FAQ of Air conditoning Pump
1. Are CNBM pumps available in DIY stores?
Yes, currently, we’re available for DIY stores all over the world.
2. Where do I have to send pumps for service?
You must send them to the CNBM PUMP Service Point or, after contacting Customer Care, to the CNBM PUMP service center in China.
3. Are your pumps acid-proofed?
To choose the right pumps for chemical applications, we do need further details on hydraulic operations as well as on the type, concentration and temperature of the liquid.
4. Can your pumps mount Eff.1 motors
Currently, only on request though this will shortly be a CNBM standard.
5. Are your pumps protected against dry running?
No, unprotected centrifugal pumps are not generally designed for dry running. It is important to give us or your dealer as much information as possible about the system in which the pump is used. Inlet pressure, the type of liquid to be pumped, together with relative density, viscosity and temperature, for example, are required in order to allow CNBM to recommend the right pump with the right gaskets for a long operating lifetime.
- Q: When did the pump start?
- The promotion of water is very important to human life and production. There are various ancient water appliances, such as Egypt's chain pump (seventeenth Century BC), China shadoof (seventeenth Century BC), Burton (Eleventh Century BC) and water (first Century ad). The famous spiral rods invented by Archimedes in the third Century BC can lift water to a few meters in a steady and continuous way, and the principle is still used by modern screw pumps. In 200 BC, the ancient Greek fire pump craftsmen invented by Kurt Siby Lucius is a kind of piston pump has the most original, the main components of a typical piston pump piston pump, but only after the steam engine was developed rapidly.1840~1850 years, the United States invented Worthington pump cylinder and steam cylinder opposite, the direct impact of the piston pump, marking the formation of modern piston pumps. Nineteenth Century was the climax of the development of piston pumps, which were already used in a variety of machines, such as water presses. However, with the rapid increase in water demand, from 1920s, the piston pumps with low speed and large flow were gradually replaced by high-speed centrifugal pumps and rotary pumps. But in the field of high pressure and small flow, reciprocating pump still occupies the main position, especially diaphragm pump and plunger pump have their own advantages and are used more and more.
- Q: Flow 70 cubic meters per hour; lift 35 meters, choose what standard water pump?
- The flow rate is 70 cubic meters per hour. The head is 35 meters, and the SH type double suction centrifugal pump is adopted.Double suction centrifugal pump for conveying liquid water or similar physical and chemical properties of water, according to the needs of users, by changing the pump structure and the material can be used for transport of muddy sand or various corrosive liquids, this series of pumps are suitable for factories, mines, city water supply and drainage, power plants, farmland irrigation and water conservancy.
- Q: i want to make this for a physics project for school. i found a video on how to make it, but i dont understand the physics behind. i have to make a model and a poster explaining the physics. i dont understand what to put on the poster so could someone help me with which physics principles this project would go with?
- It isn't practical to give a detailed description here. This is a positive displacement pump. The pump chamber is sealed so that as the piston is moved up the volume within the chamber increases. Water is pushed into this chamber by the outside air pressure. If the pump is located too far above the water source then the air pressure is not sufficient and you will produce a vacuum inside but the water still will not flow. When the pump is pushed down the water flows out. Now the one way valves are critical. We don't want the water to flow back the way it came and we don't want the water that we have already pumped to flow back into the pump. So a one way valve on the inlet will permit water to flow into the pump but not out of it. And a one way valve on the outlet will permit water to flow OUT of the pump but not into it. So with each stroke you a) reduce the pressure in the pump. b) water is forced from the inlet, past its one way valve and then into the pump. c) the pump is pushed down increasing the pressure in the pump. d) water flows out of the pump through the other one way valve and on to the output.
- Q: Okay heres the deal Its knockin and I tthink the water pump is going would this be a cause of this and when it heats up it knocks but when its cold it doesnt knock also once it gets hot it shuts off and starts to smoke what could this be is it maybe the waterpump when I try to re start the car after it shuts it self off it only just clicks wount turn over thanks
- I'm sorry to tell you, but from your description it sounds as if you have major internal engine damage. A water pump just won't cause the symptoms you are describing. I'd have to say your engine is close to seizing up entirely - the knocking sounds like rod knock in the bottom end of the motor.
- Q: I have a 1.5 horse Power Hit and Miss engine? Is it possible to buy a water pump I could run off of the hit and miss engine that would pump water from a river over a big hill and little ways and into a water tank or is this just a waste of time. How much water could I pump at a time? A trickle or a gush of water? When I say hill I don't mean like a little hill in your yard I mean a hill you have to hike up? If you don't know are there any resources I could access? Where could I buy such a pump if there is one?
