- Q: I bought a ATI HD2600 Pro Video card todayHere is the list of what my computer specs,Pentium 4 2.53 GHzCurrent Videocard - Rage Fury Pro 2000 Pro (Microsoft Corp)slot - AGP 8xmotherboard - BCS PT800CE - Aram - 512MB PC2700 333 MHZ (2 of them) 1G ramMonitor - 19ViewSonic VA902B 1280 x 1024im not sure about my battery wattage is enough for the card or not. it says 400+ battery supply is recommended, could it be the reason?when i plugged in my monitor cable to the adaptor for dvi to AGP and connect it to my video card, HD2600 Pro. I turn the computer on, but the monitor do not turn on. it just stays as it was. i have made sure that the monitor is on and all the plugs are right i do not understand what happen. BTW, when i try to check my bios settings, i am able to access it after putting in my password, but it won't let me update, everything is in blue, except some are quot;press enterto allow me to see the details. why is that? please help me...please please.
- it might if so the plugin looks like a floppy drive plug four pins if you got the card new and it has an adaptor you will have to use it most ati cards that have external power syncronize with the hard drive .
- Q: Does it need the PCI-e power cable on the PSU
- No maximum mom forums are huge-spread in they want the ATX 24pin significant plug. The could also want the 12v AUX too. regularly there's a mixture of molex and SATA connectors. maximum production unit machines do not use a extreme end video card so the wont have the PCIe video card connectors you should actually get a PSU that has extra skill than the cardboard needs AND that it comes with each and every of the connectors you want.
- Q: Recently, I purchased two power tools from Craftsman - a 19.2v 1/2drill/driver and a 4.56A angle grinder that look exactly like ones sold by Porter Cable. I don't have links for the drills, but compare pictures of the two grinders below. Other than part of the plastic housing being a different color, you can clearly see that it's the exact same tool.
- Most everything is made by one manufacturer different companies that order enough of anything can have there own branding on them the brands you have mentioned are at the lower end of the spectrum as for quality you will probably discover that the cheapest lithium ion cordless drill is just as good as the most expensive one on the market
- Q: what do ferrite beads do on power and audio/speaker cables do and is is it worth buying some and fitting them to reduce interference?or are they just as pointless as monster hdmi cables?thanks!.
- Couldn't find a quantitative discussion of how effective they are, but according to this wikipedia article they are needed for a device to obtain FCC class B certification.
- Q: i bought a record player at a garage sale. it is the kind that has to be hook up to a sterio (no speakers of its own). it has the two cables to hook up to the sterio but no power cable. will the power come from the sterio or did i get ripped off?
- You need to get a power cable. If you do some research online maybe you can find the manufacturer of the turntable. It may be a common type cord or maybe not. If you e-mail me maybe I can help more.
- Q: I installed a new Power supply after my old one stopped working. I bought a Thermaltake TR2 500W. I connected everything that needed to be connected but it would not turn on. Then i disconnected the 4pin cable that goes to the motherboard, and it turned on. But my monitor didn't detect anything so it just went into quot;sleep modequot;. So every time i connect the 4 pin PCI-E connection to the motherboard it just doesn't turn on. Please help
- You might have a DOA power supply or motherboard. It might just have problems with the connections. Sounds like the problem is the motherboard if 2 power supplies dont work on it. I would consider getting a new motherboard.
- Q: Two weeks ago, my 1 yr 19 lcd monitor began to flicker? Why? The power cord and usb cable are secure?
- I've had a similar thing happen with my 17 GEM monitor. Eventually, I relocated the monitor and redid all the wiring and the flickering ultimately stopped. I'd wager it's a wire issue.
- Q: I blew 2 fuses in my amp in my car, i have replaced them both, one was a 30amp and the other a 20. The 30 amp was an inline fuse from the battery to the amp and the 20 amp was a standard 20 amp fuse in the amp. As i said i replaced both fuses and try the amp again and it wouldnt go. There is a LED light on the top just lighting up a logo, when i attatch the power from the battery the light goes off and when i disconnect it the light comes on. When i dissconect the power the red light for diagnose comes on.
- This sounds like a wiring problem i reccomend you completly inspect all wiring to your amp if looks fine then use a test light and test all the wiring if all passes then your problem is within the amp itself. test the remote wire with stereo to car on if wired that way.
- Q: I currently have a 250 watt 2 channel power cord and a 500 watt alpine amp with 2 12 inch mtx terminator subs.i am continuously blowing blade fuses and i ended up buying a 680 watt power cable. Will this blow out my amp or do any damage or will it be all good and give the maximum power my amp can supply? (Without exploding) just wondering thanks!
- no sir it will not, infact it may completly stop the problem, i would say to much current is passing through the wire, if the amp will accept the wire (even if its a tight fit) thats what your looking for. so to answer your question using the 680 watt wiring kit is just what you need and will be perfect, you could even get the 1200 watt wiring kit if need be, (assumikng you bought the schosche kit from walmart)
- Q: And if so how much would that cable be and could you supply a link to get it from that place?Im really struggling to find any details of where i can get one so could you possibly check out the item and see if there is any help on there?I currently have a 3A 250v Power cable and i'm wondering if that can help? Thanks alot and if it helps ill pick a best answer soon. Thank you!
- High input cable ...? Not really sure what that is, Also, that power supply is junk. 750W and it only has a single 6-pin PCI? That's sad. Good 750W power supplies are at least ?70 and have four 6-pin PCI cables. Heck, a good 430W costs more than that and it's guaranteed to perform better.
