- Q: HiIm planning to buy a Antec Nine Hundered, how long would my power supply unit cables need to be to run my motherboard (Intel Tappen D945GTP) thanks
- pretty much all cables on a psu is long enough to reach any mobo in any case (assuming its the correct form factor)
- Q: I want to install a Bazooka Powered Sub (EL84-HP) to my car. I currently have a Pioneer 4-channel 600-watt amp that has a direct power line from the battery. However, I do not want to run another power line from my battery to my Bazooka sub, which has it's own built-in 100-watt sub. Would it be OK to connect the power cable only from my Pioneer amp to my Bazooka sub?
- supplied that the main considerable ability cord taking place your sub amp is heavy sufficient to ability the two amps without an considerable voltage drop, then your plan ought to paintings high-quality. i could floor the 2d amplifier one after the different instead of connect it to the 1st amp's floor terminal, nonetheless.
- Q: Hi, Recently I bought nikon S550 digi camera from U.S, their power supply is different from India. In the power cable they mentioned 125 7A, do i need any convertor or directly i can use.
- India power outlets run 220v, not 120, so you are going to need a converter or a completely new power-supply.
- Q: when i bought my motherboard it came with two 4-pin to sata power cables but i see that the power supplies have a sata power cable on it how do i connect these i have no idea how to do this
- Just connect the power supplies sata power connector to the hard drive. By the way those 4-pin(molex) to sata power connectors are only used if your power supply doesn't have sata power connectors but only molex and your hard drives are sata power. They allow you to connect a 4pin molex to the connector and power sata hard drives with it. If you want to connect a sata power connector to it and get molex power you can't the connector is not designed for that. Also if your hard drive uses sata to connect to the motherboard and has a 4pin power connector just connect a 4pin power cable from the power supply to the hard drive. I hope that answers your question.
- Q: keep in mind this is a 6 yr old machine, the old roms connected the old way, I don't even know the name of the old cables.....

- Q: Why did my power supply entrance burn with the power cord cable the stats of my computer are: HP Compaq dx2250 Microtower PCProgram: Windows 8 32bitPowerSupply: 500w MaxGraphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 tiWhy cause it to burn? What should I do? Change the power supply or buy a better power cord cable. The cable that burn, I bought it on OKorder for $2, I am not sure if this cause the problem, but for sure I need to buy a power supply because the entrance burn. What should I do? Is my computer stable with all this stats? What cause this to happen? Was the cheap power cord fault? I don't know, please answerThank You,
- A dodgy power cable can very easily singe or burn the power socket on the computer. In general, the lighter the cable, the more dodgy it is. $2 is nothing - I would buy a more expensive cable. The cents you save isn't worth it when your house is on fire. It's impossible to know whether your power supply or other computer components suffered any damage because of the electrical fire. You could try testing with a multimeter, but you should probably replace the power supply at a minimum.
- Q: which cables cant be near each other??(will cause noise radiation if put together)i gotta run some wires through my car and i dont know wich ones to keep away from others. im runnin...4 gauge (eventually will be 2 gauge) power wire for amp2 speaker wires for rear deck speakersrca cables for ampremote turn on wire for amp
- Technically, running your RCA wires and power wires shouldn't cause any problems and can be dubbed a myth. However, a lot of people will disagree. For induction between power and signal wire to occur, a form of AC must be introduced on the DC power wire. One solution, if you want to run them together, is to have good shielded RCA cables and/or to separate the RCA wires and twist them (as in twisted pair wire, twisted pair wire is used in CAT3, CAT5 and CAT6 communication wire to eliminate noise/interference/induction). Another solution is distance, you don't have to have cable on both sides of the car as a 1 foot separation will do just as good. ____________ As for will s, What in the world would anyone use a zener diode for? A zener diode is used to regulate a lower voltage from a higher voltage. Example, if I wanted a pure 6 volts from a 12 volt supply then I would use a zener. Zeners don't operate well when the supply is the same as what you want out (ie, 12 volt supply, 12 volts out). Besides to find one to handle the current will both be quite large and expensive. Plain useless. Additional notes Clearly your attempts are for a good measure, but lack in the knowledge of what really happens with the introduction of induction on an input, makes your idea wrong. My pestering hostile e-mails were nothing more than a discussion on how your idea wouldn't be cost effective or practicle. It's a shame you can't take constructive critisism. I would like to point out that overvoltage transients and induction are two totally different things in their respective terms. Overvoltage transients are caused by motors and relays turning on/off. Induction occurs exactly what happens in an AC transformer. But in this case, AC isn't an issue since it's a DC power source. Granted, induction is probable, but not likely due to the insignifacant level of voltage produced plus the sheilding of the RCA cables.
- Q: Where can I find a power cable for an HP Photosmart C3180 printer?
- try Walmart, circuit city, or best buy. Any store that carries electronics, or should i say specializes in electronics.
- Q: My car wont start and only starts after moving power cables up and down. Im not sure what the problem is. If i slightly move it I see alittle sparking under the engine. When i manipulate the battery power cables it manipulates all the wires connecting to it so i cant pin point where the problem is. When i try to start ignition there is zero sound. When i manipulate cables it starts right up and cranks fine.
- You are not supposed to be able to move the battery cables and that's where your problem lies. Clean and tighten the battery terminals.
- Q: I recently got YLOD on my ps3 (60g fat) system ,sent it away ,got it back with a new mainboard ,it worked for about 2 days and it cut out (red lights blinking) once again i sent it away ,got it back and it cut out within a few hours (red lights blinking again ) ,so one last repair i sent it off to same shop ,and once again it worked for about a week then cut out on me again ! ,is there any possibility its my power cable to my ps3 thats doing this ?
- It's simple: Your PS3's hardware was too damaged for it to be repaired, or the repair shop has no idea what they are doing. Not all PS3's can be effectively repaired. And even if someone gets them working temporarily (as in your case) they can shut down again almost immediately. See if you can get a refund or at least a partial refund. You need to give up on that PS3. It's beyond repair.