- A horse and a half won't do much. You would be better off with a hydraulic ram type pump if you can get about a 10 or 15 foot fall before the ram. It will pump about 4 or 5 times the height of the fall, but in small quantities. It will run 24/7 without gasoline, so it will fill a tank over a long period of time. The railroads used them during the steam era when they had huge water towers out on the plains.
- Q: Why such a difference in price. Is the GM worth 4 times the NAPA brand. Both are new for a 2003 Buick ParkAve Ultra with 95k miles. 1st time we're replacing the water pump.
- It depends on which pump you are getting from napa the reman pump or the new pump also that is not the only thing that you will need! you will also need the plastic elbows that go from the water pump to the alternator bracket (as soon as they are touched they will break into a million pieces) there are 2 elbows in the Dorman/help bubble pack both will be needed (they aren't very expensive though) And yes the 4 hours is fine (my database calls for almost 5 hours (4.8) that's because it's an Ultra (supercharger is an interference when accessing the pump) So continue with what you are doing just be sure to get the NEW pump from NAPA
- Q: I have a 1990 GMC K1500 Sierra and about 1 week ago I went to check the anti-freeze level. I noticed it was a tiny bit down. So I look down at the lower radiator hose and it had a slow drip. So the next day I changed the anti-freeze, New thermostat, and a New lower radiator hose. So I thought it was fine but yesterday I went to go check the anti-freeze and the level was down. I look at the lower radiator hose and it has a slow drip again. The hose I replace was Brand New. Could this be a water pump? I did notice a tiny bit of anti-freeze on the water pump. Or what could this be or do I have to change the hose again?
- If the water pump is leaking, there should be a trail of coolant going down the engine. Gotta find where the leak is coming from to determine what to replace. Upper hose, clamps, radiator? Sometimes ya gotta hose off all the antifreeze, let it dry, then look. Good luck.
- Q: Water pump 50HZ impeller and 60HZ what is different, why not the same?
- 50HZ motors are usually not damaged if they run on a 60HZ circuit, but the speed will increaseConversely, the 60HZ device runs on the 50HZ circuit, and the speed drops.Because of their different frequency, make them synchronous speed rotating magnetic field winding is different, so the rotor induction (induction motor) speed will be different, the pump will naturally lift Gao Shaoxu, and often will not cause damage to the equipment, because many things are in the 50HZ 60HZ.Second, for synchronous motors, the increase and decrease of speed is much more obvious than that of induction motors, because their rotor and motor are synchronous and keep synchronous speed
- Q: I'm looking to buy a used 2001 Protege. The car is nearing 75000mi, but the owner has not changed the timing belt or the water pump. I found out that it is recommended to change the timing belt at 60000mi, but couldn't find anything on the water pump. Realistically, when would I need to replace these, and any idea how much it would cost? Thanks!
- That could have either the 1.6 liter or 2.0 liter engine. My information shows that if you have the 1.6 liter, at least you don't have to worry about bending valves against pistons if the belt breaks -- you'll just be stuck out on the road until you can get it towed and fixed. Not so with the 2.0 which is an interference engine. So if you DO have the 2.0, pay attention -- you don't want an expensive breakdown! You're on borrowed time at 75K. For both engines, Mazda recommends that you replace the timing belt every 60K miles. Gates (a major replacement supplier) seems to think these belts will go 105K. Since it's a factory belt, stick with 60K. As for the water pump, it's often one of those while you're already in there sort of things when you're doing a timing belt. 60K makes it a tougher call, especially with the better quality of water pump bearings and seals. If your interval were 80K ~ 100K as is true on some cars, I'd say go for it without blinking. As cheap as it'll be (it's really just the price of the pump), and it was my set of wheels, I'd do it anyway, even at 60K, if it needed to be pulled to do the belt.
- Q: I have replaced my water heater and water pump because the owner before me didnt drain it over the winter... but know the water suputers when the pump is on.. when I hook up to city water it works great.. I have not been able to find any leaks.. any ideas???
- A lot of the pumps for RVs do cause a slight sputter, Try compleatly filling the water tank, then turning the pump on,. Allow a few minutes to build up pressure and fill the hot water tank, If the sputtering slows, or compleatly stops, your ok. You have to remember that a lot of after market pumps don't work quite as well as an OEM pump. If it's a real bad sputtering, You might need to return the pump.
