure gauge. It seems the pressure gauge keeps slowly declining down to 20. Then when the toilet is flushed, the gauge kicks on and climbs to 50. Then left alone for a while the gauge again declines to 20. Do I have a leak somewhere? If so , where? Does the ballast inside the holding tank need to be pressurized? If so, how where? I seem to remember years ago, my husband did something with a bicycle tire air pump. Makes sense? Thanks
- If it's going down while nobody is using water then the check valve or foot valve is leaking through when the pump is off. It should pump it to a determined PSI then shut off. I suppose there could be a leak somewhere in the line, but I suspect the check valve. It's pretty common. ....the ballast does need to be pressurized but I doubt that's your problem. If that was bad you would have severe water hammer.
- Q: Where is the water pump? How do i take it out, and replace it?
- Another thing that's good to do is disconnect the battery , plus be sure to check the quality and mixture of the coolant with a anti-freeze tester , also have a container handy so nothing falls on the ground bec anti-freeze is poison to animals if they drink it etc. Hope that helps and best of luck.
- Q: Why my Water Pump is leaking again? It was replace 2 month ago brand new water pump?
- was gasket replaced? if we are sure pump seal is failing..( check underneath at leak hole for drips e.g. tissue and mirror) then it can be swapped for a replacement and send back unit as unsuitable for purpose. are we running a hot engine? do we have an air lock? where air locks occur out temp gauge can show cooler than normal but engine in fact over heating. decent garage can sort.
- Q: I found a small submersible water pump for pond decorations or birdbaths in my garage. It's about the size of three decks of cards stacked on top of each other. Would there be any harm/benefit of putting this into a 55 gal fw community tank?
- well it depends, do you have any small fish? and how is the water cycled in the pump? it needs to be protected so that fish dnt obviously get sucked. before you add it in tho need it submerged in a bucket of water and add several teaspoons of salt; that will kill all the bacteria that may have grown on and inside the pump. leave it in there for minimum 24 hours (just to be sure).
- Q: Why should the water inlet of water pump be fitted with reducer?
- Is the water in the end sealing (Shaqi) under the condition of satisfying the original design of the pumping pipe flow.Water injection; height of the larger, more sacred,
- Q: For a Dodge Ram 1500 pick-up. Not taking it to a mechanic.Already got the new pump. Got part of the engine off.Dont exactly have the right tools to make the job go fast but would like some tips on how to make it go faster..
- Honestly having the Chilton or Hayes repair manual will help greatly in understanding how it should all come apart. They run about $25.00 at you auto parts store. Having the proper tools will make the job go as smooth and quickly as possible. Most basic kits and be picked up at auto part stores for around 65.00 bucks. This is the best advice I can give a beginner who has just jumped right in there. Watch what you are taking apart and make sure that it is something that HAS to come off. There is no reason taking something out of the car if it's not going to help the project. When you picked up the water pump did you make sure to get too new radiator hoses? I will often replace the upper and lower hose when I do water pumps. Most likely they have been on there as long as the pump and it's time to change them. Not to mention now would be a great time to replace the thermostat on the engine as well to allow proper water flow through the engine. Also make sure you have the distilled water handy with the anti-freeze. Using distilled water keeps the radiator from becoming clogged with minerals that are normally found in your city water. It helps extend the life of your cooling system. I hope this helps. If you have any more questions feel free to E-mail me.
- Q: The water pump was just put on by the previous owner! It was in water! So what could cause this to happen? Is it bad? Should I wait for water to pump up to it? Or should I just put a new one on?
- Read my answer from your other question !
- Q: guys i have a mini-water pump.....i wanna pump kerosene instead of water,to make a mini stove,on my own..my doubt is ...if the water pump is used to pump kerosene, will the kerosene ignite inside the pump itself or will cause any problem..i just want the pump to pump kerosene....will it ignite inside of the pump, because the pump runs on electricity....can u clear my doubt
- Is the motor of the pump built-in so that the pumped fluid flows through the motor also? If the answer to the question is yes then do not use the pump for pumping kerosene. However, if the pumped liquid does not come in contact with motor then you can use the pump for pumping kerosene. But ensure that the pump shaft seal is of mechanical type (so that kerosene does not leak from the shaft sealing area) with parts (specially any rubber parts) compatible with hydrocarbons (use viton rubber parts instead of EPDM)
- Q: i am trying to set up a small aqaurium (about 25 gallons) and i am looking for a water pump that will flow water through the aquarium for a period of time and then shut off, and do that like every hour or so. is there such a thing? a water pump with a built in timer so its not running constanly but only every so often? it doesnt need to move alot of water, but i only want it to pump maybe once every hour. thanks for the help
- Not sure why you'd want to do this - if you're keeping fish, it would be better to have it run all the time. Anyway, I don't know of any filters or pumps with a built-in timer, but you could get a 24 hour timer and set it to run or shut off when you want just by moving the switches for each hour on or off. With the price of household timers, it would probably be cheaper than to buy a pump with a built in timer.
